Jeffrey Todd Adkins, 39, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Keller cemetery, Lovington, IL. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur.
Jeff was born on May 13, 1968, the son of James S. Adkins, Sr. and Marilyn (Denier) Adkins. He was a graduate of Eisenhower High School and a former employee of Mueller, Co.
Surviving are his father and mother of Decatur, IL; brothers James (Debe) Adkins, Jr. of Decatur, IL; Thomas (Tricia) Adkins of Lakewood, IL; sisters Vickie (David) Ratcliff of Decatur, IL; Debra (Greg) Riley of Aiken, S.C. He also leaves seven nephews, one niece, and his loyal wiener dog, Grettle.
Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Clyde and Martha Denier and paternal grandparents Frank and Janie Adkins.
The family would like to thank relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and their church family for all their prayers and concerns.

Robert Harold Doddek

Robert Harold Doddek, 84, of Decatur, IL., died on Saturday (May 24, 2008) at 12:15 P.M. at Fair Havens Christian Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (June 3, 2008) at 10:00 A.M. at Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL., with visitation on Monday (June 2, 2008) from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home and also one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran cemetery Decatur, IL. Military Rites will be conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to: Concordia Lutheran Church.
Harold was born on August 29, 1923 in Decatur, IL., the son of William Doddek and Anna (Heusterberg) Doddek. He married Mary M. Walser on September 29, 1946 in Decatur, IL. Mary preceded him in death on October 31, 1990. He married Aurelia “Lil” Signoretti Carlson on October11, 1992.
Harold was a Charter Member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, serving in Italy, France, and Germany including the Anzio Invasion. Harold worked for A.E. Staley for forty- two years retiring as Office Services Manager in 1983. He enjoyed his family, traveling, music, dancing, and winters spent in Texas with his many friends.
Surviving are his wife “Lil” of Decatur, IL.; five children: Nanci Grandone and husband Bill of Gillespie, IL., Robert “Bob” Doddek and wife Susan of Decatur, IL., Thomas “Tom” Doddek and wife Diane of Normal, IL., Marilyn Baker and husband Ed of Decatur, IL., and Barbara Glinsky and husband Michael of Houston, TX.; step-children: Lindy Sander of Woodstock, IL., Lory Lysik and husband David of St. Germaine, Wisc., and Leonard Carlson and wife Tammy of Gilbert, AZ.; twenty one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife-Mary, brother- Herbert Doddek, sisters- Ruth Doddek, Elsie Sablotny, Dorothy Sablotny, Alma Doddek, and Marie Fortner.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Fair Havens Christian Home and Decatur Memorial Hospital Hospice for their kind services.

Lillian M. Agee, 63, of Decatur, IL, died 3:35 P.M., Monday, April 14, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 18, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, April 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maroa cemetery.
Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice.
Lillian was born September 29, 1944, in Lincoln, IL, the daughter of Archie and Emma (Boswell) Nichols. She married William C. Agee on March 30, 1963 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2003.
Lillian and her husband, Bill, farmed in the Maroa area for many years.
Lillian attended Life Foursquare Church and Maranatha Assembly of God.
She is survived by her son Bill Agee and wife Laura of Maroa, IL; daughter Connie Weekley of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Tia Agee of Decatur, IL, Amanda Agee of Lees Summit, MO, Brian Agee of Maroa, IL, Chelsea Weekley of Decatur, IL; brothers Art Nichols and wife Rose of Decatur, IL, Glen Wesley Nichols of Zephyr Hills, FL; brother-in-law Richard Agee and wife Viola of Argenta, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, sister Reva Sutman.
The family would like to give special thanks to DMH Hospice and Art and Rose Nichols whom had given loving care for her during the last few months of her life.

Billie W. “Bill” Allen, 84, of Decatur, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 9, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, with military rites conducted by the Army Honor Guard. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, are assisting the family with the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Bill was born on August 23, 1923, in Argenta, IL, the son of Wayne and Elsie (Nell) Allen. He married Edna Treadaway on July 7, 1945, in London, England. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Bill was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. He was a member of Teamsters Local #279 and previously worked for Staley Express Trucking. His first priority was church and family; he also enjoyed fishing and camping.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Edna of Decatur; daughters Janet Troby and husband Charles of Tower Hill; Judy Kelm and husband Ronald of Decatur; grandchildren Peggy Musgrove, William Troby, Erica Bryan, Darel Troby; great grandchildren Emily Musgrove, Will Bryan, Joshua Bryan, Ashley Troby, Shawn Troby; sister Eileen Marine and husband Donald of Carlyle.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Mildred B. Allen, 97, of Decatur, IL, died 4:45 A.M., Monday, October 29, 2007, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 2, 2007, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
Mildred was born February 9, 1910, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Lyons) Horton. She married Chester E. Allen on September 22, 1928, in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Mildred was a member of First Christian Church. She worked for 20 years for Crane Potato Chips.
She is survived by her son Jack E. Allen and wife Florence of Fort Myers, FL; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Victor P. Allen, 63, of Decatur, formerly of Illiopolis, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 3 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation 5-7 P.M. Sunday, March 2, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Illiopolis.
Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Allen was born September 12, 1944, in Decatur, the son of Ernest T. and Evelyn (Wayne) Allen. He married Dianna Lowis in 1964 in Springfield. He then married Hope Jackson on January 24, 1998, in Las Vegas. Mr. Allen was owner and operator of ASE Blacktop for 30 years. He formerly owned and operated ET Allen and Sons in Illiopolis. He loved riding his Harleys and spending his winters in Texas. He also enjoyed boating. Mr. Allen was a member of Prairieland ABATE, Freedom of Choice/HOG Chapter.
He is survived by his wife Hope of Decatur; daughter Shelley and son-in-law George Rogers; son Robert Pickel and fiancé Laura Haney; brothers Richard Allen of AZ, Terry Allen of Decatur, and Michael Allen of Reno, NV; sisters Roe Barron of HI and Joda Campbell of FL; grandchildren Wesley Rogers, Michael Rogers and Jerin “Bundle” Pickel, all of Decatur; great grandchildren Tessa Dorrell, Amberleigh Rogers, Haven “Sweet Pea” Kohrs, all of Decatur; special friend Butch Grossman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lauretta Tabak, and brother Robert Allen.

Mary “Granny Mary” D. Amon, 92, of Decatur died at 3:15AM, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Fair Haven Christian Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Amon will be 11:30AM, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, where friends may call Monday from 6-8:00 PM. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Memorials maybe made to the Church of the Brethren of Decatur.
Mrs. Amon was born July 10, 1915 in Cabot, Ark., the daughter of Tildon Thomas & Lou Etta Lasley Loftis.
She married Rex Amon who preceded her in death March 18, 1983.
Mary was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Decatur. She retired in 1974 after working for many years in the Eisenhower High School cafeteria. Her last employment was Manager of Florian Apartments. She enjoyed her family, selling and trading antiques, playing Bridge and crocheting.
Mary is survived by Four Grandchildren, James Thomas Maines & Wife Sue of Burnswick, GA., Rexlyn Nicole and Husband Jay of Decatur, Mary Frances “Murphy” Vorndam & Husband Rodney of Rye, CO, and Heather Maines Smith & Husband Joseph of Peoria; Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Eight Great Great Grandchildren; Two Brothers James Loftis of Alton, IL and Thomas Loftis of Chula Vista, CA; One Sister Evelyn Earl of National City, CA; Son-In-Law Gilbert Maines and wife Gini of Decatur.
Mrs. Amon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Shirley Lou Amon Maines, great grandchild Jesse Lee Maines and one sister Juanita Hamilton.

Patricia was a member of the Ansarettes.
She is survived by her sons Patrick Dean Durnil and wife Lynda of Decatur, IL, John Michael Durnil and Stephen Smoot of Chicago, IL; daughter Mary Letitia Durnil of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Kendra Lee Durnil and fiancé Tim Ward of Decatur, IL, Larren Elizabeth Durnil of Carbondale, IL, John Andrew Durnil of Homewood, IL; brother Melvin Lawler of Ft. Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and one sister.
