Marcia J. Mierkiewicz of Arlington Heights
Funeral services for Marcia J. Mierkiewicz, 54, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 1571 Maple Ave., Evanston. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of S. Richard Mierkiewicz; loving mother of Michelle (Jeffrey) Rudolph, Kimberly, Kevin and the late Colleen Mierkiewicz; devoted grandmother of Allyson Rudolph; daughter of Elsie Carlson; sister of five brothers; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Glen J. Morrissey of Rolling Meadows
Memorial services for Glen J. Morrissey, 41, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Evangel Assembly of God Church, 5700 Bartels Road, Hanover Park.
Born March 18, 1957, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospice House, Elk Grove Village. Interment will be private.
Mr. Morrissey worked as a laborer for the Cook County Highway Department for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Morrissey (nee Mari); parents, Doris and John Morrissey; and stepdaughters, Michelle and Melissa Bury.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.

Paul Bahne Munnich Sr., 64, of Schaumburg, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999. Arrangements were made by Countryside Funeral Home, Streamwood/Schaumburg, (630/847) 289-8054.

Edward Ted Panzella of West Chicago
Funeral services for Edward Ted Panzella, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago, with the Rev. Welton Warkentin officiating.
Born Jan. 5, 1921, in Cicero, he passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at West Chicago Terrace. Burial will be private.
Mr. Panzella graduated from the School of Music at Northwestern University and taught for 31 years in District 94, District 33, and at St. Mary's School.
While pursuing his master's degree in music, he composed the `Symphony of Hope' which was played years later by the DuPage Symphony, of which he was a member. An Army AirCorps veteran of World War II, Mr. Panzella was a member of American Legion Post 300 and the West Chicago Lions Club.
Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Panzella enjoyed taking his students to Chicago, introducing them to the Lyric Opera Student Performances, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago White Sox games. Mr. Panzella also traveled to many foreign countries and attended two Olympic Games.
He is survived by his wife, Ilene Panzella (nee Skrabel); children, Michael Panzella of West Chicago, Melanie (Alan) Roteman of Mesa, Ariz. and Mark (Renee) Panzella of Tampa, Fla.; granddaughters, Stacy and Meghan Panzella; sisters, Elizabeth (Phillip) Capone of Barrington and Lucille McCarthy of Wauconda; and sisters-in-law, Joan (James) Marcinko of Winfield and Patricia (Marlin) Kinning of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Esther Panzella, and his brother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Esther W. Regelbrugge of St. Charles
Funeral services for Esther W. Regelbrugge, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Charles, with the Rev. Jane Kunzie Brunner officiating.
Born Sept. 1, 1911, in Batavia, she died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Burial will be in UnionCemetery, St. Charles.
Mrs. Regelbrugge was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Charles and was a very active volunteer. Prior to her retirement she was a telephone operator in Geneva for 18 years.
She is survived by hersons, Barton (Sylvia) Regelbrugge of Peoria, Robert (Marcia) Regelbrugge of Pearland, Texas and Albert Jr. (Marnie) Regelbrugge of Lisle; grandchildren, Bradley Regelbrugge, Lori (Jackson) Ray, Adam (Rose) Regelbrugge, Tana (Scott) Wood, Cathy (Steve) Merrick, Kellie (Robert) Soliday, Mark Olsen, Charles Kells and Patty (David) Thorpe; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, April Ray, Jacob and Austin Regelbrugge, Carter Wood, Rachael, Jonathon, Taylor Merrick, and Wesley, Spencer and Melissa Carlson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Augusta and Axel Anderson; brothers, Joseph, Klause and Ralph Anderson; sisters, Stella Johnson, Svea Ashford, Frieda Smith, Ruth Laver and Frances Miller.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Saga Sylvia Ziebell Stanton formerly of Arlington Heights
Private graveside services and burial for Saga Sylvia Ziebell Stanton (nee Wallin), also formerly of Ingleside, will be held at a later date.
Born Oct. 11, 1909, in New York City, N. Y., she died suddenly Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at her home in High Springs, Fla.
Sylvia, as shewas known, lived in Chicago unti 1952, then lived in Arlington Heights and Ingleside before moving to Florida in 1975.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Marilyn) Ziebell of Schaumburg; daughter, Deanna (Paul) Braun of Newberry, Fla.; grandchildren, Scott, Steve (Heidi), John and Rick (Renee) Heintz, and Lance (Kendra), Blake and Tobey Ziebell; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur Stanton; parents; brother, Harry; and sister, Elaine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.

Helene Stenek formerly of Grayslake and Gages Lake
Memorial services for Helene Stenek (nee Vesely), 84, of South Carolina, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Round Lake, will officiate.
Born April 28, 1914, in Chicago, she passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, in Rock Hill, S. C. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park.
Mrs. Stenek was former owner of the `Old Hickory Inn' in Antioch and a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter #735 in Antioch, Friendship Club of Gages Lake and the Grayslake Seniors.
She leaves her son, Joseph W. (Connie) Zdenek; daughter-in-law, Marlene Zdenek; sister-in-law, Adeline Valenta; nephews, Edward and Richard Hubacek and John Valenta; nieces, Laura Dominas and Patricia Maxian; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Zdenek; son, Donald Zdenek; and sister, Marie Hubacek.
Friends of the family may visit from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services Friday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of your choice, in memory of Mrs. Stenek.

L. Donte' Swineford-Lewis of Buffalo Grove
Funeral services for L. Donte' Swineford-Lewis, 14, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, Ltd., 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Born Oct. 1, 1984, in Mobile, Ala., he died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at St. James Hospital. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
Survivors include his mother, Dianna Lewis of Buffalo Grove; stepfather, Daniel Lewis; brother, Dolan Lewis; maternal grandparents, Gerry (Bill) Martin and Roy Swineford; great-grandmothers, Frances Schultz and May Martin; great-grandfather, George Swineford; uncle, Randy (Jill) Swineford; aunt, Dawn (Tracy) Whitaker; and manycousins and friends.

Jason A. Teafoe of Geneva
A funeral Mass for Jason Andrew Teafoe, 24, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva. The Rev. Joseph F. Jarmoluk will officiate.
Born May 14, 1974, the beloved son of Linda M. Thielman and Laurence G. Teafoe, Jason passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 1999. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva Township.
Jason was a 1992 graduate of Geneva High School and currently worked as a self-employed roofer. In his spare time, he enjoyed many sports, including golf, bowling and fishing. He was best known by his family and friends for being a free spirit and living life to the fullest. Jason touched people in many ways but will be remembered most for his smile and spontaneity.
Surviving are his mother, Linda Marie Thielman of Geneva; father, Laurence G. Teafoe of St. Charles; stepfather, John T. Thielman of Geneva; stepmother, Terri Teafoe of St. Charles; brothers, Jeffery Teafoe of Geneva, Jimmy Teafoe (fiancee Stacy Zipay) of Batavia and Lauren Teafoe of Wisconsin; sister, Jennifer Thielman of Geneva; stepsister, Shelley (Jeremy) Kerr of Missouri; grandparents, Bud and Lucielle Dorgan of Stevensville, Mont., Peggy and Vern Phister of St. Charles and Jerome Teafoe of Montana; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and one extremely special nephew, Tryston John Teafoe, his littlebuddy and his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by six great-grandparents; and great-uncle, the Rev. Joseph Teafoe of Freeport.

Robert L. Thomas of Elgin
Services for Robert L. Thomas, 70, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Willie Tate will officiate.
Born Sept. 13, 1928, in Opelika, Ala., to Jesse and Martha Thomas, he died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
Mr. Thomas had been a resident of Elgin for more than 40 years and had been employed byNTN in Elgin before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Miles Thomas; brothers and sisters, Sally Burns and Charlie, Marvin, Hattie and Fred Thomas; nephew, Charles Bullard; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is also survived by a close friend, Lisa Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Tommy Lee and Robert Thomas Jr.; one daughter; and brother, Jessie Thomas.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday, at the funeral home.

Patricia Darlene Villa of Round Lake Beach
Funeral services for Patricia Darlene Villa (nee Sorce), 60, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, with the Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Round Lake officiating.
Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at her residence. Interment will be privately held in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mrs. Villa had lived in Round Lake Beach for more than 30 years. She worked as a custodian for Round Lake Magee Middle School.
She leaves her husband, Benny Villa, whom she married May 16, 1987, in Round Lake; children, Kathy (Robert) Soto of Round Lake and Kevin (Heather) Funk of Round Lake Beach; grandchildren, Jeffrey Funk and Teresa Hammond; sisters, Sandy (Ronald) Schmidt of Milwaukee, Rosemary (David) Fewkesof Oakbrook and Joanne Conley of Milwaukee, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and June Sorce; brother, Leslie Hensmann, in 1986; and her former husband, Kenneth Funk, in 1983.
Friends of the family may visit at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the family in memory of Mrs. Villa.
