Lucille M. Eaker of Libertyville
Memorial services for Lucille M. Eaker, 78, will be held at 3 p.m. next Friday, March 5, at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church, 125 W. Church St., Libertyville. The Rev. Jedediah D. Holdorph II will officiate.
Born Sept. 1, 1920, in Chicago, she passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at her home.
A former resident of Eugene, Ore., and Mundelein, Mrs. Eaker had lived in Libertyville since 1988. She was a member of St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Libertyville and a former employee of Marshall Field's at Hawthorn Center in Vernon Hills.
Surviving are her children, Virginia St. Claire and James Burke, both of Libertyville; grandchildren, Marc (Heidi) Lee and Matthew Lee, both of Indianapolis, Ind., and Anna Burke and Kristin Burke, both of Libertyville; sister, Ruth Sweeney of Eugene; and brother, Albert (Mary Alice) MacNaul of New Brunsfield, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Burke, in 1980; second husband, John Patrick Eaker, in 1988; and sister, Madge Lee.
Contributions in Mrs. Eaker's memory may be made to a charity of donor's choice.

Frida I. Ficzko of Algonquin
Services for Frida I. Ficzko, 73, formerly of the Bartlett-Hanover Park areas, will be held at 9 a.m. today, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee. The Rev. Marc N. Schwichtenberg will officiate.
Born Dec. 7, 1925, in Germany, to Paul and Alwine Krueger, she died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Bartlett Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Michael Ficzko; daughters, Marlis Galuski of Phoenix, Ariz., Maria (Antoni) Slonina of Hanover Park, Anita (Roman) Markowicz of Bloomingdale and Helena (Bruce) Lungstrom of Algonquin; sons, Martin Ficzko of California and Klaus (Diane) Ficzkoof Bartlett; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, John Ficzko.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until the time of services today, at the church.

William L. Fritz of Arlington Heights
Services for William L. Fritz, 84, will be held at noon Saturday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights.
Born Nov. 20, 1914, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
A salesman with General Binding Corp., retiring in 1980, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights. He was a veteran of World War II Army Air Force. He was a member of the DAV, VFW Post #981 and the Arlington Heights Merle Guild American Legion Post #280.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Anna May (nee Cox), whom he married on Aug. 7, 1954; children, William S. (Alanna) Fritz of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Meghan Fritz, Kristin Fritz, Kyle Weber and Kaitlyn Weber; and uncle of William K. Strand and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda May; and sister, Marie Strand Jackson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, at the funeral home.

James Ray `Jim' Garrett Jr. of Carpentersville
Services for James Ray `Jim' Garrett Jr., 18, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Carpentersville. The Rev. Robert Baker will officiate.
Born July 12, 1980, in Elgin, he died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
A lifelong resident of the Carpentersville area, Mr. Garrett was a 1998 graduate of Dundee-Crown High School.
Jim is survived by his mother, Sharon (Wayne) Schule of Carpentersville; father, James R. (Patricia) Garrett Sr. of Davis, Ill.; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Schule, Lindsay Revera, John Schule, Keith Thompson and Thomas Ptack; maternal grandparents, John and Betty Hamann of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; paternal grandparents, James and Kathryn Garrett of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Monday, at the church.
Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to the FISH Food Pantry.

Terence C. Hanrahan of East Dundee
Memorial services for Terence C. Hanrahan, 57, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of West Dundee. The Rev. Steven Simon and Frank Hewitt, DPM, will officiate.
Born July 28, 1941, in Chicago, to Charles and Rita (nee Platcher) Hanrahan, he died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at his home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Hanrahan had been a resident of the Dundee area for the past 15 years and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of West Dundee.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Nancy J. Hanrahan; daughters, Kelley Hanrahan and Karen (Matt Poppenroth) Hanrahan, both of Seattle, Wash.; son, Michael Hanrahan of Portland, Ore.; stepdaughter, Carrie (David) Beck of Lombard; stepson, William Hoffmann of Chicago; and grandchildren, Brittany, Randall and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation.

James P. Hansen of Lisle
James P. Hansen, 80, a resident of Lisle for 35 years, died Tuesday,Feb. 23, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
Mr. Hansen was born Jan. 31, 1919, in Chicago. He served for threeyears in the Army during World War II, two of those years overseas. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a construction worker and was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 6. He was also a member of American Legion Post 336 for 50 years and the Masonic Lodge West Englewood Home Lodge #1074 for 35 years.
He was the beloved husband for 51 years of Florence Hansen (nee Garthwaite). He also leaves a son, David (Lynn)Hansen; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was handled by BlakeLamb Funeral Home, Lisle. Remains were interred at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien.

Charles R. Hansen
A chapel service for Charles R. Hansen will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.), Roselle. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lucille; devoted father of Darlene L. (late John) Schmidt; dear brother of Helga Inglis; fond grandfather of Darise (Bill) Palesch, Danene (Matt) Bloch, Janay (Louis) Padron; and great-grandfather of Nicole and Paige Bloch.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, at the funeral chapel.

Oda M. Johnson of Buffalo Grove
Services for Oda M. Johnson (nee Miller), 92, formerly of Park Ridge,will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Rd.), Wheeling.
Born Aug. 12, 1906, in Aarhus, Denmark, she died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Long Grove Manor. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
She was the wife of the late Ransom Johnson; mother of Gordon (Judith) Johnson of Buffalo Grove; grandmother of Michelle Johnson, Michael (Kerri) and Matthew (Amy) Johnson; great-grandmother of two great-granddaughters; and sister of the late Lilly Beninghoff.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, at the funeral home.

Donald V. Sunne Johnson of Schaumburg
Services for Donald V. Sunne Johnson, 59, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington.
The Rev. Alvin Johnson will officiate.
Born Oct. 5, 1939, in Chicago, he passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23,1999, at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Luncheon will follow atthe church.
Mr. Johnson was a faithful member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, where he was a former brotherhood director and vestry member. Don was employed at Motorola for 36 years and was most recently a project manager in the Federal Systems Organization and a member of the elite Galvin Masters Organization. He was a chapter director of the Hoffman Estates US Too and a member of the national board of directors of US Too. In addition, he served in the Air National Guard.
Mr. Johnson was appointed Scout Master at the 1989 Boy Scout Jamboree and also served as chief of the Indian Guide and Princess program at the YMCA.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Johnson, whom he married Oct. 5, 1963, in Chicago; children, James Allen and Rebecca Ann Johnson, both of Schaumburg; and mother, Eva Johnson, 93, of Carpentersville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Johnson.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the church.
Memorials may be made to the US Too Organization, 930 N. York Road, Suite 50, Hinsdale, IL 60521-2993.

Elizabeth `Liz' Kee of Elgin
Memorial visitation for Elizabeth `Liz' Kee, 82, will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Born Jan. 22, 1917, in New Rochelle, N. Y., the daughter of Edwin and Bernardette Prouty, she died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at St. Alexius Hospital in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be private.
A member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #610 of Elgin, she is survived by her children, Suellen Redlin of Hampshire and Brandt (Judi) Redlin of Elgin; grandchildren, Caitlen Vick of Hampshire and Jessica Redlin of South Elgin; and sister-in-law, Roz Prouty of Tucson, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Redlin in 1975; brother, Chester Prouty; and sister, Jacquline Headley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin.
