She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Ada Mae Garner of Woodriver and Nellie Erwin of Carmi; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Carmi, with burial in Wolf Creek cemetery in Eldorado.

Audrey Webb
HARRISBURG — Audrey Webb, 93, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
Surviving are a son, Richard of Harrisburg; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Sunset Lawn cemetery.

HARRISBURG — Elizabeth Pankey, 93, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.
Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Headrick of Harrisburg; two sons, Donald of Harrisburg and Earl T. of Fayetteville; two sisters, Geneva Headrick of Harrisburg and Gladys Wiley of Carrier Mills; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and by a son, Frank D.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home, with burial in Palestine cemetery in Stonefort.

ENFIELD — Janella Nelson, 66, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She retired from Airtex in Fairfield and was a member of Burnt Prairie Eastern Star 500.
Surviving are a son, John of rural Enfield; five sisters, Dorothy Clevanger of Mill Shoals, Patty Larch of Argenta, Millie Stuhlman of Decatur, rebecca Lane of Fairfield and Rosie Simpson of Barnhill; six brothers, Kenneth Carter of Lancaster, Calif., Robert Carter of Enfield, Arthur Carter of Mantera, Calif., Danny Carter of Springfield, Gerald Carter of Greentown, Ind., and Richard Carter of Lafayette, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Daniel, Emilie and Matthew Nelson.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Elledge Funeral Home Enfield Chapel.
Julia Biggs
BRIDGEPORT — Julia “Judy” Biggs, 73, died Friday, May 5, 2000, at Lawrenceville Manor Nursing Home.
Surviving are her husband, Herschel I.; two daughters, Linda Julian and Patricia Limes, both of Bridgeport; a sister, Louella Hallwin of Bridgeport; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bridgeport City cemetery.

Bettie Herrin
KEENSBURG, Ill. — Bettie S. Scott Herrin, 54, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at her home of an apparent heart attack.
She worked as a security guard at PSI Indiana.
Surviving are her companion, Carl Herrin; her father, Tommie R. Cheshire of Caruthersville, Mo.; two sisters, Lisa Marie Deal of Kentucky and Glenda Spain of Beech Bluff, Tenn.; and three brothers, George Cheshire of Chester, Tommy Cheshire of Dickson, Tenn., and Larry Davenport of Beech Bluff.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Short Funeral Home in Mount Carmel.

MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. — Esthol Ray Harms, 73, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Veterans Hospital in Marion.
He worked as a pumper in crude oil production.
He was a member of the Light House Church in Mount Carmel.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Beasley); a daughter, Beverly Stuessel of Mount Carmel; a stepdaughter, Tammy Harms of Mount Carmel; a son, Mike of Mount Carmel; two stepsons, Mark Johns of Mount Carmel and David Johns of St. Francisville; two sisters, Betty Kelsey of Mount Carmel and Alice Wilkinson of Friendsville; two brothers, Pete of Mount Carmel and James of Monticello, Ind.; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

ROSICLARE, Ill. — Frances Gail Cullum, 49, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky., of cardiac failure.
Surviving are her husband, John A.; a daughter, Samantha (Cullum) Wellbourne of Rosiclare; a son, J.O., at home; a sister, Shirley Rushing of Burna, Ky.; and three brothers, Shelby, Carl and Donnie Curry, all of Harrisburg.

CARMI, Ill. — Velvie Cleveland, 74, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at White County Hospital of congestive heart failure.
She was a member of Gospel Temple Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Collard of Danville and Joyce Wolf of Carmi; six grandchildren, Denny Bartley, Elizabeth and Chad Baxley, Dexter Wolf, Sheila Brown and Michael Collard; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Clarence, died in 1976.

HARRISBURG, Ill. — Meredith Fox, 84, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was a member of Ingram Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Roger of Lake of Egypt and Tom of Harrisburg; a brother, Oral Partain of Harrisburg; three granddaughters, Angie Henk, Kim Schilling and Missy Sherrod; four stepgrandchildren, Johnny and Mike Coles, Billie Jo Crosby and Delman Mayhew; three great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Her husband, Ellis, died in 1995.

HARRISBURG, Ill. — Ella Pearl Threet, 93, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at her home.
She was a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Geraldine Bardos of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Sandy Martin, Chuck and Terry Hamlin and Trisha Hardin; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Isham, died in 1976 and a daughter, Ilogene Hamlin, died in 1982.
Dorcie Medlin
NEW HAVEN, Ill. — Dorcie L. Medlin, 93, died Saturday at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was a farmer, former township trustee and member of the Farm Bureau.
He was the oldest resident in New Haven, was known for his knowledge of local history and had been the first farmer in Gallatin County to have a corn picker.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva (Waller); a daughter, Mary Medlin of Louisville, Ky.; a son, Bill of New Haven; three grandchildren, Butch and Cathy Medlin and Connie Naas; and two great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Marie, died in 1985.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cox & Son Funeral Home New Haven Chapel, with burial in Union Ridge cemetery.
