Donald C. Osborne of St. Charles
Graveside services for Donald C. Osborne, 73, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Union Cemetery, St. Charles, with the Rev. Philip M. Dripps officiating.
Born June 13, 1925, in St. Charles, he died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Provena Geneva Care Center.
Mr. Osborne was a Master Mason of MasonicLodge Batavia #404, AF & AM. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau and the Pure Milk Association.
He is survived by a sister, Lois (James) McLaughlin of St. Charles; nephews, Rodney (Laura) Osborne and Robert (Janet) McLaughlin, both of St. Charels; nieces, Donna (David) Town of Elburn and Diane (Mark) Duncan of St. Charles; and two grandnephews, Ryan and Daniel Duncan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Osborne, in 1951; an infant sister, Alice; and a loving companion, Bo Duke.
There will not be a visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gertrude I. Peregrin (nee Lulinski), 76, a resident of South Bend, Ind. since July of 1998, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 115 Modaff Road, Naperville.
Born March 11, 1922, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999,at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery
Mausoleum, Wheaton.
Mrs. Peregrin was a retired executive secretary for Union Carbide in Chicago and a member of St. Raphael Church in Naperville.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa J. (John) Kovach of South Bend; granddaughters, Emily, Marina and Irina Kovach ofSouth Bend; sister, Loretta Blacerzak; and brother, Al Lulinski, both of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Peregrin, in 1993.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass Thursday, at the church.

Mrs. Pierce was employed as a secretary.
She was the wife of the late Robert T. Pierce; aunt of Thomas, Philip J. (Belinda) and Gerard (Jeanne) Wehrheim, Pamela W. (Daniel) Detzner, Patricia (Joseph) Martin and Wayne (Jackie) and Ralph (the late Julia) Tite; aunt of many grandnieces and grandnephews; and sister of the late Caroline Tite, Louis, Daniel and Ralph (Helen) Barbiere and Phyllis Wehrheim.

Mr. Whaley was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Darrah); loving father of Robert L. IV (Linda) Darrow, Debbie Darrow, Vicki Darrow MD (James McQuade MD) and Rob-Roy (Cindy) Darrow; dear grandfather of Thad, Heather, Heidi, Miriam and Amanda; and fond brother of Donald Darrow and Myra Davis.
