Irene M. Lelinske of St. Charles
A funeral Mass for Irene M. Lelinske, 88, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. John Neumann Church, 2900 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Born May 20, 1910, in Milwaukee, Wis., shedied Friday, March 5, 1999, at Pine View Care Center, St. Charles. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Adalbert Holy Trinity Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary (Roland) Lesniewski of St. Charles; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the church.

Mark Robert Lorkowski of Elgin
Prayers for Mark Robert Lorkowski, 20, will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/ Schaumburg, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Born Jan. 23, 1979, in Arlington Heights, hedied Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center.
Mark was a sophomore at Northern Illinois University and was a 1997 graduate of Streamwood High School.
He is survived by his parents, Michael S. and Joanne (nee Waclawik); brother, Michael J. Lorkowski; grandmothers, Charlotte Lorkowski and Ann Waclawik; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Sylvester Lorkowski and Joseph Waclawik.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Robert B. Matheson of Wildwood
Services for Robert B. Matheson, 83, will be held at noon Tuesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Born Nov. 6, 1915, in Chicago, he passed away Friday, March 5, 1999, at Westmont Care Facility in Westmont. Private interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
A resident of Wildwood since 1958, he retired in the early 1980s after a career in the tool and die industry.
He leaves his daughters, Nancy (Robert) Segroves of Downers Grove, Lois Elsbury of Wildwood, Susan (Donald) Adamson of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Debra Reuter of Anderson, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret in 1984; daughter, Barbara Orr in 1994; and son-in-law, Michael Elsbury in 1996.
Friends of the family may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Matheson.

Dona P. Nelson formerly of Elgin
Memorial services and interment for Dona P. Nelson, 89, were held in LaPorte, Ind.
Born July 15, 1909, Mrs. Nelson passed away Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte.
A 1952 graduate of Elgin High School, she was a longtime employee of both Joseph Spiess and Block & Kuhl Deparment Stores.
Survivors include her son, David A. Nelson of Woodland, Calif.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver; and son, Thomas of South Bend, Ind.

Eric W. Oswald of Glen Ellyn
Services for Eric W. Oswald, 96, will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, at WilliamsKampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton.
Born Dec. 22, 1902, in Berlin, Germany, to Karl and Marie Oswald, he passed away Friday, March 5, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
Mr. Oswald had been a resident of Glen Ellyn for 47 years. A tool and die maker by trade, he had remained active as the CEO of his company, Chicago Mold Engineering Company, Inc. of St. Charles.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred Oswald; loving father of sons, Erik Richard (Audrey) Oswald of Elburn and Ralph Edward (Betsy) Oswald of Winfield, and daughter, Diane (Jim) Green of Winfield; dear grandfather of eight; and great-grandfather of three. He was also the fond brother of Bruno Oswald of Berlin.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Robert W. D. Overly of Des Plaines
Services for Robert W. D. Overly, 75, formerly of Wadsworth,will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St. Des Plaines.
Born May 27, 1923, in Columbus, Ohio, he died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at Bethany Terrace in Morton Grove. Interment will be private.
Mr. Overly had retired as Chief Warrant Officer 4, after 30 years of service from the U. S. Navy and had served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietname War. He was a member of the Cassin Young Association in Boston, Mass., a past president of the John A. Bole Association, and a member of the Buoys and Belles Square Dance Club, The Retired Officers Association and the United Methodist Church in Zion.
He was the beloved husband of Betty J. Overly (nee Ross); loving father of Lynne (Jeffrey) Nakashima of Glen Ellyn, Debra (Julian) Fritts of Des Plaines, Elizabeth (Michael) Uhle of Morton Grove and the late Laura and Leslie Overly; proud grandfather of Jennifer, Amy, Christopher, Daniel, Samantha, Jessica and Taylor; and dear brother of Dorothy O. (Robert R.) Stinson of Granville, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rainbow Hospice or to the United Methodist Church in Zion.

Marianne E. Pacini of Mount Prospect
A funeral Mass for Marianne E. Pacini (nee Ceriale), 59, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Raymond Church, Elmhurst Road (Route 83) and Lincoln Street, Mount Prospect.
Born March 14, 1939, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nev. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of Lawrence Pacini; loving mother of Michele (Richard) Bartoszewski, Laura (David) Triana, Renee (Arturo) Ayala, Angelo (Lisa) Pacini and Victor Pacini; proud grandmother of Megan, Christina and Heather Bartoszewski, David and Stephanie Triana, Andrea and Alyssa Ayala, and Natalie, Marissa and Max Pacini; dear sister of James (Dianne) Ceriale and Roberta (Thomas) Clinger; and fond niece of Benedetta Ceriale, Genevieve Ceriale and Elvira Klouthis.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, at the church.

Charles M. Palmer of Lincolnshire
Memorial services for Charles M. Palmer, 65, will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Born July 15, 1933, in Chicago, he died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at his home.
A longtime resident of Lake County, Mr. Palmer was a retired teacher of speech and drama at North Chicago High School.
He did his undergraduate studies at Lake Forest College and received advanced degrees from Northern Illinois University and Natonal Lewis College. Mr. Palmer was also an Army veteran. In addition, he was a member of U. R. P. and an avid golfer.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon Palmer (nee Cummins); dear son of Michael and Candida Palmer of Peoria, Ariz.; loving father of Lisa (Michael) Padula of Gurnee; proud grandfather of Sarah and Anthony Padula; and dear brother of Roger (Lynne) Palmer of Lake Bluff.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Condell Medical Center Hospice or to the American Liver Foundation of Illinois, 225 W. Washington St., Chicago, IL 60606.

Patricia Porst of Arlington Heights
Prayers for Patricia Porst (nee Hayes), 86, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd.
Born March 23, 1912, in Chicago, she died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, in Oaklawn Cemetery, Sturgis, Mich.
She was the wife of the late Fred; mother of Bob (Karen) of McCormick, S. C., Judy Porst of Arlington Heights and Jim of Plano, Texas; grandmother of Mark, Tom, Dan, Kathy Gehrig, Anne, Jennifer, Rich, Jim and Michael; great-grandmother of seven; and sister of Rev. Fr. John Hayes and the late Edmund.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Virginia E. Putman of Lake Zurich
Memorial services for Virginia E. Putman, 90, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church St., Lake Zurich.
Born Aug. 8, 1908, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Lake Zurich. Burial will be private.
A member of St. Peter United Church of Christ for more than 35 years, she was active in the choir, womens guild, Good Shepherd Auxiliary and the Lake Zurich Womens Club.
She was the wife of the late Elger D. Sr.; mother of Elger D. (LaVerne) Jr. and the late Lucretia O. (James)Johnson; grandmother of William (Kimberly), Lon (Christine) Johnson, Donald, Linnae (Mark) Babick and Lucretia (William) Deuerling; and great-grandmother of nine.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter United Church of Christ.
