William C. Geremia Jr. of Vernon Hills
Prayers for William C. Geremia Jr., 47, will be said at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of Vernon Church.
Born May 27, 1951, in Providence, R. I., he died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
Mr. Geremia was a medical claims adjuster. He was a member of St. Mary of Vernon Parish in Vernon Hills and a past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus.
He was the husband of Lucille J. (nee Manno); father of Michael and Christopher Geremia and the late Terese; son of William and Elena; brother of Stephen (Deborah); and brother-in-law of Frances (Thomas Myers) Manno-Myers.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Arrangements were made by Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 N. Belmont, Chicago.

Jean A. Hanetho of Prospect Heights for 36 years
Services for Jean A. Hanetho (nee Leidiger), 62, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington.
She will liein state from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Born March 17, 1936, in Chicago, she died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery.
A homemaker, she was the wife of Robert; mother of Bonnie (Stan) Lipinski, Dawn (Brian) Karp and Beth (Bob) Cozza; sister of Ron (Kathy) Leidiger; and grandmother of Michelle, Brian, Jessica, Ross, Bobby, Stacey and Alexa.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect.
Memorials may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, Inc., or the Prospect Heights Lions Club Scholarship Fund.

Virginia L. Hegstrom of Elgin
Funeral services for Virginia L. Hegstrom, 66, will be held at noon Monday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Elgin. The Rev. Paul Hayes will officiate.
Born Jan. 18, 1933, in Chicago, the daughter of Julius and Dorothy Cameron Wessel, she passed away Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Asta Care Center. Burial will be private.
Virginia had been employed by Masonite in West Chicago prior to her retirement. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Literacy Connection, and a former member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Eagles.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth L. Hegstrom of Crystal Lake; brother, Julius (Kathleen) Wessel of Sheboygan, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Neal Wessel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, and from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Literacy Connection or the Anderson Animal Shelter.

Margaret J. Holm of Des Plaines
Visitation for Margaret J. Holm, 71, will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge.
Born Aug. 24, 1927, in Chicago, she died Monday, March 8, 1999, at her home. Interment will be private.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late William; mother of David and James of Des Plaines; sister of William (the late Olivia) Mason; and aunt of Scott, Mark, Cyndy and Pam.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Janet Jones of Buffalo Grove
Memorial services for Janet Jones (nee Day), 55, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee Rd., Buffalo Grove. A family visitation will be held at 10 a.m.
Born May 13, 1943, in Chicago, she died Friday, March 5, 1999, in Buffalo Grove.
She was the beloved wife of Stanley A. Jones; loving mother of Kimberly (Craig) Meyer and Jill (Thomas) Nailor; dear grandmother of Nicole and Ashley Meyer; and fond sister of Jean (Robert) Fisher, Carol (Toby) Baumgartner and William Day Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Janet Jones' name may be made to the Aplastic Anemia Foundation, P. O. Box 613, Annapolis, MD 21404 or Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee Rd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.

Harvey Knake formerly of Elgin
Graveside services for Harvey Knake, 90, most recently of Belleair, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born in Palatine, he passed away Wednesday, March10, 1999, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.
While residing in Elgin, Mr. Knake owned Harvey's Barber shop and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He moved to Florida in 1979, where he was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Largo.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myrtle E.; sons, James Knake of Los Angeles, Calif. and Robert Knake of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Adelia Tatge of Elgin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Stout-Madison Funeral Home, Elgin.

William Kilpatrick Lambie Jr., of Glen Ellyn, died Thursday, March 11, 1999. Arrangements were made by Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, Wheaton, (630) 668-0016.

Helen A. Larson of Batavia
Memorial services for Helen A. Larson, 87, of The Holmstad in Batavia, formerly of Chicago and Flossmoor, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at The Holmstad's Ahlstrand Chapel. The Rev. Donna Nelson and the Rev. Mark Nilson will officiate.
Born Jan. 19, 1912, in Chicago, to Jalmar and Anna (nee Hedberg) Larson, she passed away Friday, March 5, 1999, at Michealsen Health Care Center, Batavia. Burial was in Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago.
Helen was a graduate of the Chicago Teachers College and Northwestern University. She was a school teacher and an adjustment teacher (guidance counselor) for 34 years in the Chicago Public School System. Also a gifted musician, she was a 30-year member of the Chicago Swedish Choral Club and an organist and former choir director for her church. In addition, Helen enjoyed traveling, serving as a camp counselor, and working with crafts.
She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Batavia.
Surviving are her sister, Verna Mae Larson of Batavia, and many cousins and dear friends, including Inez Olander of Batavia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace J. Larson, and sister, Genevieve Larson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Princeton Covenant Children's Home, 502 Elm Place, Princeton, IL 61356, or to the Good Samaritan Fund, c/o The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia, IL 60510.

Anna `Annie' Lomedico of Elgin
A funeral Mass for Anna `Annie' Lomedico, 90, formerly of Old Town, Carpentersville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Michael Morrissey will officiate.
Born Nov. 1, 1908, in New Haven, Conn., the daughter of Guiseppe and Angelina (nee Borelli) Maisto, she passed away Tuesday, March 9, 1999. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery.
She was a member of St. Catherine Church in Dundee until 1959, when she moved to Elgin then becoming a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Prior to her marriage to John B. Lomedico on June 12, 1932, Annie was employed in the business office of the Boston Store in the Chicago Loop. She later was employed as a seamstress in the garment industry for 32 years, retiring in 1973 after many year of employment at the Brody Coat Company.
Survivors include her daughter, Angeline (Gerald) Hajner of Elgin; son, John Lomedico of Elgin; and brother, Joseph Maisto of Elgin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John on March 6, 1969; sister, Virginia Maisto at age 4; brothers, Anthony at age 2 and Anthony II in infancy, and James and Nicholas Maisto.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin.
Memorials may be made to St. Catherine's Church in Dundee, St. Joseph's Church in Elgin or the charity of your choice.

Thomas E. McCoy of Elgin
Services for Thomas E. McCoy, 77, formerly of Streamwood, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Rev. Father John R. Stieper will officiate.
Born Nov. 17, 1921, in Pennsylvania, the son of John and Ann McCoy, he died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the Carrington Care Center. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was a resident of Streamwood, having worked for the Village of Streamwood.
Thomas was a veteran serving in the Marines, and was a member and past commander of the VFW #5151 in Streamwood.
Survivors include his son, Thomas A. (Heide) McCoy of Elgin; grandchildren, Lucas and Shane McCoy; and three sisters in Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Georgia in 1982.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services Monday, at the funeral home.

Eva Mae Morgan of North Aurora
Funeral services for Eva Mae Morgan, 94, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, with Pastor Steve Shaw officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Linnwood Cemetery in Galesburg, Ill. Pastor Birger Draget will officiate.
Born Jan. 6, 1904, in Raritan, Ill., to George W. and Lelah Tally (nee Tilly), she passed away Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at Provena Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora.
Eva was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Galesburg on July 3, 1943. She joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church in North Aurora in May of 1964. Eva worked for Geneva Hospital for 14 years in the dietary. She had a love for dogs, and was known for telling stories of riding herhorse to school when she was a young girl.
She is survived by her three nieces, Barbara Forrest of Dallas, Texas, Karen Koopman of Highwood, Ill. and Karen Orman of Pueblo, Colo.; cousins, Lenora Hayes of Mesa, Ariz. and Donald Cunningham of Galesburg; and special friend, Ethel Madera of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Lelah Morgan; son, Ronald Miller; brother, Roy Tally; and two sisters, Aleta Arborgast and Pauline Hunter.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services Sunday, at the funeral home.

Frank L. Murphy, 98, of Lombard, died Thursday, March 11, 1999. Arrangements were made by Knollcrest Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 932-1500.

Walter D. Nazlian of Schaunburg
Services for Walter D. Nazlian, 88, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.
Born Feb. 15, 1911, in Turkey, he died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
He was the husband of Virginia (nee Sarkisian); father of the late Walter Jr. and the late Ray (Linda); and grandfather of Brian and Heather.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Gregory Armenian Church, 6700 W. Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
