James B. Donohue formerly of Burlington
Services for James B. Donohue, 90, of Marengo, formerlyof Burlington, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Burlington United Methodist Church with the Rev. Soon Sun Lee officiating.
Born July 5, 1908, in St. Louis, Mo., to John and Julia (nee Moran) Donohue, he died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Florence Nursing Home in Marengo. Burial will be in Burlington Union Cemetery.
A veteran, Mr. Donohue had served in the Coast Guard from 1927 to 1930. He was employed for 17 years by the Federal Barge Lines, operating on the Mississippi River. He then worked for the Illinois State Police as a radio supervisor for 21 years. From 1965 to1969 he also served the U. S. State Department Agency for International Development in Amman, Jordan.
Mr. Donohue was a 66-year member of Genoa Masonic Lodge #288 A. F. & A. M., the DeKalb Chapter #52 Royal Arch Masons, Sycamore Commandery #15 Knights Templar, Rockford Council #30 Royal and Select Masters, and the Tabala Shrine of Rockford. He attended Burlington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Bernice E. Donohue (nee Green), whom he married March 12, 1931, in Mobile, Ala.; sons, Richard (Barbara) Donohue of Mound City, Kan., formerly of Sycamore, and Alan (Jane) Donohue of Old Saybrook, Conn.; daughter, Joan (Vern) Engel of Marengo; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Dare of Houston, Texas.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Henry; and sister, Margaret.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Burlington United Methodist Church.
Arrangements were made by Fredrick Funeral Home, Hampshire.

James M. Doohan of Oak Park
Mass for James M. Doohan, 82, formerly of Chicago, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Raymond Church, Elmhurst Road (Route 83) and Lincoln St., Mount Prospect.
Born Sept. 20, 1916, in Chicago, he died Saturday, March 20, 1999, in Oak Park.
Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Mr. Doohan, a Marine veteran of World War II, was employed by Sears, Roebuck and Company prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his nephew, James (Mary) Barrett and niece, Elizabeth Barrett (Robert) Reda.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Friedrich Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect.

Lawrence R. Dunne of Schaumburg
Prayers for Lawrence R. Dunne, 48, will be held at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Hubert Catholic Church.
Born July 8, 1950, in Washington D. C., he died Friday, March 19, 1999, at his home, after a year-long battle with lung cancer. Interment will be in Provost Cemetery, Alberta, Canada.
Mr. Dunne graduated from Stamford (Connecticut) High School in 1968. He attended Georgetown University and graduated Cum Laude in 1975. He joined United Airlines and quickly rose through the ranks, holding several executive sales and marketing postitions. In 1993 he joined Galileo Corporation at Director of Worldwide Sales.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joan(nee Gaida); daughters, Lauren and Erin; brothers, Ed Dunne of Denver, Colo. and Bob (Debbie) Dunne of Portland, Oregon; sister, Marilyn (Jerome) Dunne Wiley of Bellingham, Wash.; stepparents, Bill and Sally Ryan; and many niecesand nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Angelo A. Farinella of Roselle
Prayers for Angelo A. Farinella, 74, will be said at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca, continuing to St. Walter Church for an11 a.m. Mass.
Born Dec. 16, 1924, in Chicago, he died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Mr. Farinella was employed by Zurich Insurance Companyprior to his retirement.
He was the husband of Rose (nee Respino); father of Joseph A. (Barbara [nee Bartnick]); grandfather of Lisa and Jennifer; brother of Sam (Yolanda), Carl (Dolores) and Joseph (Yolanda) Farinella and the late Anthony, Anne Marie and Michael Taschetta; special nephew of the late Angela Graziano; brother-in-law of Benny (Margaret) Respino, Carmen (Geraldine) Respino, Anthony (Mildred) Respino and the late August (Antoinette) Respino;and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Mark Steven Fuller of Round Lake
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mark Steven Fuller will be celebratedat 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Gilberts Church, Grayslake.
Mr. Fuller passed away Thursday, March 18, 1999.
Mark was a member of Carpenter's Union Local #250 and also a member of the Lake County Music Club. He was employed by Blinderman Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Sosinski); son, Simon Fuller of England; stepsons, Robert, Kevin and Christopher Kolar; mother, Leona Fuller of Arizona; many brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very best friend, `Suge. ' He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and brother, Michael.
Friends and family may visit today from 6 to 9 p. m at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.

Louise C. Ganek of St. Charles
Funeral services for Louise C. Ganek, 87, formerly of La Grange and Kenosha, Wis., will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles. The Rev. Stanley Staniszewski will officiate.
Born Sept. 19, 1911, in Chicago, she died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Pineview Care Center in St. Charles. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien.
For more than 20 years, Mrs. Ganek worked for Prudential Life Insurance in La Grange as an office manager.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Carol) of Andover, Mass. and Larry (Christine) of St. Charles; sister, Teckla Arp of Woodridge, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Annie and Aaron Ganek of Andover, Mass.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R.; her parents; and two brothers, Stanley and John Grybos.

Veronica Granito
Prayers for Veronica Granito, 58, of Chicago, will be said at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen Church.
Born Oct. 6, 1940, in Chicago, she died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lena Granito, she is survived by her sister, Gloria (Robert) Nelson.

Irvin H. Guenther formerly of Arlington Heights
Services for Irvin H. Guenther, 84, of Monona, Wis., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights.
The Rev. Paul Quakenbush will officiate.
Born March 8, 1915, in Niles Center, to Arthur and Anna (nee Roehl) Guenther, he died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at the Karmenta Center, Madison, Wis., following a long illness. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Guenther was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy. Prior to his retirement, he had owned a business with his brother.
Survivors include his son, Ron (Esther) Guenther of Rock Falls; grandchildren, Dale Guenther of Palatine and Robin Guenther at home; brothers, Ray (Adeline) Guenther of Mountain Home, Ark., Bob (Vernette) Guenther of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Don (Villera) Guenther of Palatine, Vern (Jean) Guenther of Palatine and Wally Guenther (friend Flo) of Palatine; sisters, Dorothy Brockman of Belvidere and Ruth (Clarence) Vogt of Palatine; special friend, Jackie Cairns; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marion D. Guenther (nee Ross), whom he married Oct. 4, 1941; son Dale Guenther; sister, Helen; and brother, Art.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, 5801 Highway 51, McFarland, Wis., and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.

Jon W. Hauser of Geneva
Memorial services for Jon W. Hauser, 82, formerly of St. Charles, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, St. Charles, with the Rev Philip M. Dripps officiating.
Born June 8, 1916, in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., he died Saturday evening, March 20, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva. Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
Mr. Hauser graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit in 1934. Following graduation, he went to work for General Motors, becoming the youngest designer employed by the company. After working in the automotive industry, he moved to Oak Park and became director of design for Sears. He then became a consultant for other design firms before starting his own company, Jon W. Hauser Inc. (presently Hauser Design Inc.).
Jon was a member and past president of the board of trustees at Delnor Community Hospital in St. Charles, as well as a lifelong member and past president of the Delnor Community Men's Foundation, past president of Industrial Designers Institute, past chairman of the board of the Industrial Designers Society of America, and then served on the board of directors of the State Bank of St. Charles. He was also a member of the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church of St. Charles, St. Charles Country Club, Unity 48, A. F.
and A. M., Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Chicago, Medinah Temple, Chicago, and the Fox Valley Shrine Club. He was a licensed pilot and amember of the Experimental Aircraft Association, as well as being a Q. B. Jon was also a visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana during the late seventies.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Jon W. Hauser II; brother, Kenneth (Wilma) Hauser of California; sisters, Prudence Lathrop of California and Lois Simonsof Florida; granddaughters, Bridget of Chicago and Jessica of Geneva; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry; and two sisters, Avis LaLeche and Philis Hauser.
There will not be a visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Baker Memorial United Methodist Church or the Delnor Community Health Care Foundation, Geneva.
