LenaBelle Kapelke of Wauconda
Services for LenaBelle Kapelke, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Born Nov. 24, 1919, in Brice, Texas, she died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Burial will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
A 42-year resident of Wauconda, Mrs. Kapelke was the past president of the Wauconda-Island Lake Seniors and Wauconda Grandparents Club. She was a former cook at Crook's Restaurant in Wauconda, and a former employee of T. V. Labs, J & R Circuit of Wauconda and R. A. Briggs of Lake Zurich. Mrs. Kapelke was a volunteer with the WaucondaIsland Lake Senior Services and Wauconda Federated Church.
Surviving are her children, Glenna Faye (Thomas) Rorke of Holyoke, Mass., Donna Kapelke (Sonny) Gritzuk of Spring Grove, Betty (Jerald) Denk of Wauconda, Bonnie (Donovan) Torgerson of Crystal Lake, Connie Gotsch of Wauconda, Carol (Larry) Stirsman of Island Lake, Carl (Carolyn) of Wauconda, Ellen (late Cecil) Headley of Hayward, Wis. and Lawrence (Susanne) of Island Lake; 51 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-inlaw, Helen Kapelke and Hanna Foley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in deathby her husband, Ernest; granddaughter, Jennifer; brothers, Mark and Ed; parents, Eugene and Sylvesta Shearer; and adopted mother, Marlene Wise.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice or the Lupus Foundation.

William F. Kenney of Wheaton
Services for William F. Kenney, 74, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Michael Church, 315 W. Illinois St., Wheaton.
He died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Edward Hospital, Naperville. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
Mr. Kenney had been a resident of Wheaton for 30 years. A Navy veteran of World War II, he had received five battle stars. Mr. Kenney had been the owner of Kenney Exterior Products on Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago for 35 years and was a longtime member of the Northwest Builders Association. Among his personal interests, he was an avid golfer.
He was the beloved husband of Lillian Kenney (nee Rogers); loving father of William (Diana), John and Michael Kenney, Jill (John) Keogh, Lynette (Russell) Mobley and Mary Kay (the late James) Walsh; devoted grandfather of Daniel, Laura, Matthew, Kyle, Kelly, Michael and the late David; fond brother of Kevin (Phyllis) Kenney, and the late Charles (the lateLaverne), Robert Kenney and Sybill (the late Earl) Willingham; dear brother-in-law of James (Rosemary) Rogers, Patricia (Richard) Griffin and the late Marion (James) Hagen; and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Charles C. Kordecki of Hawthorn Woods
Services for Charles C. Kordecki, 75, will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, at A. K. Barnett Funeral Home, 29 E. Route 45, Vernon Hills.
Born Dec. 25, 1923, in Chicago, he died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Condell Medical Center. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Kordecki was a retired machine operator. He was a member of St. Mary of Fremont Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Kordecki (nee Colseth); daughter, Diane Schuett of Hawthorn Woods; grandchildren, Heather and Nicole; brother, Leonard Kordecki of Chicago; and sisters, Elanor (Herchel) Wheeler of Chicago, Helen (Charles) Sands of Chicago and Bernice (Chester) Syperski of Chicago.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

David G. Logan of Mundelein
A memorial service for David G. Logan, 57, will be held at noon Wednesday, at Community Protestant Church, 418 N. Prairie Ave., Mundelein. Rev. Kenneth Press will officiate.
Born July 3, 1941, in West Monterray, Pa., he died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; children, Mitchell Logan of Mundelein, Patty (Ken) Delozier of Mundelein, Joanne Logan of Mundelein, Jose (Maricarmen) Montes of Mundelein, Paty (Gabriel) Moreno of Florida and Rosa (Gustavo) Ortiz of Mexico; mother, Freda Rhodes of Pennsylvania; brother, Jon (Rhoda) Logan of Pennsylvania; sisters, Bonnie (Lee) Hostetler of Pennsylvania, Ruth Ann (Kenny) Cooper of Pennsylvania and Thelma (James) Stevenson of Connecticut; and grandchildren, Nicole, Erika, Edgar, David, Katie, Kevin and Danielle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron GilesLogan; and stepfather, James Rhodes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake County Forest Preserve, 2000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048.

Dr. Frank M. Lorimer of Carol Stream
Services for Dr. Frank M. Lorimer, 84, formerly of Elmhurst and Wheaton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Faith Baptist Church, 27 W 010 Parkway Drive, Winfield.
Born Jan. 17, 1915, in Montrose, Colo., he died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Gardens, Oakbrook Terrace, following the services.
Dr. Lorimer received his medical degree from Ohio State University. He served as a doctor in World War II and after the war specialized in psychiatry.
He became the first psychiatrist in DuPage County when he started his practice in Elmhurst. Later he also worked as a forensic psychiatrist in the Cook County court systems. Dr. Lorimer was also an examining psychiatrist at Stateville Penitentiary in Joliet and a volunteer with the Dyslexia Clinic in Chicago and with Family Services in Glen Ellyn. In addition he was a published author in psychiatric journals and chief of research at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Knoxville, Iowa. Among his other interests he was a gardening enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lorimer; children, Judy (Don) Ross, Edward, Cynthia, John (Cathy), Rich (Susan), and Tom Lorimer, Jeanette (Bob) Reynhout, Louise (Dave) Meyers and Ruth (Jim) Newcomb; and 17 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty (Paul) Currie and Becky (Elwyn) Stafford.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Frank A. Lorimer; and brothers, Robert and Collins Lorimer.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.

Anthony O. `Tony' Loro of Naperville since Jan. 1999
Services for Anthony O. `Tony' Loro, 73, formerly of the Sandwich, Ill. area, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
Born Feb. 16, 1926, in Chicago, he died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Chicago. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
Mr. Loro was born on Chicago's west side. He attended Washburn Trade School for two years before being drafted during World War II. Mr. Loro served in the Army occupational forces in Japan and Okinawa. He married his wife, Frances in 1950. Mr. Loro was employed for more than 40 years by J. S. Adams Company in Des Plaines, as a carpenter. He was a member of Local #1539. Mr. Loro lived in the Sandwich area for many years. Mr. Loro had many interests including gardening, taxidermy, the outdoors and writing. He was a collector of rare and unique items.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Frances (nee Calabrese) Loro of Naperville; children, Marc (Judith) Loro of Springfield, Ill., Michael Loro of Naperville, Jacquelyn (Dr. Perry) Rossino of Aurora andAllison (Adam Todd) Craft of Oswego; grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew and Nicholas Rossino of Aurora, and Chloe and Anthony Craft of Oswego; four brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Irene Loro; and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mary L. Martinez of Elgin
Visitation for Mary L. Martinez (nee Ruiz), 69, will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Wait Ross Allanson Funeral Chapel, Elgin.
Born Sept. 14, 1929, in Elgin, she died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Burial will be private.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Women's Club of the church and the Jayne Shover Rehabilitation Center Candy Bone Stroke Club.
She leaves her husband, Paul, whom she married in 1943; sons, Paul Jr. (Laura) Martinez of Gurnee, Edward Martinez and Daniel Martinez, both of Elgin; daughters, Anne (Arthur) Langlo of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Frances (Carl) Roza and Linda Martinez, both of Elgin; brothers, Ralph (MaryEllen) Ruiz of Sun City, Ariz. and Jessie Ruiz of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Lupe Martinez of Elgin, Cora Alvarez of Elgin and Josie Hofferbur of Palatine; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her cats, Mickey and Bunny.

Marissa C. Mendoza of Elgin
Services for Marissa C. Mendoza, age 6 months, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Born Sept. 2, 1998, in Elgin, to Miguel and Rachel Mendoza, she passed away Saturday, March 20, 1999, at her home.
Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
Survivors include her parents of Elgin; brother, Miguel Jr. at home; maternal grandmother, Maxine Nordbrock (Tim) Layton of Gilberts; paternal grandparents, Miguel and Diane Mendoza of Elgin; two aunts; two uncles; and four cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles Nordbrock, in 1990.

Florence `Betty' Nelson
Private funeral services will be held for Florence `Betty' Nelson, 86, of Bartlett.
Born June 14, 1912, in Brockton, Mass., she passed away Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Surviving are her son, Charles Nelson of Elgin; and grandchildren, Brad Nelson of Chicago, Mike Nelson of Carol Stream and Chad Nelson of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nelson, in 1977; and son, Emery C. Nelson.
There will be no visitation.
