Willard L. `Bill' McClanahan of Ingleside
A celebration of the life of Willard L. `Bill' McClanahan, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake, followed by a reception athis home from 4 to 6 p.m.
Mr. McClanahan died Monday, March 15, 1999, at his home.
He is survived by his best friend, Gerald Moore; niece, Michelle (Robert) Engle of Ingleside; sister-in-law, Nancee (the late Robert) of Toluca; nephews, Mark (Arleen) of Toluca and Mike of Wenona; and two great-nephews.

Dr. Patricia Ellen Meister of Wheaton
Services for Dr. `Pat' Meister, 47, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary, Wheaton.
Born Sept. 11, 1951, in Bremen, Ind., she died Monday, March 22, 1999, at home.
Dr. Meister was a chiropractor for 25 years and, together with her husband, ran the Meister Chiropractic Clinic in Winfield. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton and actively involved at the Women's Bible Study Coffee Group at Evangel Baptist. She was also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the National College of Chiropractic Alumni Association, a diplomateof the American Academy of Pain Management, and a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
Surviving are her husband, Enn Meister; children, Erika, Melissa, Derek and Jared; parents, Eldonand Dorothy Swank of Palmetto, Fla.; brother, Michael (Brenda) Swank; mother-in-law, Bernice Meister of Largo, Fla.; and sister-in-law, Anna Hiltenbrand of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by three uncles and three aunts.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.

Leona A. Metzler of Lake Bluff
A graveside service for Leona A. Metzler, 75, formerly of Mundelein and a resident of Wauconda for most of her life, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Randhill Park Cemetery
in Palatine.
Born Aug. 4, 1923, in Peoria, she passed away Friday, March 19, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Mrs. Metzler was a member of Living Waters Holiness Church in Lake Villa.
Surviving are her sons, David (Kimberly) Metzler of Round Lake and Marlin (Michelle) Metzler of Zion; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Marlene, Adele and Cicily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Helen Henning; and her husband, Albert, on June 10, 1986.

John Miterko of Streamwood
John Miterko, 79, a 40-year resident of Streamwood, passed away Monday, March 22, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1919, in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Caroline M. Miterko (nee Cuba); son, Michael Miterko; daughters, Debi (Frank) Gonzalez and Bobbi Miterko; and grandchildren, Krista, John, Eliza-beth, Guillermo and Rebecca.

James E. Nichol of Elgin
Private memorial services for James E. Nichol, 53, will be held on Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Thomas Atamian will officiate.
Born May 13, 1945, in Elgin, to Benjamin and Phyllis Nichol, he died Monday, March 22, 1999, at the Illinois Veterans Home in La Salle, Ill. Burial will be private.
Mr. Nichol was a lifelong resident of Elgin and had been employed by Continental Can Company. A veteran, he had served in the Navy. He was a member of St. Hugh of Lincoln Episcopal Church of Elgin.
Surviving are his parents of Elgin; sisters, Kay (Jerry) Marks and Sue (Scott) Meyer, both of Houston, Texas; brothers, John Nichol of Elgin and David Nichol of South Elgin; nephews, Zachary and Alexander Meyer and Daniel (Kristen) Skelley; and great-niece, Sydney Skelley.

Elizabeth `Betty' Palazzo a 13-year resident of Glen Ellyn
Funeral services for Elizabeth `Betty' Palazzo, 84, formerly of Chicago's west side, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, and continue to St. James the Apostle Church, Glen Ellyn, for a 10 a.m. Mass.
She died at her home Monday, March 22, 1999. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery

For the past years, she had been employed by the Glen Ellyn Jewel.
She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony; dear mother of Joseph (Mary Anne), Anthony (Martha) and Joan (Joseph); dear grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 16; and fond sisterof Sadie Oliveri, Ann (Joseph) Wolfe, John, WIlliam, Phyllis Perfetti, Connie DiCicco, Thomas, and the late Joseph, Frank and Anthony LaVechia.

Ms. Rusin, a candy maker, was a loyal employee of Mars Candy Company for 47 years.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Felix and Anna Rusin; devoted aunt of Cynthia Brown, Mark Rusin, Darlene Scelsa, Charlene Leo and the late Wayne Rusin; and fond sister of Irene Leo and the late Benjamin, Stephen and Matthew Rusin.

Mrs. Taus was a resident of Church Creek Commons in Arlington Heights.
Prior to her retirement she had worked as a secretary for more than 30 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Taus; cherished daughter of the late John and Freida Dix; dear sister of Francis (Dorothy) Dix, Ralph (Agnes) Dix and the late Agnes, Freida, John, Ann, Fred, Paul, Edward and Regina; and fond aunt of 28 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Paul D. Veatch of Batavia
Funeral services for Paul D. Veatch, 74, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church, 227 East Side Dr., Geneva, with a reception to follow.
Born March 26, 1925, in Chicago, he died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood. Interment will be private.
Mr. Veatch was a veteran of World War II, having served in the 24th Infantry Division, and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. A member of Geneva American Legion #75, he was a graduate of University of Illinois and Stanford University, and was a former 30-year employee of Equitable.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (nee Hayes); children, PaulJr. (Pat), Randy (Jean) and David (Mary Lynn); and grandchildren, Maren, Sara Jean, Lisa, Katie, Ryan, Kyle and Kevin.
There will not be a visitation.

Frank N. White of Prospect Heights

Born July 24, 1922, in London, Ontario, Canada, he died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at the Lutheran Home for the Aged.
Mr. White was a retired damage estimator for State Farm Insurance Company for more than 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lois (nee Chirpe); daughters, Ruth Ann McClinton and Patricia (Howard) Nolte; and brother, Clarence White.
