Alice Bernice Williams of Batavia
Funeral services for Alice Bernice Williams, 81, will be held at 11. m. Tuesday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
Born April 17, 1917, the daughterof August and Bertha Maves, she died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at home. Burial will be in River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
Alice was united in marriage to Albert Williams on June 29, 1940. She was a member of Faith Church of the Brethren in Batavia. She was very gifted with a needle and thread and enjoyed making beautiful gifts for her family.
Alice is survived by her daughters, Loxie of Batavia and Corrine (William) Clever of North Aurora; granddaughters, Robyn (Paul) Anderson and Jennifer (Ed) Bernal; great-granddaughter, Brittany Anderson and one unborn great-grandchild of North Aurora; brother, Harold Maves of Batavia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert in 1980; and brother Clinton Maves.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials in Alice's name may be made to the Fox Valley Hospice, 1245 Corporate Blvd., Aurora, IL 60504.

Richard D. Bieniek of Wheeling
Prayers for Richard D. Bieniek, 63, will be said at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Wheeling.
Born in Chicago, he died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at home surrounded by his family. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Employed by Lehigh Press of Elk Grove Village, Mr. Bieniek was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus Regina Council and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen (nee Blacklaw); children, Richard (Wendy), Katherine (Roy) Carr, Sabrina, Krystyne and Ariana; sister, Bernice Haisch; grandchildren, Christopher, Richard, Kenton, Eric and Treavor; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Anna C. Brown of Wasco
Services for Anna C. Brown (nee Anderson), 91, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn. The Rev. John Feldman, a longtime friend and former pastor of Wasco Baptist Church, where Anna was active for many years, will officiate.
Born July 23, 1907, in Geneva, to Martin and Signe (nee Johanson) Anderson, she passed away Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, following an apparent heart attack at her home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Charles, following theservices.
Anna was raised in St. Charles and attended local schools, graduating from St. Charles High School with the Class of 1925. On Jan. 1, 1935, she was united in marriage to John L. Brown at Geneva Baptist Church. The couplemade their home near Wasco on the Brown homestead where the family had been dairy farming since the early 1800s. Anna spent many of her days cooking for the hired men and tending to her family of three growing boys. Gardening andcanning from year to year, she fed them well and her sons grew like the trees they gave her to plant about the farm. Time passed as everyone and everything grew up. The branches of the family tree can be found across the country, but, in spirit, the roots remain at the farm with the trees that still shade the memory of many good times.
Survivors include her sons, Robert John Brown of Chicago, William Herbert (Sarah Ann) Brown of Elgin and Bruce Allen (Martha Sue) Brown of St. Charles; sisters, Elsie Anderson of St. Charles, Bertha Danielsen of Elgin and Margaret (Julius `Bud') Wynthein of Iowa; grandchildren, Beth (Dave Martinez) Brown of Denver, Colo., Craig (Margaret) Brown of Arlington, Va., Laura (John) LaChance of Brooksville, Fla., Elizabeth (John) Marston of Elgin, Aaron Brown of Batavia, Kate (David) Brown-Bamford of Seattle, Wash., and Julie (Kurt) Hofmeister of Dallas, Texas, and Betsy and Matt Brown, both of St. Charles; and great-grandchildren, Rachael and Erica Martinez, Sarah and Joshua Brown, Emma, Janeand Will Marston, and Jay Hofmeister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, in 1991; and siblings, Ragner and Gordon Anderson, and Alvera Johnson.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Sylvia Catanzaro
Prayers for Sylvia Catanzaro (nee Brosious) will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.), Roselle. Mass will followat 10 a.m. at St. Hubert Church, Hoffman Estates. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sam; devoted mother of Rosemary Reichenbach, Shirley (Bill) Gill, Leroy (Sherry) and Raymond Jungwirth, Carlo (Rosie) Grimelli, Mary (Jim) Fisher and Roseann (Rick) Bray; dear sister of Marguerite; fond grandmother of 11; and great-grandmother of eight.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Phillip M. De Clercq of Long Grove
Prayers for Phillip M. De Clercq, 56, will be said at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 75 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove.
Born July 16, 1942, in Chicago, he died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Loyola Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Mary Church Cemetery, Buffalo Grove.
For the past year Mr. De Clercq was corporate controller for Lekic LLC and he served in the same capacity for 12 years for Interstate Brands Corp. For the past 20 years he was associated with Arlington Heights Youth Athletic Association in various capacities as former member and director of girls softball. Mr. De Clercq was a resident of Long Grove for 20 years.
He was the loving husband of Kathleen (nee Koffman), whom he married on July 15, 1967, in Chicago; dearest father of Michele De Clercq of Arlington Heights and Tiffany (Bill) Thompson of McHenry; dear grandfather of Carly Nicole Thompson; loved brother of Sue (John) Karels of Streamwoodand the late Vicki Lou De Clercq; son of the late Victor and Lucille De Clercq; and dear uncle of Sheri (Dominick)Tomasello of Streamwood.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Joseph F. Coleman Jr. of Roselle
Services for Joseph F. Coleman Jr., 69, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca.
Born Nov. 13, 1929, in Meridian, Miss., he died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Retired, he had been employed as a sheet metal worker for Westeran Heating.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (nee Deavers); children, Gary (Debra) Coleman and Debbie (Dan) Sickafoose; and grandchildren, Todd, Dana, Graig, Angela, Michelle, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Bryan and Kaylee.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Eric Davidson of Carpentersville
Services for Eric Davidson, 71, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin, with the Rev. Mary Grace officiating.
Born Nov. 26, 1927, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Thomas and Elsie (nee Maidment) Davidson, he passed away Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee East Cemetery.
Mr. Davidson had been employed with the St. Charles Manufacturing Company for 46 years and retired as supervisor of maintenance.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Davidson; daughters, Jean (David) Schuhardt of Michigan and Diana (Donald) Sliwa of Carpentersville; grandchildren, Robert Balfany, Lisa Balfany and Brianna Schuhardt, all of Michigan; and brother, Donald Davidson of Carpentersville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

John F. `Red' Deamer of Palatine
A funeral Mass for John F. `Red' Deamer, 64, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Colette Church.
Born May 20, 1934, in Worchester, Mass., he died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
John was a successful and dedicated businessman, a former vice president of Barton Chemical and the recent owner of Shamrock Chicago. He was active in his faith at St. Colette Church and Alcoholics Anonymous for many years. He was also a great lover of jokes, sports stamps, war historyand anything Irish.
He was the beloved husband of Annie E. Deamer (nee Graham); loving father of Nancy (Joseph) Lobue, Kathleen (Kevin) Farraher, John Deamer Jr., Margaret Deamer and Eileen (Richard Nagle) Deamer; and proud grandfather of Jason and Jennifer Lobue, John F. III, Elizabeth and Melissa Deamer, Steven A. and Amy Wroblewski, and Graham Deamer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.

Peter J. Disher formerly of Park Ridge
Funeral services for Peter J. Disher, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge. Burial will be in Town of Maine Cemetery.
Mr. Disher, a retired Park Ridge police officer, died Friday, March 26, 1999, at his home in Phoenix. Peter lived in Park Ridge for 30 years and was known as `Everybody's Buddy'. Peter was coordinator and co-author of the Officer Friendly program aimed at strengthening the safety habits of pre-schoolers and elementary grade students. The program started in Park Ridge in 1965 and now has gained national acceptance originatingfrom Disher's belief that it is important to establish a positive relationship between primary grade children and policemen.
Peter was a graduate of Chicago's St. George High School in 1943, and was a member of the football team that won city and national championships. Peter served as a Navy field medic attached to the Marine Corps in World War II and Korea. He retired from the Park Ridge Police Department after 26 years as head of public safety and director of physical education at the Northwest Police Academy in Arlington Heights. He completed his career as public safety officer at Oakton Community College. For his efforts as an active conservationist and sportsman and member of the Association of Great Lakes Outdoors Writers (AGLOW), Peter was honored as a Kentucky colonel in the 1970s.
Peter is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; brothers, Paul and Phillip Disher; sister, Joan Zerr; sons, Christopher and Timothy; daughter, Susanne Swanson; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Jean A. Frediani
Prayers for Jean A. Frediani (nee Humenski), 67, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Chicago, will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday, at Martin Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Marcelline Church, Schaumburg.
Born April 2, 1931, in Chicago, she died Friday, March 26, 1999, in Fort Lauderdale. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
She was the wife of the late Albert; mother of Mark Anderson and Alan (Marie) Frediani; fond Nani of Mark Anderson Jr., Joel and Carla Frediani; sister of James Sr. (Elaine) Humenski; sister-in-law of Andrew (Bea) Frediani; and aunt of James Jr. (Janine) Humenski and Beth (Bob) Busija.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Charlotte J. Gorski of Arlington Heights
Prayers for Charlotte J. Gorski (nee Szydlowski), 75, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
Born Nov. 26, 1923, in Chicago, she died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare Center. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Charlotte was a retired food service manager and a member of the St. James Church Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband of more than 51 years, Raymond C.; sons, Gary (Debbie) Gorson of Hawthorn Woods, Kevin (Lynn) Gorski of Palatine and Tom (Debbie) Gorski of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren; brother, Harold Szydlowski; and sister, Dolores Deinzer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses.
