Lenora (Lumbard) Hadley of Elgin
Services for Lenora (Lumbard) Hadley, 83, will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin. Rev. Philip Lund will officiate.
Born Feb. 25, 1916, in Washington, Ind., the daughter of David and Florence (nee Daman) Sloan, she died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Delnor Hospital. Private burial will be for the family only.
She owned and operated Wayside Beauty Salon in South Elgin for 25 years. She was a former member of The Elks Club of Elgin and former member of the YMCA of Elgin. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi of Elgin for many years.
Surviving are her son, Douglas (Alice) P. Lumbard of Elgin; daughter, Deborah (William) Garrison of Batavia; granddaughter, Jessica Lumbard of Elgin; grandsons, Jacob, Christopher and John Garrison of Batavia; and sisters, Ruth Brooks of Wabash, Ind., Mary Donisch of Middleton, Wis. and Martha (Wayne) Oergel of Lake Geneva, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John D. Lumbard; second husband, John `Larry' Hadley; and brothers, Richard Christman, Ralph Christman, Robert Christman and Bernard Sloan.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the services Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Cancer Care Unit of Community Crisis Center.

Daniel J. Holbrook of Naperville
A Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel J. Holbrook, 43, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Rd., Naperville.
Born Jan. 24, 1956, in Chicago, he died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
A 6-year Naperville resident, Mr. Holbrook was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church and employed by CNA Insurance Company for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen; children, Erin, Sean, Kevin, Patrick and Brian Holbrook; mother, Elaine Duggan of Wheaton; sisters, Ann (David) Berndes of Lindenhurst, Rita (Bill) Vahle of Addison, Patricia (Ron) Ramirez of Chicago, Kathleen (Bill) Mesheimer of Lombard, Mary Ellen (Tim) Neuman of Glenview and Jacqueline (Nathan) Neer of Itasca; brothers, Bill (Christine) Holbrook of Aurora, John (Sheila) Duggan of St.
Charles, Thomas (Laura) Duggan of Winfield and Matthew (Lori) Duggan of Glen Ellyn; mother-in-law, Margaret Tyrrell of Westchester; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Holbrook; stepfather, John B. Duggan; and father-in-law, Harold Tyrrell.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Friedrich-Jones funeral home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holbrook Children Educational Fund.

Dorothea R. Ingold of Wheaton
Prayers for Dorothea R. Ingold, 75, formerly a 36-year resident of Glen Ellyn, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (one block east of Naperville Rd.), Wheaton. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Winfield.
Born Dec. 2, 1923, in LaSalle, Ill., she died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at home. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.
A 6-year resident of Wheaton, she was also a 13-year winter resident of Palmetto, Fla. She was a lifelong charitable volunteer with the Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, George; children, Carolyn (Carl) Applequist, Connie, George (Nancy), Gary (Ginny), Mark (Christine), Laurie (Dan) Darlak, Katheryn (Patrick) Kissane and the late Patricia; grandchildren, Debbie, Dory, Aubrie, Aaron, Shannon, Matthew, Giselle, Corey, Christopher, Sean, Ashley, Nicholas, Kevin and Samuel; and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Tiffany and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Veronica Jasper.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Dagny Alfredia Juron
Services for Dagny Alfredia Juron (nee Lawrence), 91, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg.
Born July 2, 1907, in Brooklyn, N. Y., she died Saturday, March 27, 1999, in Barrington. Burial will be private.
She was the wife of Fred; mother of Virginia (John) Douglas, Nanci (Ben) Haase, Marilyn (James) Barron and Judy (Robert) O'Connell; sister of Walter (Eva) Lawrence, Jean Maniscalco, and the late Carl Lawrence, Olive Badendick and Arlene Harrison; grandmother of Pam (James) Louis, John Douglas, David (Nancy) and Scott (JoAnn) Haase, James (Patti), Thomas (Janet) and Daniel (Kim) Barron and Cathy (Rick) LaVeau; and great-grandmother of 14.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Arthritis Foundation, 303 E. Wacker Dr., Suite 300, Chicago, IL 60601.

Clarence F. Kopsell of Crystal Lake
Services for Clarence F. Kopsell, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley. The Rev. Charles W. Kittel will officiate.
Born July 30, 1916, in Crystal Lake, to Fred and Ella (nee Meier) Kopsell, he died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at Centegra Old South Medical Center, Woodstock.
Burial will be in Huntley Cemetery.
Mr. Kopsell married Eldoris E. Marsh on July 24, 1941, in Huntley, and they farmed in the Huntley and Crystal Lake area for more than 45 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley.
Surviving are his daughters, Joyce (Kenn) Oerkfitz of Cleveland, Ohio, Kathryn (Bob) Hendricks of Marengo and Nancy (Alex) Ewing of Crystal Lake; son, Kenneth (Kris) Kopsell of Woodstock; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brother, Donald (Arlene) Kopsell of Crystal Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eldoris, on March 16, 1992; daughter, Evelyn, on April 24, 1960; an infant grandson; and brother, Frank Kopsell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley, and at the church Thursday, prior to services.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Huntley.

Bernard C. Korcz formerly of Carpentersville
Funeral services for Bernard C. Korcz, 66, of Rockford, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.
Born June 14, 1932, in Chicago, the son of Casmir and Mary Korcz, he died Friday, March 26, 1999, at Vencor Hospital in Sycamore. Burial will be private.
A 32-year resident of the area, he formerly served as a police officer in Hampshire and also a reserve police officer in Carpentersville. He was the former owner/operator of All American Ambulance Service of Carpentersville.
Survivors include his wife, Noreen, whom he married on May 26, 1991; daughters, Patricia (Tom) Douglass of Carpentersville, Bernadette (Kenny) Klatkiewicz of Crivitz, Wis., and Vicki Keough of Sparks, Nev.; stepchildren, William, Diane, Carrey, Michael, Donald and Richard; and 21 grandchildren.

Steven J. Kovacik formerly of Arlington Heights
A funeral Mass for Steven J. Kovacik, 94, of Belvidere, Ill. for three years, also formerly of Marengo, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. James Catholic Church, Belvidere. Rev. Bernard J. Mullane will officiate.
Born Jan. 23, 1905, in Chicago, the son of John Kovacik and Elizabeth Kendek, he died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at Northwoods Healthcare Center. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery.
Mr. Kovacik was orphaned at age 5. He had been employed as a furniture finisher for Gulbranson Piano in Melrose Park and was an usher for more than 50 years for St. James Catholic Church, and then Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, both in Arlington Heights.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Viola) Kovacik of Belvidere, George (Cecile) Kovacik of Humble, Texas and Mary Ann (Edward) Partyka of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sophie on Dec. 8, 1998, they were married on Feb. 9, 1929, at St. James Catholic Church; one brother; two half brothers; and one half sister.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, at the church.

John M. LaBarge of Palatine
A funeral Mass for John M. LaBarge, 50, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Point Pleasant Beach, N. J.
Born Sept. 28, 1948, in Point Pleasant Beach, he diedSaturday, March 27, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, N. J.
Mr. LaBarge had been employed by Motorola in Schaumburg for more than 26 years, most recently as amarketing manager. He was a member of the Buehler YMCA of Palatine and enjoyed carpentry, auto mechanics, and furniture building and restoration. He was also an active supporter of the George Washington University swim team in Washington, D. C., where his son, John R., is a senior, graduating this May. Mr. LaBarge will be especially rememberedas a very devoted and loving husband and father.
Surviving are his wife, Denise L. LaBarge (nee Lindstrom) of Palatine; son, John R. LaBarge of Washington, D. C.; stepdaughter, Brenna McLaughlin of Chicago; and stepson, Shane McLaughlin of Point Pleasant Beach.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard LaBarge.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, at Shore Memorial Funeral Home in Point Pleasant Beach.
Memorials made in Mr. LaBarge's name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

Thomas Lynch of West Chicago
Services for Thomas Lynch, 86, will begin with prayers at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at NorrisWalen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago, and continue with Mass at noon, at St. Mary's Church.
Born July 26, 1912, in West Chicago, to James and Hannah (nee Hahn) Lynch, he passed away Sunday, March 28, 1999, at Wynscape Health Care Center in Wheaton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago.
A lifelong resident of West Chicago, Mr. Lynch was a member of St. Mary's Church in West Chicago and the Father Gaffney Council 1555 of the Knights of Columbus. He was formerly an engineer for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, retiring in the late 1970s after more than 40 years of service. Mr. Lynch was also a World War II veteran, having served in the Marine Corps with duty overseas and in the South Pacific.
Surviving are his sister, Mae Rueland of Georgia; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lynch of West Chicago and Arlene Lynch of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Mary Carol Newhouse, Ann Welch, William, James, Christopher and Michael Lynch, Leanne Scalf, Kathleen Dukleth, David Fox, Jerry Johnson, and Patti Wimble; and many great-nieces and greatnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers and sisters, Olive, Edna, Harry, Helen, Glenn and Robert.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, atthe funeral home.

Elizabeth `Betty' Alice McGee of Barrington Prayers for Elizabeth `Betty' Alice McGee (nee McHugh), 83, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Father James Hurlbert will officiate.
Born June 14, 1915, in Kalamazoo, Mich., she passed away Monday, March 29, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
A member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Mrs. McGee was an artist and homemaker. She attended several art schools, including theArt Institute of Chicago, Studio in the Wood in Wauconda, and also Harper College. She was a member of the Barrington Area Arts Council since 1980 and was an Encore #1 exhibitor in June 1987 at the Council. She was also an exhibitor at the Library Rental Gallery. Mrs. McGee was active in other groups, including the YWCA Hilltoppers and St. Anne's Compassionate Ministry.
Survivors include her children, Margaret (Francis) Crotty, Kim (Mary) McGee, Kathleen (Mike) Finn, John (Alice) McGee, David McGee and Peter (Veronica) McGee; sisters, Helen Dolan and Mary Agnes Hieshetter; grandchildren, Brother Chris Crotty, Brigid, Rebecca and Molly Crotty, Megan Harvey, Kevin, David and Matthew McGee, William and Patrick Finn, Sean, Peter and John McGee, Kate Koski, Sarah Crouse, Leah, Anne and Sam McGee, and Alexandra and Jennifer McGee; and great-grandchildren, Nadia and Maya Harvey, Sean, Keaton and Elizabeth McGee, Phoebe Koski, Merry, Faith and Robin Gross, and Cody Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McGee; and grandson, Matthew Crotty.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
