Prayers for Mary C. Vitale (nee Cummings) will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, with a chapel service at 10:30 a.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/ Roselle Road), Roselle.
She was the beloved wife of Michael L. Vitale; devoted mother of Mary Beth (Lester) Moe, Michael L. (Stephanie), Christine (John) Ortlund and Joseph (Kelly) Vitale; loving daughter of MargaretSchram and the late Arthur Cummings; dear sister of Margaret Burke, Hugh (Leslie), Patrick (Judy) and the late Arthur Cummings; daughter-in-law of Mary Vitale and the late Louis; fond grandmother of Michael Vitale, John Ortlund and Olivia Moe; and sister-in-law of Ann Marie Vitale.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose life ended too soon.
She will be forever missed and forever in the hearts of all who loved her.

Raymond J. Wiehle of Woodstock
Private services and interment for Raymond J. Wiehle, 88, were held at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
Born Oct. 29, 1911, in Forest Park, he died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Valley Hi Nursing Home, Woodstock.
Mr. Wiehle had been a partner in Edgetown Motor Sales in Woodstock for 25 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Permilia Wiehle; loving father of James Wiehle of Woodstock and Joanne (Hilbur) Powell of Fort Meyers, Fla.; fond grandfather of Thomas Wiehle of Woodstock, Robert Powell of Cape Coral, Fla., and Michael Powell of Pueblo, Colo.; great-grandfather of Jonathan and Stephanie Powell of Fort Meyers and Katelyn Powell of Pueblo; and dear brother of the late Clarence Wiehle.

Blanche S. Yankuloff of Palatine
Memorial services for Blanche S. Yankuloff (nee Zapen), 86, formerlyof Skokie, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) ,Arlington Heights.
Born Feb. 28, 1913, in Odessa, Russia, she died Monday, March 29, 1999, at ManorCare Nursing Home in Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
A 6-year resident of Palatine,she was employed in retail sales prior to her retirement.
She was the wife of the late John; dearest mother of Sonya (late Eugene) Weinkauf of Athens, Ohio and Pamela Allabastro of Palatine; dear grandmother of Kenneth, Dean (Martha), Nicklas (Patti) Weinkauf, Angela (Louis) Hersheway and Catherine (Vernon) Stuart; great-grandmother of Adrienne, Ryan, Eli, Jaylen, Joseph, Amy, Jeffrey, Nina, Stephanie and Suzanna; loved sister of Gertrude Zapen (Richard)Waxenberg of Morton Grove and the late Seymour Zapen; fond sister-in-law of Noma Zapen of Boca Raton, Fla.; and dearest aunt of Debra, Judy, Ronald and Gerald.
Memorial visitation will be from noon until the time of the services today, at the funeral home.

Russell J. Laidley of Williams Bay, Wis.
Services for Russell J. Laidley, 65, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Benedict Church in Fontana, Wis. The Rev. Stephen Stradinger will officiate.
Born Nov. 24, 1933, inChicago, to Roy R. and Doris (nee Groves) Laidley, he died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Burial will be private, in Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Mr. Laidley was a real estate broker for Keefe Real Estate and a member of St. Benedict Church in Fontana.
He was the beloved husband of Joyce E. Laidley (nee Murphy) of Williams Bay, whom he married Jan. 2, 1956, in Chicago; loving father of Kim (Brian) Janaes of Libertyville, Sue (Anthony)Lello of Mount Prospect, Lara (David) Wall of Mount Prospect, David (Jerri) Laidley of Williams Bay and Larry (Karen) Laidley of Orland Park; and proud grandfather of 11.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Hoy.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth, Wis.

Evald `Abby' Abolins of Des Plaines

Mr. Abolins was born July 13, 1938. Interment will be private.
He was a retired master chief petty officer for the Navy.
He was the father of Jonathan of Mount Prospect and Kristin of Mount Prospect; brother of Velta Nichols of California; and uncle of four.

Valeria Ambrogio of Geneva
Services for Valeria Ambrogio, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St., Geneva. Father Joseph F. Jarmoluk will officiate.
Born Dec. 28, 1915,in Chicago, to Mr. and Mrs. Hardeland, she passed away Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at Provena Geneva Care Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, following the services.
Valeria worked for many years in retail sales for Carson Pirie Scott in Hillside.
Surviving are her sons, Frank Ambrogio of Yorkville and John (Rita) Ambrogio of Carol Stream; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Florence Loweof Lombard, Eleanor Vitacek of Elk Grove Village, Geraldine Onik of Elmhurst and Beatrice of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John Ambrogio.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Anthony J. Baca
Services for Anthony J. Baca, 68, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
Born Jan. 19, 1931, in Chicago, Mr. Baca died Saturday, March 13, 1999. Interment will be private.
Retired for several years, he was a union cement mason for Chicago's Local 502 for more than 40 consecutive years. A native of northern Illinois, after retirement, he was a seasonal resident and volunteer for 5 years, at the Lake Manatee State Park in Bradenton, Fla. He served more than 1000 hours of volunteer service for the park.
Survivors include his children, Colleen Morgan of Naperville, Christopher Baca of El Sobrante, Calif., Tony Baca Jr. of Hawthorn Woods, Elizabeth Walter of Pell Lake, Wis., Jennifer Behling of Burlington, Wis., Mary Haque of Tlajomulco, Mexico, Theresa Young of Fox Lake and Paul Baca of Twin Lakes, Wis.; sisters, Loretta Schaffer of San Diego, Calif., Marcy Pry of Ingleside and Kay Gallagher of New Mexico; and 15 grandchildren.

Robert C. Baehr of Elgin
A memorial service for Robert C. Baehr, 55, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett.
Born Feb. 28, 1944, in Elgin, he died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Cremation will be private.
Mr. Baehr had been employed as a locksmith for Action Lock and Key. A veteran, he had served in the Army during the Vietname War.
He was the beloved husband of Bonnie L. Baehr (nee Tilche); cherished son of Robert and the late Marjorie (nee Martin) Baehr of Elgin; dear brother of Janice (Steve) MacKenzie of Tempe, Ariz.; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Robert G. Beasley Jr. of Grayslake
Private visitation and services were held for Robert G. Beasley Jr., age 44.
Mr. Beasley passed away Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
A lifelong resident of Lake County, he was a 1972 graduate of Antioch High School. He was employed with Revell Monogram Company in Chicago where he was the director of marketing. He was also a member of the Millburn Congregational Church in Millburn.
He leaves his loving parents, Robert and Lois Beasley Sr. of Grayslake; sister, Bonnie Barthel of Gurnee; brother, Michael Douglas Beasley of Bristol, Wis.; and close friends, Daniel Kocal of Chicago and Karen Goodman of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Joyce A. Campbell of Mundelein for 21 years
Funeral services for Joyce A. Campbell (nee Olinger), 63,will be held at noon Saturday, at Community Protestant Church, 418 N. Prairie Ave. (at the corner of Prairie Ave. and Hawley Street), Mundelein. The Rev. Kenneth Press will officiate.
Born Nov. 25, 1935, in Wengerlawn, Ohio, shedied Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.
Interment will follow the services in Ivanhoe Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell was an active member of Mundelein Mainstreet and the Libertyville-Mundelein-Vernon Hills Area Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; four children, Bruce II (Nancy) Campbell of Kansas City, Kan., Connie (William) Coon of St. Charles, Douglas (Mary) Campbell of Buffalo Grove and Andrew (Jennifer) Campbell of Grayslake; mother, Sylvia Olinger of Long Grove; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein.

Cecelia K. Christian of Naperville
Services for Cecilia K. Christian (nee Kutsko), 88, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 26 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Born Dec. 19, 1910, in Youngstown, Ohio, she died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
Mrs. Christian had been a Naperville resident since 1977. She was a member of Sts. Peter andPaul Catholic Church, where she was a member of `Young at Heart' and the Friendship Club. She was also a member ofthe American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) as well as the Slovak American Cultural Society of the Midwest.
Survivors include her daughter, Callie Mae (Frank) Tobolski of Naperville; son, Charles (Jimneta) Christian of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren, Frank (Cindy) Tobolski of Algonquin, Carolyn Tobolski of Naperville, Tom Christian of Portland, Ore., and Jeff and Brian Christian of Woodstock; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Sarah and Rebecca Tobolski of Algonquin; two sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Christian; and parents, Mathias and Maria Kutsko.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
