Thomas Leo McCoy of Aurora
Services for Thomas Leo McCoy, 59, will begin at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville, and continue with Mass at 12:30 p.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dixon, Ill.
Born Dec. 3, 1939, in Amboy, Ill., he died Friday, April 2, 1999, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon.
Mr. McCoy was a 1957 graduate of Newman Catholic High School in Sterling, Ill. In 1959 he began his career at United Parcel Service in Joliet as a package delivery driver. Through the years he was promoted to supervisor and then to division manager for operations and was instrumental in opening the Palatine facility. For the last five years prior to his retirement in July 1995,he held the position of district labor relations manager for central Illinois.
As a resident of Oak Forest, Roselle and Aurora, he was a member and sometimes president of homeowners associations, was an active member of the Jaycees, and participated in various other community causes and events.
Surviving are his wife, Corinne E. McCoy (nee Harvey) of Aurora; sons, Mark Thomas (Diana) McCoy and Michael Edwin (Kelly) McCoy, both of Aurora; and grandchildren, Alexa, Jaclyn, Danielle, Shaun, Ember and Tracey, also of Aurora.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwinand Catherine (nee Blackburn) McCoy; brother, Robert McCoy; and sister, Ann Gerdes.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials in Mr. McCoy's name may be made to the Lurie Center, Northwestern University, 710 N. Fairbanks Court, Chicago, IL 60611.

Milich Milicevich of Libertyville
Services for Milich Milicevich, 90, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at The Most Holy Mother of God Church in Third Lake.
Born May 4, 1908, in Yugoslavia, he passed away Thursday, April 1, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Interment will be in the church Cemetery, following the services.
Mr. Milicevich was a former resident of Germany and came to live in Chicago in 1952. He was a veteran of the Yugoslavian Royal Army and a member of The Most Holy Mother of God Church in Third Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, but is survived by many friends.
Arrangements were made by BurnettDane Funeral Home, Libertyville.

Thomas J. Mitchell of Algonquin
Prayers for Thomas J. Mitchell, 58, formerly of Elgin and Burlington,will be said at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St. (corner of south Third and Oregon Sts.) ,West Dundee. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Elgin.
Rev. Richard Russo will officiate.
Born March 1, 1941, in Chicago, the son of John and Pauline Conino Mitchell, he died Friday, April 2, 1999, at the home of his son in Lake In The Hills, following a lengthy illness that included a liver transplant on July 1, 1984. Burial will be private.
He had been a resident of the area for many years. He was a self-employed horseshoer in the Burlington area and then employed by Mitchell Sales. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a eucharistic minister for the church and formed the Share Food Program at the church. He also organized the Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops in Burlington.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Marie Rundquist Mitchell; sons,Andrew of Montgomery, David of Henderson, Nev. and Scott of Lake In The Hills; and sister, Joan (Denis) Bieleck ofOregon, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation celebrating his life will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home, with prayers for the Christian wake recited at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Liver Foundation.

Daisy Pauline Napier of Highwood
Services for Daisy Pauline Napier, 85, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Kelley & Spaulding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park.
Born Dec. 1, 1913, in Trinidad, Colo., she died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
She was the beloved wife of the late Capt. John T. Napier; loving mother of Donald (Barbara) Babbini of Wheeling and John T. (Karen) Napier of Buffalo Grove; and cherished grandmother of two. She was also the dear sister of the late John and Pete Sartoris and Joe and Steve Jenisio; and fond sister-in-law of Gena Sartoris of Highland Park.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Roberta L. `Bobbie' Perry of Palatine
Services for Roberta L. `Bobbie' Perry, 72, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 144 E. Palatine Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
Born June 27, 1926, in Glidden, Wis., she died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at home.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Perry was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Perry of Palatine; and sisters Irene Dreyer of Oshkosh, Wis., and Lois Bahr of Dunedin, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Perry; brother, Robert Eder; and sister, Marjorie Fretschl.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.

Dorothy A. Peterson of Carol Stream
Memorial services for Dorothy A. Peterson (nee Waggoner), 73, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 965 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream, IL 60188. A reception will follow.
Born Aug. 1, 1925, in Clearwater, Kan., she passed away Thursday, April 1, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital, following a brief, but fierce battle with cancer.
Mrs. Peterson was retired from United Airlines Credit Union.
Dottie was a loving mother. Her kindness and generosity were enjoyed by all her family and relatives. She was a loyal friend who showed her caring in many ways - always looking out for others and ready to help. Dottie was a devoted grandmother, especially to Heather. She will be greatly missed.
She was the wife of the late Carl H., who passed away in 1970; beloved mother of Carl (Lianne) of Victoria, B. C., Canada, Sandy of Decatur, Ill. and Lisa of Carol Stream; daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Waggoner; sister of Edward Waggoner of Santa Maria, Calif.; and grandmother of Karen and David Peterson of Victoria, B. C., Canada and Heather Dickie of Carol Stream.

Fred William Ravnsbeck of Cary
Services for Fred William Ravnsbeck, 65, will be held at noon Wednesday, at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.
Born Feb. 7, 1934, in Chicago, he died Friday, April 2, 1999. Burial will follow the services.
Mr. Ravnsbeck had been a resident of Cary for 11 years and was formerly a resident of Chicago. He had worked as an engineer for Anetsberger Bros. of Northbrook for 14 years.
He was the loving father of Lisa Ravnsbeck of Cary, Lynn (Ruben) Aguilera of Cary and Lori (Thomas) Fritts of Cary; proud grandfather of Todd Ravnsbeck of Cary and Eric and Andrea Aguilera of Cary; and dear brother of Alice (Thadeus) Jarosz of Edwardsburg, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederic and Sophie Ravnsbeck; and sister, Norma Kern.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon, Wednesday, at the cemetery chaple.

Harriet D. Riplinger of Elk Grove
Village Services for Harriet D. Riplinger (nee Skie), 66, a resident of Elk Grove Village for 23 years, will begin with chapel prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Julian Eymard Church.
Born in Chicago, she died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Riplinger was retired, having worked for 25years at A. M. Multigraphics.
She was the beloved wife for 47 years of Richard M. Riplinger; loving mother of Steven M. (Linda), Joseph M., Brian R. (Debra) and Michael A. Riplinger and Sharon A. (James) Laing; devoted grandmother of Kelly, Jaclyn, Andrew, Shawn, Stefani, Joey and Jaime Riplinger, and Jessica and Jay Laing; and dear sister of Patricia Poppert and the late Francis Skie.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.

Eugene P. Skach of Palatine
Funeral services for Eugene P. Skach, 67, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 144 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.
Born Dec. 22, 1931, in Chicago, he died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at University of Chicago Hospital. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
Mr. Skach was employed by Metal Ceramics in Franklin Park and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Skach of Palatine; sons, Alan (Stacie) Skach of Aurora, Colo., David (Jennifer) Skach of Bentonville, Ark. and Peter Skach of Palatine; nephew, John E. Skach Jr.; and niece, Delena Shaw of Des Plaines.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John E., Joseph and William.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, Ltd., 201 N. Northwest Hwy.

Charles H. Smith Jr. of St. Charles
Visitation for Charles H. Smith Jr., 82, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Yurs-Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St., Geneva. Funeral services wil lbe held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, Pa.
Born March 13, 1917, in York, Pa., to Charles H. and Esther (nee Honhart) Smith, he passed away Friday, April 2, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Starbrick, Pa.
Prior to his retirement in 1977, Mr. Smith had worked as a flight engineer for Trans World Airlines. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Army Air Corps from 1940 to 1945 in the Panama Canal, the Galapagos Islands and Saipan in the South Pacific. Mr.
Smith was a member of Geneva Lutheran Church in Geneva and Unity Masonic Lodge #48 A. F. & A. M. of St. Charles, and was a life member of the St. Charles VFW.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Audrey Smith; daughter, Janis (William) Collette of Foristell, Mo.; brother, Allen Smith of Paso Robles, Calif.; sisters, Ruth (Edwin) Morris of Titusville, Pa., Marjorie (Howard) Flick of Warren, Pauline Van Valkinburg of Clarendon, Pa., and Dorothy (Norman) Bowser of Warren;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Smith; and sister, Barbara Olson.
