Susan M. Froelich (nee O'Brien), 84, of Elmhurst, formerly of Bensenville, died Friday, Jan. 1. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Lawrence Havel, 43, of Chatswroth, Cal., formerly of Villa Park, died Thursday, Dec. 24. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 834-6656.

William Herman of Roselle
Prayers for William Herman will be said at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle.
Mass will follow at 11 a. m. at St. Walter Church. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
He was the beloved husband of Frances Herman; devoted father of Norma Jean Young, William Albert (Karen), Kenneth James (Carol), Michael (Kathy), Steven (Sandra) and Barbara Jean (William) Harper; fond grandfather of 17; and great-grandfather of 12. He was also the dear brother of Margaret Sujdak; and dear uncle of Lois Caccioppo and Ronald Herman.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today and Monday, at the funeral home.

Adolph Hermann of Elgin
Services for Adolph Hermann, 85, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
Mr. Hermann died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at Sherman West Court in Elgin.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.

George C. Hess of Elk Grove Village
Services for George C. Hess, 86, will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Hess died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Glen Oaks Medical Center in Glendale Heights. Interment will be in Union Ridge Cemetery, Chicago.
A retired machinist, he was the husband of the late Lucille F. (nee Barnikow); father of Richard G. Hess and the late Darlene (Roy) McNeil of Highland, Ind.; grandfather of Richard G. (fiancee Carol) Hess Jr., Lisa K. (Joseph) Krceczowski, Tammy Thompson, Dan (Jill) McNeil and Mike McNeil; and uncle of Dennis (Martha) Bruce.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Tyra M. Jonson of St. Charles
Funeral services for Tyra M. Jonson, 92, will be held at 11:30 a. m. Wednesday, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Charles. Rev. Kenneth Ahlstrand will officiate.
Born Aug. 31, 1906, in East Orange, N. J., she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at home. Burial will be in North Cemetery, St. Charles.
Mrs. Jonson graduated in 1929, from Gustavas Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., with a degree in education. After graduation, she taught high school in Minnesota for several years. In 1934, she married Rev. Rudolph Jonson in Wellsville, N. Y. Later, after raising her children, she taught high school in Cambridge, Ill. In 1970, she and her husband moved to St. Charles.
Mrs. Jonson is survived by her daughters, Charlotte J. (Edwin) Berndt of Wheaton and Martha Miller of St. Charles; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Rudolph Jonson in 1971; brothers, Tord and Rolf Beck; sister, Hildegard Harris; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Anloyce C. Joy South Elgin
Prayers for Anloyce C. Joy, 71, will be held at 8:30 a. m. Tuesday, at theLaird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Mass will follow at 9 a. m. at St. Laurence Catholic Church. The Rev. Josphe F. Kulak will officiate.
Born Aug. 26, 1927, in Union County, Miss., the daughter of Claude and Jane Browning Black, she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
She had been a resident of Elgin for many years and had lived in South Elgin since 1980. She was a secretary for LaFox Screw Products Inc. in South Elgin prior to her retirement and was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church of Elgin.
Survivors include her sons, Samuel C. (Kathryn) Joy of Hampshire, Richard L. Joy of South Elgin, Gary E. (Susan) Joy of Elgin, Mark A. (Cecilia) Joy of South Beloit and David P. (Margaret) Joy of Elgin; grandchildren, Ross and Justin Joy, Chris and Lisa Burnside, Mark, Angela, Cameron, Dave Jr., Amy and Madeline; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl, Buddy and Robert; and sisters, Glenda and Jean.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick in 1977; her sister, Pearl; and her brother, James.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ann Krueger of St. Charles
A funeral service for Ann Krueger, 59, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles.
Born Sept. 26, 1939, in Chicago, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva.
She had been employed by Jel Sert Company in West Chicago.
Mrs. Krueger is survived by her son, Michael (Christine) Krueger of Elgin; grandchildren, Breanna and Zachary; and sister, Linda (Terry) Cardwell of Addison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Krueger; and brother, Alex Sipari.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Sue Kryshal of Palatine
Funeral services for Sue Kryshal (nee Mieszala), 77, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Nov. 10, 1921, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley J. Kryshal; daughter, Pam (Dan) Szarzak; grandson, Nick Szarzak; brothers and sisters, Helen (the late Mitch) Rybka, John (the late Sally) Mieszala, Irene (the late Ed) Pulak, Frank (Norma) Mieszala and Chester (Bernie) Mieszala; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean Holliday LoGrasso of Wheeling
Services for Jean Holliday LoGrasso, 51, formerly of Wilmette, will be held at 2 p. m. Monday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling.
Born Sept. 25, 1947, in Evanston, she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Interment will be private.
Mrs. LoGrasso was the director of production for the Quarasan Group in Chicago. She courageously battled breast cancer for 12 years and never lost her spirit for living.
She was the beloved wife for 25 years of Edward J. LoGrasso; cherished daughter of John P. and Marianne (nee Jessup) Holliday of Scottsdale, Ariz.; dear sister of Gail (Ron) Hess of Chesterfield, Mo., and Terry (Roy) Kloepfer of Somers, Wisc.; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Born Jan. 16, 1953, in Elmhurst, she died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at home.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago.
Employed by Illinois Rehabilitation Associates in Addison, she was the wife of the late Dr. James P. Long; mother of Patrick J. Long, Meredith (Jason) Burns and Jennison (Chris) Norberte; sister of Michael (Mersene) Beary, John W. (Suzanne) Beary, Joseph (Elma) Beary, Elizabeth Schissler, Maryann (Russell) Shelton and Ann Catherine (Peter) Stawnyczy; and stepgrandmother of Jared Norberte.

Sam F. Mangiamele of Barrington

Born June 6, 1939, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Hoffman Estates Medical Center.
Mr. Mangiamele was a member of San Leoluca Da Corleone Society and a supporter of the Holy Family Parish Footsteps in Faith program.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (nee Badami); son, Sam Joseph Mangiamele of Chicago; daughters, Anna Marie Vargo of Columbus, Ohio and Lea Mangiamele of Chicago; brothers, Robert (Virginia) Mangiamele and Dominick (Angie) Mangiamele; sister, Frances (Nick) Milazzo; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Luke.
