Ronald C. Radke of Glen Ellyn
A funeral Mass for Ronald C. Radke, 62, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Petronille Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood, Glen Ellyn. Friends and family should meet at the church.
Born June 19, 1936, in Chicago, he died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at his home. Burial will be private.
A resident of Glen Ellyn for 38 years, Mr. Radke had retired 1 1/2 years ago after 16 years of employment with United Parcel Service in Addison. Following his retirement, he went to work for Home Depot on Butterfield Road in Downers Grove. He was a member of Elmhurst Moose Lodge #1553 and of St. Petronille Catholic Church in Glen Ellyn.
Survivors include hiswife, Jacqueline Radke of Glen Ellyn; children, Joanne (Eric) Castelluccio of Wheaton and Scott (girlfriend, Jeannie) Radke of South Elgin; mother-in-law, Clara Green of Elmhurst; and family dogs, Jasmine, Murray and Schroeder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Violet Radke.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.

Saralee Redfield formerly of Batavia
Memorial services for Saralee Redfield, 60, of Las Vegas, Nev., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the United Methodist Church in Batavia. The Rev. Michael S. Stoner will officiate.
Born Sept. 17, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Harold and Billie Redfield, she passed away Monday, April 5, 1999, inLas Vegas.
Interment will be private, in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
Saralee had attended school in Batavia until moving with her family to Salina, Kan. She was a graduate of Salina High School, studied at Kansas Weslyan University in Salina, and graduated from Hutchinson Business College. She was a member of the Mormon Church.
Surviving are her children, Suzanne (Gary) Tysor of Chesapeake, Va., Deborah (Ken) Dickinson of Las Vegas, Virginia Balaun of San Diego, Calif., and Curtis Balaun of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, D. J. (Greg) Irwin of Galesburg, and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes. Association, Northern Illinois Affiliate, Inc., Suite 1202, 6 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60602, or to a charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were made by Yurs Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia.

Eleanor H. Reinke of Mount Prospect
Services for Eleanor H. Reinke (nee Menchey), 71, will be held Monday at the Salvation Army Norridge Citadel, 8354 W. Foster Ave., Norridge, IL 60656.
Born Nov. 24, 1927, in Chicago, she died Friday, at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Werner Reinke, they were married 46 years; son, Robert (Mary) Reinke; daughter, Carol (Patrick) Irwin; brother, William (Sandra) Menchey; sisters, Doris (Jack) Manzella and Patricia Horn; grandchildren, Nicole, Kaleigh, Michael, Bryan and Kaitlyn; and many nieces, nephews, and manydear friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the Salvation Army Norridge Citadel.
Memorials may be made to Salvation Army Norridge Citadel (see address above).

Lois Martha Rhodes of Yorkville
Funeral services for Lois Martha Rhodes, 63, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Parkway, Yorkville.
Born Sept. 15, 1935, in Wayne, the daughter of Aloise and Martha F. (nee Kitzler) Wells, she passed away Friday, April 9, 1999, at the Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Interment will follow the services in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bristol.
Lois was united in marriage May 16, 1959, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wheaton, to Mr. Richard Albert Rhodes, and they spent nearly 40 years of their lives together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed. Lois enjoyed her hobby of making lovely ceramic pieces for her family and friends. She was formerly employed by the Kendall County School District in the food preparation department.
Survivors include her husband, Richard of Yorkville; son, Daniel Rhodes of Yorkville; daughter, Barbara (Bradley) Thornbury of Warrenville; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jack and Benjamin Thornbury, all of Warrenville; one brother, Alan (Mia) Wells of Minden, Germany; as well as two nieces and two nephews in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, William A. Rhodes, on April 13, 1996.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Sandra L. Rochlis of Wheaton
Funeral services for Sandra L. Rochlis, 53, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, at Congregation Beth Shalom, 772 W. 5th Ave., Naperville, with the Rabbi Michael Remson officiating.
Born Oct. 23, 1945, in Los Angeles, Calif., she died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Rochlis received her BS degree in interior design from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a past board member of Congregation Beth Shalom, a member of the A. A. U. W., Woman's American O. R. T. and a member of Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband, W. Stephen Rochlis of Wheaton; parents, George andShirley (nee Glatt) Bamberger of Plantation,Fla.; brother, Bruce (Linda) Bamberger of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Judy (David) Calton of Southfield, Mich. and Betsy (Craig) Newmark of Raleigh, N. C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Mrs. Rochlis' name may be made to either Congregation Beth Shalom - Rabbi's Discretionary Fund, or the charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were made by Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, Naperville.

Adrienne `Terry' Sawalski
Funeral Mass for Adrienne `Terry' Sawalski (nee Sivek) will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Matthew Church.
Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth; loving mother of Dale (Mitzi), Gregory (Debbie), Debra (Laszlo) and Jeffrey (Gina); dear grandmother of Angie, Nico, Justin, Austin, Nina and Maria; fond sister of Conrad (Patricia) and the late Stanley Sivek; dear and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road (between Army Trail Road and North Ave.), Glendale Heights.

Mitchell Skolorzynski, 88, formerly of Franklin Park, died Friday, April 9, 1999. Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 832-4161.

Lawrence S. `Larry' Smith of Palatine
Services for Lawrence S. `Larry' Smith, 78, formerly of Arlington Heights, will begin with prayers at 10 a.m. Monday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas of Villanova Church.
Born Aug. 9, 1920, in Chicago, he died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospice, Elk Grove Village. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Smith was the retired owner of the William C. Smith & Sons Funeral Home of Chicago. He was a past member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Illinois Funeral Directors Association, and the Funeral Directors Services Association of Greater Chicago, and a former member of the Board of Directors of Community Bank of Chicago. He proudly served his country as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of Dolores Smith (nee Rose); loving father of Lawrence J., Terrence (Sandie), Jerry and Mark (Judith) Smith, Nancy (Paul) Dunn, Patricia (Larry) Davison, Joan (Allen) Fogel, Maurita (Bob) Fischer, Carol (Kevin) Dalton, Jeannine (Randy) Emory, Michele (Michael) Berry and Kelly (Thomas) Kelley; proud grandfather of Kindra, Linse, Christian USMC, Jennifer (James) King, Regina, Carolyn, Emily, Larry, Charlie, Mark, Mary Caitlin, Drew, Jack, Molly, Kevin, Kelly, Aaron, Will, Elizabeth, Steven, Jessica, Thomas, Colleen, Jack, Bridget, and the late Sara; great-grandfather of Maureen; dear brother of Robert (Dolores) and Richard (Betty) Smith, Eileen Leskiw Crain, Maureen (Raymond `Pat') Siewert, and the late William (Margaret `Peg') Smith and Joan (the lateGeorge) Pierce; and dear brother-in-law of Bud (Marion) and Jack (Therese) Rose.

Kent G. Taylor of Barrington
Services for Kent G. Taylor, 25, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
Born Nov. 20, 1973, in Park Ridge, he passed away Wednesday, April 7, 1999, as a result of an automobile accident. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park.
A 1991 graduate of Barrington High School, Mr. Taylor attended the University of Kansas, and was employed as an information systems technician. His hobbies included computers, music, the out of doors, snow skiing and biking. He enjoyed spending time with friends.
Survivors include his parents, George M. Jr. and Gayle Taylor of Tucson, Ariz.; and brother, George M. (Laura) Taylor III of Clarendon Hills.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George M. and Josephine Taylor; and his maternal grandparents, George and Esther Walschon.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Edna Thon of Addison since 1926
Funeral services for Edna Thon (nee Schaper), 95, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 37 Army Trail Road, Addison.
Born May 21, 1903, in Bloomingdale Township, she died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at Elmhurst Hospital. Interment will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery.
A homemaker, she is survived by her daughters, Eunice (Melvin) Boeckenhauer and Jean (Kenneth) Karnstedt; sister, Helen Schaper; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, and her son, Lawrence.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. today, at the church.
Memorials would be appreciated to the church.
Arrangements were made by Humes Funeral Home, Addison.

Virginia M. Worth formerly of Bellwood
Services for Virginia M. Worth (nee Brenner), 75, most recently of Hoffman Estates, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a chapel service at 10 a.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle.
Interment will be in Glen Oak Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Worth; devoted mother of Kathleen (Dave) Brainer, Mary Ellen (Gordon) Schulz and Phyllis (George) Coalson; fond grandmother of seven; and great-grandmother of four.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
