Saralee Redfield Balaun formerly of Batavia
Memorial services for Saralee Redfield Balaun, 60, of LasVegas, Nev., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the United Methodist Church in Batavia. The Rev. Michael S. Stonerwill officiate.
Born Sept. 17, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Harold and Billie Redfield, she passed away Monday, April 5, 1999, in Las Vegas.
Interment will be private, in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
Saralee had attended school in Batavia until moving with her family to Salina, Kan. She was a graduate of Salina High School, studied at Kansas Weslyan University in Salina, and graduated from Hutchinson Business College. She was a member of the Mormon Church.
Surviving are her children, Suzanne (Gary) Tysor of Chesapeake, Va., Deborah (Ken) Dickinson of Las Vegas, Virginia Balaun of San Diego, Calif., and Curtis Balaun of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, B. J. (Greg) Irwin of Galesburg, and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory maybe made to the American Diabetes. Association, Northern Illinois Affiliate, Inc., Suite 1202, 6 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60602 or a charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were made by Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia.

Jeff Coleman of Round Lake Beach
Services for Jeff Coleman, 46, will be held at 6 p.m. today, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Born in Grand Rapids, Mich., he passed away Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at Condell Medical Center. Private interment will be held in Grand Rapids.
Jeff was a proud alumnus of I. I. T. and a fraternity member of Pi Kappa Phi.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Coleman (nee Stach); son, Matthew Coleman; brothers, Brent and Ken Coleman; sister, Tracy Coleman; stepmother, Sandra Coleman; grandparents, Gertrude Coleman and L. Verne Wilson; and best friend, Cody.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon in 1992; mother, Lois in 1965; grandmother, Helen Wilson in 1997; and grandfather, Kenneth Coleman in 1986.
Friends and family may visit from 3 p.m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Matthew's educational future.

Ann F. Muldoon Davis longtime resident of Wheaton
Funeral services for Ann F. Muldoon Davis, 91, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, continuing to St. Michael Church, 315 W. Illinois St., Wheaton, for a 10 a.m. Mass.
Mrs. Davis died Friday, April 9, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 50 years, Raymond Muldoon; a brother, Leo; and sisters, Helen, Celia, Stella, Victoria and Marie.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

The Rev. Henry Demler of Arlington Heights
Services for the Rev. Henry Demler, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. John United Church of Christ, 1445 W. Algonquin Road (at Roselle Road), Palatine.
Born Sept. 1, 1916, in Lincoln, Neb., he died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Memorial Park, Skokie.
The Rev. Demler was the former pastor of St. John United Church of Christ, where he had served until his retirement in 1979. During his career, he had also served in churches in Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Iowa, and, after his retirement, remained a supply pastor in Illinois. He was a 1941 graduate of Moody Bible Institute and had received his master's degree from Chicago Theological Seminary in 1947.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Demler (nee Kinast); daughter, Sharon (George) Lemke; son, Maj. James Demler D. O. of the U. S. Army; grandchildren, Michael (Dana) Lemke, Wendy Demler and Luke (Lisa) Demler; brother, David; and sister, Lydia.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, George, Peter, Mary, Ann, Esther, Ruth, Martha and John.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect. He will also lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church.

Beverly `Bowie' Dietmeyer of Grayslake
Services for Beverly `Bowie' Dietmeyer, 62, will be private.
Born Aug. 1, 1936, in Chicago, she passed away Friday, April 9, 1999, at her home.
She was employed as a secretary in human resources for Kemper Value and Fitting in Wauconda. She loved to bowl, go to the movies, and spend time with her friends.
Survivors include her children, Steven (Margarita) Dietmeyer of Concord, Calif. and Jill Dietmeyer of Berkeley, Calif.; grandchildren, Daniel and Ryan Dietmeyer; twin sister, Barbara (Albert) Bade of Arlington Heights; sister, Donna (James) Thompson of Cherry Valley, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kimble and Helen Atkinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.
Arrangements were made by Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, Barrington.

Irene E. Drinan recently of Wheaton
A memorial service for Irene E. Drinan, 81, a longtime resident of Chicago, will be held at 3 p.m. today, at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 Carlton Ave., Wheaton.
Born July 25, 1917, in Duluth, Minn., she died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village. Interment will be private, in Mount Olive Cemetery, Chicago.
Among her special interests, Mrs. Drinan had been a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 3579 in Park Ridge, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and Norwood Park Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was later involved at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton where she was active with the PresbyterianWomen, the Naomi Circle and the Library Volunteers.
Surviving are her children, Karen (George) Johnson of Schaumburg, Gregory (Susan) Drinan of Wheaton and Deborah (David) Adkins of California; grandchildren, John Mede, Kathleen Trapani, Christopher Mede, Katherine Fleming, David Drinan and Melissa Grube; great-grandchildren, Liane, John, Joseph and Scott; and sister, Edith Gregorie of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert T. Drinan Jr.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Library Fund, 715 N. Carlton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
Arrangements were made by Hultgren Funeral Home, Wheaton.

Patricia A. `Pat' Etzel of Carpentersville
Memorial services for Patricia A. `Pat' Etzel, 73, will beheld at 3 p.m. today, at Trinity United Methodist Church of Carpentersville. The Rev. Robert Baker will officiate.
Born in Ames, Iowa Dec. 3, 1925, the daughter of Lyman and Evalou (nee Ragsdale) Osam, she died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Rush-Presbyterian-St.
Luke's Hospital in Chicago. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Etzel, a resident of Carpentersville for 36 years, was an active and devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Carpentersville, Dundee Township Senior Citizens Organization, 50+ Club and the Singing Seniors Choir. She was a former Girl Scout Leader, `Pied Piper' and neighborhood chairman with the Sybaquay Council Girl Scouts of America.
Survivors include her son, Doug (Paula) of Santa Margarita, Calif.; daughters, Paula (Warren) Redmond of South Elgin, Elizabeth (Bill) Landau of Germany and Cheryl (Dean) Liveris of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Tacy, Steven, Keli, Aaron, Lindsay, Evan, Rachel, Zachary, Ashley and Alex; great-grandson, Thaddeus; brother, Duane (Dodie) Osam of Little Rock, Ark.; and nephew, Dr. Patrick (Teresa) Osam of Little Rock, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland `Lee' Etzel Dec. 13, 1989, they married Oct. 3, 1947; and her grandson, Jonathan Day, on March 14, 1988.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Carpentersville.
Arrangements were made by Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee.

Robert P. Greer of Wheaton for 30 years
Graveside services for Robert P. Greer, 65, will be held Monday at Wheaton Cemetery.
He died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Mr. Greer was a retired employee of Sears.
He was the beloved husband of Ruth C. (nee Wedereit); loving father of Patricia (Peter) Capela and Elizabeth Greer; devoted grandfather of Stephen and Courtney; and fond brother of Charles (Julie) Greer.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton.
Please omit flowers.

LaVerne B. Jensen of Wheaton
Services for LaVerne B. Jensen (nee Jaeger), 79, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 515 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
Born April 27, 1919, in Chicago, she died Friday, April 9, 1999, at home after a long illness. Private interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
A 45-year resident of Wheaton, she was a graduate of Carthage College. During World War II she worked for a short time as a physicist on a program at Aberdeen Proving Ground. She taught third grade at Sandburg School in Wheatonfrom its opening until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wheatonfor 45 years. She was a life member of the CDHA (Central DuPage Hospital Auxiliary) and a member of the Women's Department Club of Wheaton.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; sons, Doug (Debra) and Scott (Vicki) Jensen; grandchildren, Rachel, Emma, Bob and Christine Jensen; brothers, Robert (Karin) and Arthur (Marilyn) Jaeger; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd. (one block east of Naperville Rd.), Wheaton.
Donations to St. Paul Lutheran Church (at the address listed above) or Hospice of DuPage, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188, would be appreciated.

Thaddeus `Ted' Jewgieniew
Thaddeus `Ted' Jewgieniew entered eternal life on Saturday, April 3, 1999. Ted was born in Pinsk, Russia (Belarus), on May 10, 1941. He was born to Eliasz and Helen Jewgieniew, who survivedthe horrors of concentration camps in Poland and Germany during World War II. Ted came to this country on Dec. 24, 1951. He was employed by Pfizer, Hoffman Estates, for 23 years and was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit. He retired to Las Cruces, N. M. in 1991 at the age of 50.
There, he was a children's mentor at Sierra Middle School and a volunteer teacher at Loma Heights Elementary. He briefly lived in Truth or Consequences, N. M.
He was very active in debate, philosophy and politics. He loved music, walking, nature, sunsets and baseball. His last unfinished goalwas to go back home to Russia to trace his family's genealogy. His children will fulfill that wish.
Ted is survived by his two children, Natasha Jasso and her husband, Danny, of La Mesa, N. M. and Anthony Jewgieniew of Chicago; former wife and dearest friend, Josephine Jewgieniew; five brothers, Jerry, Eugene, Henry, Cas and Stanley; and four sisters, Chris, Jesse, Lily and Terry. He had several nieces and nephews, and his mother, Helen, is also living. He will join his baby brother, Eddie and his father, Eliasz, in eternal rest.
Services for Ted were conducted Thursday, April 8, with Fr. John Zacharitz presiding. Service arrangements were handled by Graham Mortuary, Las Cruces, N. M.
