Helen Mary Martin-Winn of Grayslake
Helen Mary Martin-Winn went to God in Heaven in Dec. 28, 1998. Her maiden name was Helen Mary Anderson.
She was born on March 28, 1914, in Eden Valley, Minn., to Oscar and Katherine (Reagen) Anderson.
Helen married John Stanton Martin at the age of 25, and bore John Francis Martin on Jan. 23, 1939, and daughter Sarah Josephine Martin (Sally Jo Martin) of March 10, 1942. Helen married Kenneth Taylor Winn many years later and bore Kenneth William Winn (Billy Winn) on Feb. 17, 1953. Helen lost their second child Kathy Lou Winn. Helen and Kenneth were married 25 years before Kenneth went to Heaven, but not before Billy married Debbie Dobecki and his brother John was the best man. Kenneth lived to see his grandchildren, Aaron Tyler Winn and Toby Joseph Winn born, but did not see his third grandchild, William Taylor Winn.
Helen lived to see, play and love our Aaron, Toby and Willie. Aaron married Yolanda Montes and Helen met and loved Londa and many of the Castros and Montes's and her great-grandchildren, Vanessa Ann Winn and Alexis Marie Winn. Johnny married Carol Durso who has a daughter Tara and two brothers Johnny and Mark.
Her beloved family in Kentucky and Godfrey are: Lucille Travis in heaven, Barb and Troy Conway and daughter Randy Day, Kathleen Gustin, William H. Gustin, Fay Gustin, Betty and Doug Mueller, and Bryan and Jackie Gustin.
Her beloved family in Grayslake: Margaret Radke, Hannah Becker, Kay Foley and Bernard (Evelyn) Anderson.
Deceased and in heaven: Edward Radke, Ted Becker, Mary and Clarence Peregrin, Robert Foley and Edward Anderson. Her best friends are Jerry and Evelyn Peckham and Sally's best friends, Leo and Marie Demeyer and family.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, with Pastor Abbott of Gages Lake Bible Church. Interment will follow in Avon CentreCemetery, Grayslake.
Friends of the family may visit at the funeral chapel from 9 a. m. until the time of services.
Family requests anyone wishing to say a few words about Helen may do so.
Family also requests that flowers do notbe wired in but may be brought in personally. Sally stated that Red Geraniums and Moss Roses were Helen's favorite.
Donations may be given to the family in Helen's memory.

Jeanne McCullough of McKinney, Texas
Memorial services for Jeanne McCullough, will be held at 4 p. m. Wednesday, at the TurrentineJackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. Rev. Jim Dorff will officiate.
Born March 5, 1914, in Brockton, Ill., the daughter of John Peter Hale and Georgia Isabel (nee Petty) Hale, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999.
She earned her bachelors degree from Shurtleff College in Alton, Ill. and married Harry Weber McCullough Jr. on Oct. 15, 1938, in Alton. She was a Life Master in Bridge.
Survivors include her daughter, Kit Cobb of McKinney; son, Harry Weber McCullough of Wheaton; five grandchildren; and faithful companion, Ralphie.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local S. P. C. A.

George William Meier of Wheeling
Services for George William Meier, 85, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Community Presbyterian Church, 196 Highland Ave., Wheeling.
Born Feb. 19, 1913, in Northbrook (Shermerville), he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at the Abington of Glenview.
Burial will be private.
A resident of Wheeling for 52 years, Mr. Meier had attended Deerfield Shields High School in Highland Park.
He was employed for 35 years as the manager of the A & P store on Central Street in Evanston and in the accounting department of Palwaukee Airport for 17 years.
He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Virginia Meier (nee Gieske); loving father of Stuart (Valerie) Meier and Glenn (Kathy) Meier; cherished grandfather of Tim, Mike, Robby, Lauren and Tiffany; and dear brother of the late Grace (the late Clifford) Melzer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. today, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Community Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.

Kenneth A. Nelson of Chicago
Services for Kenneth A. Nelson, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Benson Funeral Home, 3224 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago.
Mr. Nelson died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of the late Florence; dear father of Robert A. (Barbara); loving grandfather of Eric and Adam; and brother of Charlotte Buchholz.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Phillip A. O'Connell formerly of Arlington Heights
A funeral Mass for Phillip A. O'Connell, 78, most recently of Peoria, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Wednesday, at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Peoria.
Born Feb. 29, 1920, in Peoria, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Lexington Health Care Center in Lake Zurich. Intermentwill be in St. Mary Cemetery, Peoria.
He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine F. O'Connell; loving father of Phillip A. (Linda) O'Connell Jr. of Arlington Heights, Kevin S. (Sandra) O'Connell of Palm Desert, Calif., DennisR. (Pam) O'Connell of Deer Park and Brian P. (Amy) O'Connell of Herndon, Va.; devoted grandfather of Maureen, Phillip A. III, Sean, Patrick, James, Steven, Megan, Daniel, Brett and Reilly; and great-grandfather of Taylor.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m.
Tuesday, at Wright-Salmon Funeral Home, 2416 N. North St., Peoria.

Marion Parsons of Des Plaines
Services for Marion Parsons (nee Wilson), 69, will begin with prayers at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines, and continue with Mass at 11 a. m. at St. Mary Church, Des Plaines.
Born Oct. 14, 1929, in Evanston, she died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Des Plaines. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
Mrs. Parsons was a devoted mother and also had a great love for animals.
She was the loving mother of Charles (Jamie) Brennen, Joseph (Eileen) Parsons and Gina Parsons; cherished grandmother of Olivia and Samuel Parsons; dear sister of Richard (Gloria) Wilson, Dona (the late James) Roper and the late James (Eleanor) and Roy (Emily) Wilson; and dear owner of Blue and Buddy (her pets).
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Charles N. Poellien of Rolling Meadows
Services for Charles N. Poellien, 63, will be held at 10a. m. Wednesday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Feb. 11, 1935, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
A resident of Rolling Meadows for 35 years, Mr. Poellien was a retired police commander for the Rolling Meadows Police Department. He was also a veteran, having served in the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Betty Poellien; sons, Robert (Susan) Nixon and William (Donna) Nixon; grandchildren, Emily, William, Robert Jr. and Timothy; brother, Jack Poellien; and mother-in-law, Alice Rudin.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p. m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Meryle E. Powell of Mount Prospect
Services for Meryle E. Powell (nee Coles), 91, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Congregational Church of Christ, 1001 W. Kirchoff, Arlington Heights.
Born Jan. 30, 1907, in Cherry Valley, Ill., she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, in Des Plaines. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She was the mother of William R. (Barbara) Powell and the late Doris (James) Kolba; grandmother of six; and great-grandmother of 13.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect and from 10 a. m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the church.

Donald E. Rosborough formerly of Elgin
Services for Donald E. Rosborough, 76, most recently of Richland Center, Wis., will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Edward Davis will officiate.
Born Jan. 1, 1922, in Elgin, to John and Mabel (nee Johnson) Rosborough, he died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, in Richland Center. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery on Highland Avenue in Elgin.
Mr. Rosborough had been a resident of Elgin for most of his life before moving to Richland Center. He was employedas a parts man for the Ford dealers in the Elgin area and was also employed for 20 years with the Illinois Toll Road. He also farmed in the Elgin area before retiring.
Mr. Rosborough was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Marine Corps, and was a member of VFW Post 2267 in Richland Center. He was also a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pingree Grove and a member of the Farm Bureau in Kane County and Richland County.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Rosborough (nee Daus); daughter, Donna (Mark) Schlechtman of Fair Field, Iowa; son, Michael (Ellen) Rosborough of Stoddard, Wis.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Irene Steinmeyer, Myrtle (William) Schramm and Walter (Lucille) Rosborough, all of Elgin; and daughter-in-law, Susan Rosborough of Oak Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eugene Rosborough; brother, Earl Rosborough; and sisters, Dorothy Sarafolean and Elizabeth Schmeck.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Senkeresty of Schaumburg
Prayers for Elizabeth Senkeresty (nee Kohnke), 78, will be said at 9 a. m. Tuesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale Road), Roselle. Mass will follow at 10 a. m. at St. Walter Church. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Senkeresty wasthe beloved wife of the late Joseph; devoted mother of Jacqueline (Bud) Porter and Joseph Senkersty Jr.; fond grandmother of Kim Pollina; and great-grandmother of Nicole.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.
