Prayers for Nicholas A. Tallungan, 10, will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/ Roselle Rd.), Roselle. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.
He was the loving son of Milton and Patricia (nee Pyrz); dear brother of Michael and Nathan; and dear nephew of many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Society, P. O. Box 957672, Hoffman Estates, IL 60195, are appreciated.

Helen B. Thayer (nee Bawden), 86, of Lisle, formerly of Westmont and Clarendon Hills, died Sunday, April 11, 1999.

Walter A. Wyrobek, 70, of Downers Grove, died Friday, April 9. Arrangements were made by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Lisle, (630) 964-9392.

Elsa E. Hunter of Beaver Dam, Wis.
Services for Elsa E. Hunter, 92, were held Tuesday, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam, Wis.
Born Sept. 1, 1906, in Brooklyn, N. Y., she died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at her residence Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Mrs. Hunter was a resident of Beaver Dam since 1985, and was member of the DeMolay Mothers and Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Lewis H. Hunter of Chicago; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Hunter, who she married in 1933 in New Jersey; parents, Adam and Elizabeth (nee Roseler) Ruff; daughter, Lelia Williams; brother, Howard Ruff; and sister, Marian Flynn.
Arrangements were made by Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Lillian Anderstrom of Franklin Park
Family services for Lillian Anderstrom, 73, were held Thursday, at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove.
She died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Elmhurst Hospital.
A 50-year resident of Franklin Park, she was a retired operator with Bell Telephone.
She was the beloved sister of Doris (Howard) Zaccard;and cousin of many.

Henry A. `Hank' Babicz of North Chicago
A funeral Mass for Henry A. `Hank' Babicz, 79, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, at Queen of Peace Church, 910 14th St., North Chicago.
Born Nov. 7, 1919, in Necedah, Wis., the son of Andrew and Louise Babicz, he passed away Sunday, April 11, 1999, at the North Chicago Veterans Administration Hospital. He retired from Johnson Motors in Waukegan in 1982. Prior to that, he worked as a gardener/caretaker on several Lake Forest/Lake Bluff estates. He formerly attended Holy Family Church in North Chicago and most recently St. Dismas in Waukegan and Queen of Peace.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army in the South Pacific in the engineering corps as a heavy equipment operator. He was a lifetime charter member of North Chicago VFWPost 7981, having served as post commander, quartermaster and club manager. Hank was very involved in community organizations and projects, having been a former member of the North Chicago Chamber of Commerce, the City of North Chicago 75th anniversary committee and the North Chicago classic committee. Most recently he served as an election judge in Shields Township at Neal School in North Chicago and as a member of the Keith Ryan scholarship and golf fundraising committees for the College of Lake County. He loved Lake Michigan fishing and watching sports, especially the Bulls, Cubs and racing.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Alice V. (nee McGinty), whom he married on June 1, 1946, at St. Joseph Church in Adams, Wis.; daughters, Jean of Villa Park and Patricia (David) Titone of Springfield, Ill.; son, Michael of Gurnee; grandsons, Tom Titone of California and Patrick John of Springfield; sisters, Sr. Adelaide Babicz O. P. of Dubuque, Iowa, Margaret Babicz of Waukegan and Eleanor Davis of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; and brother, Chester (Helen) of Albuquerque, N. M.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Benjamin Babicz, Joseph `Bud' Babicz and George (Vera) Babicz; sister, Gertrude Ferguson; and infant grandson, Joseph Michael Lavety.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the Mass today, at the church.

Joseph L. Cargola formerly of Palatine
Prayers for Joseph L. Cargola, 78, of Concho, Ariz., will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. St. Theresa Church, Palatine.
Born April 15, 1920, in Chicago, he died Friday, April 9, 1999, in Arizona. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
He retired from Dresher Manufacturing, and was a member of the Italian American War Veterans, having served in the Army.
He was the husband of the late Rose; father of Paulette (Harold) Johnson and Joan (Frank) Costabile; grandfather of Rosemarie, Rikki, Rhonda, Jerry, Frank, Joe, Carrie and Kristi; and great-grandfather of 12.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Alice C. Doyle of Fort Wayne, Ind.
A funeral Mass for Alice C. Doyle (nee Imler), 83, was celebrated Tuesday, April 13, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.
Born Oct. 11, 1915, in Convoy, Ohio, she died Friday, April 9, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Naperville.
Mrs. Doyle had worked as a manager in food service for International Harvester.
She is survived by her husband, Clement H. Doyle; three sons, Thomas (Sandy) of St. Louis, Mo., Patrick of Fort Wayne and Robert of Boulder, Colo.; three daughters, Nancy Palmer of Bolingbrook, and Sharon Arnold and Judy Kostro of Naperville; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Larson and Allison Hannon of Bolingbrook, Angela Abbinante and Richard Kostro of Naperville, Patrick J. Doyle of St. Louis, Mo., Jennifer Arnold of Joliet and Danielle and Michael Doyle of Fort Wayne; nine great-grandchildren, James, Michael, Laura, Melissa and Allison Larson, Christopher and Kathryn Hannon, and Alexander and Gabriella Abbinante; three sisters, Emma Jean (Ray) Rexroth of Fort Wayne, Helen Howell and Mildred (Herbert) Shelby of Muncie, Ind.; two brothers, Paul (Marilyn) Imler of Neilsville, Wis. and Calvin (Pauline) Imler of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Local arrangements were made by Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, Naperville.

Barbara Ann Flanagan of Elgin
Barbara Ann Flanagan, 63, died Saturday, April 3, 1999, from injuries received after being hit by a van while attempting to cross Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus, Ind. Her husband, Wallace R. Flanagan survived the accident and has been in the intensive care unit at Bartholomew County Hospital in Columbus. He is expected to be transferred to Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin this week.
Barbara was born Oct. 25, 1935, in East St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Marie Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace R. Flanagan of Elgin; her son, David (Karen) Flanagan and their children, Jason, Jennifer and Justin of Elgin, her daughter, Teri (Bruce) Westmoreland and their children, Michael and Tricia of West Dundee; sister, Donna Jean (Randy) Clark of North Vernon, Ind.; nieces, Susan and Angie; and nephew, Steve.
Besides her parents, she was preceded indeath by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara was an avid nature and animal lover. She enjoyed hiking, gardening, art work and her horses.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Miller of Willow Creek Church officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Washington Reformed Cemetery on West Highland Ave., Elgin, following the services.

Jacob H. Grosch Jr. of Arlington Heights
Services for Jacob H. Grosch Jr., 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1100 Linneman Rd., Mount Prospect. He will lie in state from 10 a.m. untilthe time of the services.
Born Dec. 9, 1911, in Omro, Wis., he died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Mount Prospect.
He was the husband of the late Virginia E. (nee Larsen); father of Kenneth J. of Des Plaines, Robert J. (Barbara) of Palo Cedro, Calif. and Judith V. Grosch of Whitewater, Wis.; brother of Fred (late Marion) Grosch, Clara (late Alfred) Bach of Des Plaines, and the late Leo (Violet) Grosch and Marie (late Fred) Salzmann; and grandfather of Mark Grosch and Amy Grosch.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.

Dorothy Clem Hull Hill of Hanover Park
A gathering celebrating the life of Dorothy Clem Hull Hill, 70, formerly of the Arlington Heights and Palatine areas, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, at 1648 Forest GlenAve., Hanover Park.
Born March 6, 1929, in Somerville, Mass., to George M. and Mary Frances (nee Duggan) Clem, she died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at RML Specialty Hospital, Hinsdale. Burial will be private.
Surviving are her daughters, Diane Hull of Hanover Park, Cheryl Fenske of West Chicago and Dorice (Patrick) Griffin of Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, Ralph G. Hull III of Houston, Texas, and John L. Hull of Hanover Park; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Hull; brother, Arthur Clem; and sister, Pauline Early.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village.

Robert A. Houston of Prospect Heights
Services for Robert A. Houston, 74, also of Boca Raton, Fla., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Wyndham Hamilton Hotel, 400 Park Blvd., Itasca.
Born Oct. 28, 1924, inRushville, Ill., he died Monday, April 12, 1999, in Boca Raton, after a brief illness. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Ill.
A 34-year resident of Prospect Heights, Mr. Houston was a founder, owner and chairman of the board of O. E. I. Business Products of Itasca. He was a World War II Army veteran in the 102nd Infantry Division.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Lyn (nee Gallion); children, Richard (Suzie) Houston of Pinole, Calif. and Patricia Houston of Los Angeles, Calif.; stepchildren, Mikel (Tina) Briggs of Naperville and Julia (William) Mabie of Woodland Park, Colo.; nine grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Houston; and sister, Dorothy Buck.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect.
Memorials may be made to the Robert A. Houston Memorial Scholarship in care of Millikin University, Decatur, Ill.

Hazel E. Lagorio of Medinah
Prayers for Hazel E. Lagorio, 92, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Walter Church.
Born July 25, 1907, in Bismarck, N. D., she died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Lexington Health Care in Bloomingdale.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
A retired nurse, she was the wife of the late Stephen; mother of Stephen Lagorio and the late Patricia Balleto; sister of Florence and Alice; grandmother of Len (Cheryl) Balleto, Mike (Patti) Balleto, Tom (Kathy) Balleto, Jackie (Brad) Petit, Cindy (John) Niedzwicki, Kathryn (Vince) Battista, Steve, Jeannie, Susan and Peggy; and great-grandmother of 17.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
