Janet A. Murphy of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Janet A. Murphy (nee Heckman), 62, will be said at 9:30 a.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Julian Eymard Church.
Born in Girard, Pa., she died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
A 35-year resident of Elk Grove Village, she was a 20-year employee of McClure Associates of Lake Zurich and a member of United Airlines Clipped Wings.
Survivors include her husband, Frank J. Murphy; children, Sean P. (Aileen), Kevin J. (Tammie), Brian F. (Jennifer), Cullen T. and Maureen C. (Brian) McDonaugh; sisters, Mary Joan (John) Boyle and Carol (James) Kelley; and grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlyn, Conor, Bailey, Megan, John, Jordan and Brianna.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Countryside Center for the Handicapped.

Kenneth M. Poile of McHenry
Services for Kenneth M. Poile, 31, formerly of St. Charles, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Captain Timothy and Captain Debra Pascoe will officiate.
Born July 22, 1967, in Geneva, the son of James and Donna Poile, he died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Centegra Hospital in McHenry. Burial will be in Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah, whom he married on Sept. 8, 1990; daughter, Brittni Nocole Poile, 10, of Killeen, Texas; mother, Donna M. (Gordon) Roe of Elgin; brothers, James Jr. and Robert Poile of Elgin; sisters, Deborah L. Poile of South Elgin, Ronna (Matthew) Roe of South Elgin and Heather T. Poile of Crystal Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucy and James Poile; father, James C. Poile; and uncle, William Poile.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of ones choice.

Lester James Rebbeck Jr. of Rolling Meadows
Services for Lester James Rebbeck Jr., 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Presbyterian Church of Palatine, 800 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.
Born June 25, 1929, in Chicago, he died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Rebbeck had been employed as an art teacher for 38 years with District 25, retiring in 1993. He had taught at both South and Thomas Middle Schools. Mr. Rebbeck was a member of the Chicago Society of Artists and the Alumni of the Art Institute, and was on the board of directors of the Countryside Art Fair. He was also a deacon at the Presbyterian Church of Palatine.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Paula B. Rebbeck (nee Phillips), whom he married July 7, 1951; and son, Les (Christine) Rebbeck of Algonquin.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. He will also lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Presbyterian Church of Palatine Memorial Fund.

Constant P. Schmit formerly of Long Lake
A funeral Mass for Constant P. Schmit, 91, of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., also formerly of Chicago, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Church, Round Lake.
Born Feb. 21, 1908, in Chicago, he passed away Friday, March 26, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Round Lake and Resurrection Parish in Fort Myers Beach. He retired after 39 years as a bus driver for the CTA and was a member of Local #241. He retired to Florida in 1976.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Schmit; children, Richard (Pat) Schmit of Round Lake Beach, Thomas Schmit of Spring Grove and Mary (Jack) Shull of Johnsburg, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Contributions in his memory to the Hospice of Lee County, Florida, would be appreciated.
Arrangements were made by BurnettDane Funeral Home, Libertyville.

Raymond R. Strum, 84, of Villa Park, died Monday, April 12, 1999. Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 832-4161.

Miroslaw Wyhinnyj
Services for Miroslaw Wyhinnyj, 80, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, and continue with a liturgy at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Church.
He died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, after a long illness. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Wyhinnyj; loving father of Maria (David) Antink and Sophia (Richard) Kozlowski; dearest grandfather of Mark (Michelle), Matthew, Jason (Kimberely), Timothy, Katie and Kristen; great-grandfather of Angela; dear brother of Peter (Wira) Wyhinnyj; and fond uncle of George (Patricia) Wyhinnyj.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home, with a panachyda wake service at 7 p.m., in the chapel.

Angeline A. Arcuri
Services for Angeline A. Arcuri (nee Gebbia), 88, of Chicago, will begin with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, at Oehler Funeral Home 555 Lee St., Des Plaines, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Celestine Church, 3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park.
Born Sept. 29, 1910, in Italy, she died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
Mrs. Arcuri had been a resident of Chicago for more than 60 years and was employed as a dress designer for BorisSmolerClothing in Chicago for 40 years, until her retirement in 1985.
She was the beloved wife of the late Saverio Arcuri; loving mother of Sam (Eileen) Arcuri of Fort Worth, Texas, Robert (Jane) Arcuri of Des Plaines, and Edward (Mary Anne) Arcuri of Hillside; and devoted grandmother of Kelly (Chris) Perkins, Julie, R. M., Jim, Dan, Kristy, John (Amy) and Mike Arcuri, and Laura (Paul) Land.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Masses given in her memory would be appreciated.

James H. Austin of Des Plaines
Services for James H. Austin, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born Feb. 23, 1922, in Blackwell, Okla., he died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Austin had been a resident of Des Plaines for 35 years and had been employed as a custodian for School District 62, Niles. A veteran, he had served in the Navy during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of Helen Austin (nee Martin) and the late Elaine Austin; loving father of James H. (Chris) Austin Jr. of Franklin Park, Paul M.
(Ruth) Scalessi of Wisconsin, Rex A. Austin of Texas, Clark Austin of Des Plaines, Milton A. Cully of Woodstock, Tina Austin of Texas, Bridget (Ewell) Carter of Florida, Mary (Hector) Ramirez of Florida and Emily (Jim) Stafiej of Mississippi; dear brother of Rosella Galla of Florida; and devoted grandfather of many.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

John M. Boor lifelong resident of Gilberts
Funeral services for John M. Boor, 65, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 18 N 377 Galligan Road, Dundee. The Rev. Allan R. Buss andVicar Kyle Castens will officiate.
Born in Chicago Feb. 13, 1934, the son of John and Zuzanna (nee Nosko) Boor, he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
Mr. Boor was the former mayor of Gilberts, and served as deputy fire chief for 27 years with the Rutland-Dundee Fire Department. He was an active and devoted member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served as an elder and a former trustee. He was a 19-year employee of Spring Hill Ford in East Dundee, where he worked as an N. I. A. S. E. auto technician. John had worked as a certified Ford auto technician and worked on Ford products for 43 years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley J. Boor (nee Flannery), they married Dec. 13, 1952; son, John M. (Kathy) of Frankfort; daughters, Jo Ann (Scott) Hokanson of Algonquin and Julie Ann Starks (Mike) Joswick of Belvidere; five grandchildren, Amanda (Chris Petit), Jessica, Jenny Lyn, Lea and Matthew; two great-grandsons, Xavier and Lucas; sister, Anne Kaschub of Elgin; nephew, Wayne Kaschub of Elgin; and niece, Connie Kaschubof Atlanta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m., at the church.
Please omit flowers; memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Miracle Fund.
Arrangements were made by Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee.

Oliver H. Buchholz of Wheeling
Prayers for Oliver H. Buchholz, 89, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (two blocks south of Dundee Road), Wheeling, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church.
Born Jan. 14, 1910, in Sumner, Iowa, he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Buchholz was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors and the Arlington Heights VFW.
He was the husband of Leora (nee Malicki); brother of the late Stanley (the late Geneva), Lester (the late Alfreda), Dean and Dale Buchholz; brother-in-law of Maxine Buchholz and Florence Sassman; anduncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Armond B. Craven of Itasca
A prayer service for Armond B. Craven, 76, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca.
Mr. Craven passed away Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospice House. Interment will be private.
He was the husband of the late Aldine (nee Galloni); father of Jeffery (Melody) of Itasca, Joanne (Robert) Edwards and Jeanne (Frederic) Clausen; and grandfather of eight.
Memorial visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
