Johanna A. `Jo' Dagenais lifelong resident of Naperville
Funeral services for Johanna A. `Jo' Dagenais, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 21 E. Franklin, Naperville, with the Revs. John M. Gillham and Duane Mevis officiating.
Born March 22, 1913, in Naperville, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at her home.
Interment will be in Naperville Cemetery.
Mrs. Dagenais was a member of the Naperville Woman's Club andNaperville Garden Club. She had been a member of Wesley United Methodist Church since 1941, and was a member of the Lydia Circle, Church Women United and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer A. Dagenais, whom she married July 1, 1939; son, Douglas (Christine) Dagenais of Winfield; six daughters, Donna Dagenais of Palo Alto, Calif., Judy Ann Dagenais of Naperville, JoAnn (Russell) Kolkay of Naperville, Marlene (Bernard) Kiefer of Nashville, Tenn., Deborah (William) Longer of Hobart, Ind. and Carole (Alan) Christensen of Naperville; two sisters, Min Steininger and Clem Matter, both of Naperville; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Amelia (nee Nargang) Haman and by her sister, Eva Bauman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville.
Memorials in Mrs. Dagenais' name may be made to the Wesley Scholarship Fund.

Joseph C. Dellacqua of Elk Grove Village
Services for Joseph C. Dellacqua, 88, will begin with chapelprayers at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road (three blocks south of Biesterfield Road), Elk Grove Village, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at Queen of the Rosary Church, 680 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village.
Born in Italy, he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Dellacqua was a resident of Elk Grove Village for 27 years and was retired from the Illinois Tollway.
He was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn R. Dellacqua (nee Templin), who preceded him in 1998; loving father of Jerrold (Barbara) Dellacqua, Richard (Eileen) Dellacqua, Barbara Vogt and Leona (James) Robinson; proud grandfather of Christopher, Dale, Bradley, Gina and Tony Dellacqua, Bryan Vogt and Brett and Andy Robinson; great-grandfather of Ryan, Chelsey, Zachary and Agosto; and dear brother of Maria Castellano of Italy and the late Lena Bravieri.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral chapel.

Mary J. Dickhaut (nee McQuilkin), 79, of Villa Park, died Monday, April 12, 1999. Arrangements were made by BrustVilla Park Funeral Home, (630) 834-6656.

Lucille R. `Babs' Doherty of Arlington Heights
Prayers for Lucille R. Doherty (nee Whelan), 95, will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 Park St., Arlington Heights.
Born Nov. 1, 1903, in Oak Park, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at ManorCare Health Center, Rolling Meadows. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
Mrs. Doherty was a longtime resident of Oak Park and had worked at Marshall Field's for 28 years. She had also worked for Amling's Flowerland for 10 years.
Since 1977 she had been a resident of Arlington Heights and a member of the Our Lady of the Wayside Young at Hearts Club and the St. James FriendshipClub.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Lattan and the late James E. Doherty; loving mother of Patricia (Robert) Lowe of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and James E. (Therese) Doherty of Arlington Heights; cherished grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of 19; and great-great-grandmother of one.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or contributions to the Ashton Lowe Medical Expense Fund (great-grandson, who is suffering from cancer), c/o the funeral home, would be appreciated.

Stella J. Drewniak of Rolling Meadows
Prayers for Stella J. Drewniak (nee Borowiec), 76, will be saidat 8:30 a.m. Friday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Colette Church, 3900 S. Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows.
Born Oct. 3, 1922, in Chicago, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Drewniak retired as a factory laborer with Signode Steel in Glenview after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Drewniak enjoyed cooking, and always made sure her family was well-fed.
She was the wife of the late Joseph `Joe' Drewniak; mother of Stella `Toni' Baker, Joseph J. (Pat) Drewniak and Daniel (Judy) Drewniak; grandmother of five; and great-grandmother of four.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Barbara Ann Flanagan of Elgin
Barbara Ann Flanagan, 63, died Saturday, April 3, 1999, from injuries received after being hit by a van while attempting to cross Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus, Ind. Her husband, Wallace R. Flanagan survived the accident and has been in the intensive care unit at Bartholomew County Hospital in Columbus. He is expected to be transferred to Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin this week.
Barbara was born Oct. 25, 1935, in East St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Marie Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace R. Flanagan of Elgin; her son, David (Karen) Flanagan and their children, Jason, Jennifer and Justin of Elgin, her daughter, Teri (Bruce) Westmoreland and their children, Michael and Tricia of West Dundee; sister, Donna Jean (Randy) Clark of North Vernon, Ind.; nieces, Susan and Angie; and nephew, Steve.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara was an avid nature and animal lover. She enjoyed hiking, gardening, art work and her horses.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Miller of Willow Creek Church officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Washington Reformed Cemetery on West Highland Ave., Elgin, following the services.

Frances A. Grissom of Arlington Heights
A memorial service for Frances A. Grisson, 79, formerly of Inverness, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Lutheran Home chapel, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights.
Born Aug. 5, 1919, she died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Beach Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Ind.
Mrs. Grissom was a registered nurse and had been employed at West Suburban Hospital prior to her retirement. She was an active member of the Girl Scout Council and the Northwest Community Hospital Auxiliary.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Raymond F. Grissom; loving mother of James H. (Ceil) Grissom, Cindy (Jack) Letarte, Catherine (John) Garra and the late Alan `Jerry' (Barbara) Grissom; devoted grandmother of 13; and great-grandmother of 20.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home or to the Greater Chicagoland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
Arrangements were made by G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines.

Nadine M. Karwoski (nee Wyatt), 87, of Roselle, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999. Arrangements were made by Michael's Funeral Home, Schaumburg, (847) 891-2900.

John E. `Jack' Kirmse of Carpentersville
Funeral Mass for John E. `Jack' Kirmse, 71, will be celebrated at noon Saturday, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee, with the Rev. W. Michael McKinstra officiating.
Born in Elgin Oct. 25, 1927, the son of Edward and Madolyn (nee Dwyer) Kirmse, he died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Gilberts.
Mr. Kirmse was a lifelong resident of the Dundee/Carpentersville area. A Marine Corps veteran, he served his country from 1946 to 1948. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Mr. Kirmse was employed by Haeger Pottery in East Dundee. He was a lifelong member of St. Catherine of Siena Church where he served as an usher.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Phyllis I. (Collett) Kirmse, they married May 29, 1954; sons, Kevin (Julia) of Mesa, Ariz., Patrick (Meredith) of Carpentersville and Thomas (Claudia) of East Dundee; granddaughters, Madeline Sarah and Erin Elizabeth; four sisters, Katherine (Thomas) McEnerney of East Dundee, Janice (John) White of Michigan City, Ind., Mary Dougherty of Carpentersville and Helen (William) Menke of Rockford; three brothers, Phillip (Mary Ann) Kirmse and Edward Kirmse, both of Elgin, and Gerald of Carpentersville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Larry, in 1960.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass Saturday, at the church.

Johanna Van Landuyt of Mundelein
Services for Johanna `Gramma Jo' Van Landuyt (nee Bouma), 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Born Jan. 25, 1912, in Libertyville, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Winchester House. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fremont Center.
Mrs. Van Landuyt was a lifelong resident of Mundelein and a graduate of Warren High School. She was retired from the J. E. Hoffman Company of Mundelein.
Johanna was a member of the Mundelein Senior Center and enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice Van Landuyt; loving mother of Maurice `Pete' Van Landuyt of Idaho, MariLynn (Lester) Geu of Mundelein; and Mary Jo (Thomas) Carter of Vernon Hills; proud grandmother of Michelle Geu and Amber and Michael Carter; and dear sister of the late Cornelius (Mabel), William (Janet) and John Bouma.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Gordon R. Lange formerly of Bartlett
Services for Gordon R. Lange, 68, most recently of Mesa, Ariz., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett.
Born Dec. 15, 1930, in Elgin, he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Bartlett Cemetery.
Mr. Lange was a former building commissioner for the Village of Bartlett, and a Naval veteran of the Korean War.
He was the husband of the late Gloria Lange; father of Terry Lange (Bruce) Morton of St. Charles, Chuck (Diane) Lange of Hampshire, Dick (Laurie) Lange of Palm Harbor, Fla.; grandfather of Scott, Gregg, David, Crystal, Kevin, Phil and Matthew; and beloved of Betty Holmstrom.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge, Suite 100, Lombard, IL 60148, would be appreciated.

Carmella McArthur of Schaumburg since 1959
Prayers for Carmella McArthur (nee Reda), 90, will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Marcelline Church.
Born May 6, 1908, in Chicago, she died Monday, April 12, 1999, in Arizona. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
She was the wife of the late Ray; mother of Gail (Ed) Brownstein of Phoenix, Ariz. and the late Robert and Richard; grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 19; and sister of Marge Talmadge, Minnie Jahnke and the late Frank, Michael, Rose and Mary.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
