John T. McPhail of Arlington Heights
Services for John T. McPhail, 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.
Born April 30, 1922, in Eldorado, Ill., he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at his home.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. McPhail worked as a consultant for International Harvester in Chicago for 43 years. An Army veteran of World War II, he had at one time served as head of the International Harvester Veteran's Group.
He was the husband of Lucille A. (nee Anglin), who he wed Feb. 23, 1946; father of Cathy Burns of Palatine, Paul (Maria) McPhail of Arlington Heights and Michele (Steve) Jensen of Wheeling; grandfather of Darryl, Graham, Clark, Valerie, Rebecca, Melanie and Delaney; dear son of the late Matthew and Jean McPhail; brother of Jean Turner of Forest Park, Martha (Edward) Schworles of Chicago and the late Philip McPhail; fond brotherin-law of Clara McPhail of Oak Park; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Memorial Hospital, 2300 Children's Plaza, Chicago, IL 60614.
Ann Marie Morgan, 20, of Burr Ridge, died Sunday, April 11. Arrangements were made by Cypress Funeral Home, Glendale Heights, (630) 653-7666.

Janet A. Murphy of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Janet A. Murphy (nee Heckman), 62, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Rd. (three blocks south of Biesterfield Rd.), Elk Grove Village. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Julian Eymard Church.
Born in Girard, Pa., she died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
A 35-year resident of Elk Grove Village, she was a 20-year employee of McClure Associates of Lake Zurich and a member of United Airlines Clipped Wings.
Survivors include her husband, Frank J. Murphy; children, Sean P. (Aileen), Kevin J. (Tammie), Brian F. (Jennifer), Cullen T. and Maureen C. (Brian) McDonaugh; sisters, Mary Joan (John) Boyle and Carol (James) Kelley; and grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlyn, Conor, Bailey, Megan, John, Jordan and Brianna.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Countryside Center for the Handicapped.

Eugene Z. Orlowski lifelong of North Chicago
Mass of Christian burial for Eugene Z. Orlowski, 68, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at Queen of Peace Church, with interment to follow in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Born Sept. 26, 1930, in North Chicago, he died Monday, April 12, 1999, at the VA Medical Center in North Chicago.
Mr. Orlowski graduated from Marquette University in Wisconsin. He was a former teacher at Novak Schooland retired as principal of Fair Haven School in Diamond Lake. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War, and a member of Queen of Peace Church.
Gene is survived by his brother, Ray Orlowski of North Chicago; sister, Regina Miller of Waukegan; sister-in-law, Ellen Orlowski; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bruno and Mary Orlowski; two sisters, Elizabeth Vecchio and Dorothy Smolcich; and brother, Ted Orlowski.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, at Salata Funeral Home, 729-14th St., NorthChicago.

Joseph J. Ortlieb of Streamwood for 12 years
Prayers for Joseph J. Ortlieb III, 45, will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 485 S. Bartlett Road, Streamwood, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Streamwood.
Born Dec. 8, 1953, in New York, he died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in Erie, Pa. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Among his many achievements, Mr. Ortlieb developed the successful Long Grove Landscape, Inc., as well as generously supported many charitable causes.
He was the loving father of Abigail Tovah Ortlieb, Sarah Michele Ortlieb and Joseph Ortlieb IV; beloved friend of Mary Leitsinger of Erie, Pa.; dear son of Joseph and Carol Ortlieb of Boynton Beach, Fla.; beloved brother of Betsy (Mark) Fill, John Ortlieb, Nancy (Lyle) Zeiss, Thomas (Vicki) Ortlieb and Patricia (Thomas) Cozza; nephew of William and Lois Ortlieb and Christine Sullivan; and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Lisa M. Parzy of Bartlett
Prayers for Lisa M. Parzy (nee Steggers), 34, will be held at 9:15 a.m. Friday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Born Dec. 27, 1964, in Chicago, she died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
Mrs. Parzy is survived by her sons, Mark II and Michael Parzy; husband, Mark Parzy; parents, Richard and Joyce Steggers; sisters, Wendy (Chris) Moore and Dawn (David) Smalley; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Alexandria and Andrew; andbrother-in-law, Bob Parzy.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Marie Marion Pfennig
Services for Marie Marion Pfennig, 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Apostles Lutheran Church, 10433 Fullerton Ave., Melrose Park, where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake.
She was the beloved wife of the late Fred RobertPfennig Jr.; loving mother of Bob (Jeanne) and Wayne (Patty) Pfennig; and loving grandmother of Becky, Matt, Gary, Rachel and Jillian.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Cuneo-Columbian Funeral Home, 10300 W. Grand Ave. (one block east of Mannheim Road), Franklin Park.

Kenneth M. Poile of McHenry
Services for Kenneth M. Poile, 31, formerly of St. Charles, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Captain Timothy and Captain Debra Pascoe will officiate.
Born July 22, 1967, in Geneva, the son of James and Donna Poile, he died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Centegra Hospital in McHenry. Burial will be in Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah, whom he married on Sept. 8, 1990; daughter, Brittni Nocole Poile, 10, of Killeen, Texas; mother, Donna M. (Gordon) Roe of Elgin; brothers, James Jr. and Robert Poile of Elgin; sisters, Deborah L. Poile of South Elgin, Ronna (Matthew) Roe of South Elgin and Heather T. Poile of Crystal Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death byhis grandparents, Lucy and James Poile; father, James C. Poile; and uncle, William Poile.

Nicholas P. Poulos of Lake Villa
Services for Nicholas P. Poulos, 43, a resident of Lake Villa for the past 2 1/2 years, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Born April 29, 1955, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at home. Burial will be private.
He was the beloved husband of Victoria Poulos (nee Nance); dear son of Mary Ann Poulos and the late Perry Poulos; cherishedgrandson of Mae Sweeney; dear brother of Stephan (Kelley), Andrew (Cheryl) and Beth Poulos; and fond uncle of Coner, Allison and Scott.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Edwin M. Robinson of Libertyville
Services for Edwin M. Robinson, 77, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at United Methodist Church of Libertyville, 429 Brainerd, Libertyville.
Born June 8, 1921, in Worchester, Mass., he died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mr. Robinson had retired from American Hospital Supply and was a graduate of Emory University, where he had attended Emory School of Law. An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Robinson was a decorated commissioned officer of the 80th division. He was a member of the Order of the Purple Heart and the Libertyville American Legion, and also of the Baxter Alumni Club.
Survivors include his son, Donald (Sue) Robinson of Mercer Island, Wash.; daughters, Susan (Pat) Julian of Libertyville, Heather (John) Haggerty of Skokie and Marianne (David) Baker of Salisbury, Md.; and grandchildren, Sarah, Denny, and Grace Haggerty, Samantha and Kelsey Julian, and Cassidy and Kirk Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelaide.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Irene A. Sauer of Des Plaines
Services for Irene A. Sauer (nee Wiebe), 78, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born April 11, 1921, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at her home.
Burial will be private.
A homemaker, Mrs. Sauer had been a resident of Des Plaines for 47 years. She was a volunteer at the Des Plaines Public Library for five years and a member of the Women ofthe Moose Lodge 835. An Army veteran of World War II, she was a member of the American Legion in Des Plaines and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence E. Sauer; loving mother of Irene V. (Larry Jr.) Noesen of Des Plaines and Diana L. (Richard) Vesely of Des Plaines; devoted grandmother of Jeffrey Noesen and Deborah VanZanten; great-grandmother of Tori Hook and Sadie VanZanten; and dear sister of Richard (Mary Lou) Wiebe of Florida, Arthur (Ingrid) Wiebe of Des Plaines, Thomas (Viola) Wiebe of Arlington Heights and the late Lucille (Al) Hill.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Ben Savaiano of Bloomingdale
Services for Ben Savaiano, 69, will begin with prayers at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Church in Addison. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Savaiano was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was the beloved husband of Jewel Savaiano (nee Echlin); devoted father of Dominick (Helen), Patrick (Shari), Dino (Kim) and Tim (Tracey) Savaiano and Julieann (Tony) Fulcaro; dear brother of Frank (Marie), Thomas (Ida) and the late Tony (Michalene) Savaiano; and fond grandfatherof nine.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
