Constant P. Schmit formerly of Long Lake
A funeral Mass for Constant P. Schmit, 91, of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., also formerly of Chicago, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Church, Round Lake.
Born Feb. 21, 1908, in Chicago, he passed away Friday, March 26, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Round Lake and Resurrection Parish in Fort Myers Beach. He retired after 39 years as a bus driver for the CTA and was a member of Local #241. He retired to Florida in 1976.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Schmit; children, Richard (Pat) Schmit of Round Lake Beach, Thomas Schmit of Spring Grove and Mary (Jack) Shull of Johnsburg, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Contributions in his memory to the Hospice of Lee County, Florida, would be appreciated.

Bernice G. Sell of Arlington Heights
Services for Bernice G. Sell (nee Fick), 79, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights.
Born April 30, 1919, she departed this life to be with her Lord on Monday, April 12, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge.
She was the beloved wife for 54 years of the late Emil Sell; loving mother of Emil E. (Judy) Sell and Kenneth (Jane) Sell; devoted grandmother of Beth (Tim) Mainard, Laura (Matt) LaCroix, and Scott and Craig Sell; great-grandmother of Caitlyn Mainard; and dear sister of the late William and Bernard Sell, Elanore Shaker and Edna Karnatz.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Lutheran Home.

Marguerite L. Slocumb of Naperville
Mass for Marguerite L. Slocumb (nee Smith), 89, formerly ofOak Park and River Forest, will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Residence, 1400 Brookdale Road, Naperville, IL 60563.
Born in the Lawndale district on the west side of Chicago Aug. 11, 1909, she died Monday, April 12, 1999, at St. Patrick's Residence, Naperville, where she had been a resident for the past two years. Private burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mrs. Slocumb was a registered dietician who achieved the rank of 1st Lt. in the Army Air Corps during World War II. She was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament Grammar School, Trinity High School and Illinois Institute of Technology. She was employed as a substitute teacher in the Chicago public school district for many years, and was a home economics teacher at Austin High School from 1967 through 1977.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Slocumb; loving mother of Frank (Kay), Marguerite (Michael) Seymour and Catherine Slocumb; devoted grandmother of Jack Slocumb, Lauren, Jeff, Joseph and David Seymour; dear sister of the late Rose Heintz, Helen, Mary, Catherine and Francis Smith; and dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Drechsler-Brown Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Residence.

Margie Etta Svatik former 41-year resident of Union
Services for Margie Etta Svatik, 75, most recently of Capron, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. Pastor Cheryl Armstrong will officiate.
Born March 30, 1924, in Bruceville, Ind., to Charles and Ruth (nee Harwell) Hauhe, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Interment will be in Marengo City Cemetery.
Survivors include her three children, Martin R. Svatik of Capron, Judy Fuller of Rockford and Karen (Jim) Proctor of Marengo; three grandchildren, Robert and Kristin Fuller and Hannah Proctor; sister, Betty (Bill) Watson of Martin, Tenn.; and brother, Harry (Dean) Hauhe of Martin, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Svatik, to whom she was married Feb. 16, 1941 in Iowa and passed away Aug. 18, 1978; infant granddaughter, Amy Sue Fuller; sister, Kathryn Wauford; infant brother, Donald Hauhe; and brother, Charles Hauhe Jr.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Marengo Rescue Squad or American Heart Association.

William S. Teets of Prospect Heights
Prayers for William S. Teets, a 45-year resident of Prospect Heights, will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Church.
Born in Effingham, Ill., he died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mr. Teets, an Army veteran of World War II, was a charter member of the World War II War Memorial in Washington, D. C. He was a retired electrician and member of Local #134, I. B. E. W. and the Republican National Committee.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis (nee Lavorci); son, Gregory J.
Teets of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers, Jack (Angie) Teets of Effingham and James (Elnora) Teets of Forrestville, Md.; sisters, Rose (Eugene) Coulter of Prospect Heights and Louise(the late Donald) Andrade of Chicago; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Juanita Williams of Elgin
Private funeral services will be held for Juanita Williams, 73, of Elgin.
Born June 8, 1925, in Mounds, Ill., she died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at her home.
Burial will be private, in Bluff City Cemetery.
A resident of Elgin for many years, Juanita had been employed by the Elgin Mental Health Center before retiring. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Elgin.
Survivors include her first cousin, John Brownof Chicago; second cousins, John T. Brown and Linda Brown Bell, both of Chicago; and her aunt, Eula Mae Scott of New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Lawrence Robinson.
Arrangements were made by Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.

Robert W. Wright of Des Plaines
A funeral Mass for Robert W. Wright, 66, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Our Lady of Hope Church.
Born April 2, 1933, in Chicago, he died Monday, April 12, 1999, at his home. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mr. Wright served as president of Vanderson Corporation for 15 years.
He was the husband of Eileen V. Wright (nee Johnson); father of Robert (Rose) Wright of Schaumburg, Michael Wright of Des Plaines, Jayne (Duke) Sebastian of Schaumburg, Shawn Parker of St. Charles and Carolen Rodgers of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother of the late Frank and Cheryl Wright; grandfather of Katie (Mike) Gochis, David and Brian Sebastian, Justin and Lindsey Parker, Nicholas and Robert Rodgers, and Steven and Katelyn Wright; and great-grandson, Sydney Gochis.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

August W. Anneberg of Naperville
Funeral services and interment for August W. Anneberg, 85, will take place Saturday, in Fort Scott, Kan.
Born Oct. 24, 1913, in Leavenworth, Kan., he died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Tabor Hills Health Care Facility in Naperville.
He had been a resident of Naperville since 1994, moving from Fort Scott. Mr.
Anneberg received his BA from the University of Kansas and taught music for more than 30 years in Prescott, Kan. He also owned and managed Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Scott. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, Retired Teachers Association, all in Fort Scott, as well as the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Scott, where he served as a deacon. Mr. Anneberg was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Virginia (Jack) Pradel of Naperville; sister, Emily (Charles) Graham of Blythe, Calif.; grandchildren, Timothy (Vickie) Pradel of West Chicago, Cris (Lisa) Pradel of Aurora and Jacqui Pradel of Naperville; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Agnes (nee Trollman) Anneberg; wife, Virginia (nee Saunders) in 1983; sisters, Naomi Quick and Caroline Kelly; and brother, Frank.

Cora K. Bestmann of Mount Prospect
Services for Cora K. Bestmann (nee Jaacks), 98, will be private.
Born Feb. 19, 1901, in Niles, she died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at ManorCare Health Center in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
She was the wife of the late August; mother of Evelyn L. (Edwin) Bartz of Barrington; grandmother of Linda J. (Don) Markus of Palatine; great-grandmother of Eric R. Hasley of DesPlaines, Shaun M. (Tammy) Hasley of Cary, Trent A. (Mary) Hasley of Mount Prospect, Diane Markus of Palatine and Laura Markus of Palatine; and great-great-grandmother of Brittany, August, Mitchell and Kenneth.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.

Katherine Budin of Arlington Heights
Prayers for Katherine Budin, 94, will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 W. Park St., Arlington Heights.
Born March 9, 1905, in Austria, she died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
She was the wife of the late John G. Budin; mother of John (Patricia A.) Budin of Arlington Heights and Mary Anne Leonard of Valhalla, N. Y.; sister of the late Nicholas Demcio; grandmother of Anne C. Budin, John J. Budin, Maria B. (Tony) Marchlewski, Paul M. (Ann Dwyer) Budin, Katherine M. Zimanzl, Ross F. Leonard and Tracy A. Leonard; and great-grandmother of Tommy, Christopher, Anthony, Sean and Emily.

Sally J. Callison of Hoffman Estates

Born June 13, 1928, in Detroit, Mich., she died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be private.
Retired, she had been a clerk for Sears Roebuck Service Center in Palatine for 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jack E.; children, Daniel, Terry (Christine), Patrick (Sheryl), Kevin (Mary), Susan (Richard) Schuricht and Judith Marton; and grandchildren, Charmaine, Nicole, Alexander, Shaun, Megan, Emily and Matthew.
