Armond B. `Craig' Craven of Itasca
A prayer service for Armond B. `Craig' Craven, 71, will be held at 4 p.m. today, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca.
Mr. Craven passed away Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Hospice House. Interment will be private.
He was the husband of the late Aldine (nee Galloni); father of Jeffery (Melody) of Itasca, Joanne (Robert) Edwards and Jeanne (Frederic) Clausen; and grandfather of Jennifer, Thomas, Lori, Jacquelyn, Kimberly, James, Amy and Emily.
Memorial visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Margaret A. Dahle of Mount Prospect
Services for Margaret A. Dahle, 72, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mount Prospect, IL 60056.
Born Nov. 22, 1926, in Minot, N. D., she died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights.
A homemaker, she was the wife of Willard Dahle; mother of Douglas (Michelle), Craig (Lisa) and Mark (Kim); and grandmother of Kristi, Kim, Spencer, Elizabeth, Megan and Mallisa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services Monday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church (see address above), would be appreciated.

William L. Donovan Jr. of Libertyville
Services for William L. Donovan Jr., 61, will be held at 7 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. A memorial Mass in Polish will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at St. Constance Parish, 5843 W. Strong, Chicago.
Born Dec. 25, 1937, in Melrose Park, he passed away Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Lake Forest Hospital.
Mr. Donovan had been a Libertyville resident for the past 27 years. He was a chemical engineer and had received his bachelor of scienceand master of science degrees from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. Mr. Donovan was the director of compliance operations in the Pharmaceutical Products Division of Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago and was an active member of the American Society of Quality Control. He also loved classical music and was a `super' with the Lyric Opera in Chicago.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine Sherry Donovan of Libertyville; sons, William L. (Barbara) Donovan III of Park Ridge and David Donovan of Rochester, Minn.; and grandchildren, Jack and Katherine Donovan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Genevieve Donovan.
Friends of the family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home, with services at 7 p.m.

Lucille Doyle of Arlington Heights
Services for Lucille Doyle (nee Shill), 73, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. James Church, 841 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.
Born Nov. 2, 1925, in Aurora, she died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
She was the beloved wife for 53 years of John A. Doyle; loving mother of Linda (Peter A.) Long of Hustisford, Wis., and the late Patricia A. Doyle; cherished grandmother ofScott, Tricia, Tori and Tracy; dear sister of Harry I. (Jan) Shill, John V. (Beverly) Shill and Jessie (Maxine) Phillips; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Masses in her memory would be appreciated.

Violet Hayes formerly of Lombard
Prayers for Violet Hayes (nee Romanauskas), 85, of Winfield, will be said at 9:30 a.m. today, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Church. Rev. Herbert Essig will officiate.
Mrs. Hayes died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
She was a 38-year Lombard resident.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Kathleen) of North Carolina and Ralph (Patricia) of Herrin, Ill.; daughter, JoAnne Langeler of Winfield; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward (Rita) Budvidas of Naperville.
Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Carl G.; and son, Richard.

Dorothy Clem Hull Hill of Hanover Park
A gathering celebrating the life of Dorothy Clem Hull Hill, 70, formerly of the Arlington Heights and Palatine areas, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today, at 1648 Forest Glen Ave., Hanover Park.
Born March 6, 1929, in Somerville, Mass., to George M. and Mary Frances (nee Duggan) Clem, she died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at RML Specialty Hospital, Hinsdale. Burial will be private.
Surviving are her daughters, Diane Hull of Hanover Park, Cheryl Fenske of West Chicago and Dorice (Patrick) Griffin of Grand Prairie, Texas; sons, Ralph G. Hull III of Houston, Texas, and John L. Hull of Hanover Park; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Hull; brother, Arthur Clem; and sister, Pauline Early.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village.
Arrangements were made by Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee.

Barbara C. Jeffrey of Elmhurst
Services for Barbara C. Jeffrey (nee Vanco), 63, formerly of Bellwood, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church.
Born March 3, 1936, in Chicago, she died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
A resident of Elmhurst since 1977, Barbara had been a real estate broker in the area for many years. She had worked for Schiller, Remax, Prudential and, most recently, Reedy, as a real estate broker, and for Snow Manufacturing in Bellwood and Special T in Hillside as a purchasing agent.
She was the loving mother of John Michael Jeffrey; `Best Friend' of Jeri Lynn Else; sister of Leslie (Barbara) Vanco, David (Barbara) Vanco and Victor (Carolyn) Vanco; grandmother of two; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Eve S. Johnson of Campton Township
The family of Evelyn Steinbeck Johnson will hold a gathering of friends and family from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Garfield Farm Museum in Campton Township.
Eve, born Aug. 6, 1922, near Cunningham, Ky., died at her Campton home on April 2, 1999. Founder of Garfield Farm Museum, land trust Campton Historic Agricultural Lands, and Restorations of Kane County, and a board member of Campbell Center Restoration - College Association of Mount Carroll, Ill., she had worked with dozens of regional historic preservation efforts in spite of a 27-year fight with breast cancer.
A 1942 bachelor of science graduate of Murray State University, she taught school and later joined the war effort, manufacturing TNT. In 1946 she married Martin E. Johnson of rural Elburn. She worked through the 1950s at the Little Traveler in Geneva. In 1992 Mrs. Johnson was designated the Distinguished Illinois Preservationist by the Landmark Preservation Council of Illinois. She was an active member of the Thornapple Questers chapter and the Pottawatomie Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Madison Steinbeck and Annye Choice Moyers Steinbeck; in-laws, A. Martin and Anna Peterson Johnson; brother, Stanford Steinbeck; and sisters-in-law, Eloise Bragg Steinbeck and Therese Pobutsky Steinbeck.
Surviving are her husband, Martin E. Johnson; daughter, Ceil `Chris' Choice Johnson; son, Jerome Martin Johnson; daughter-in-law, Ann Brack Johnson; brother, Julyn G. Steinbeck of Bardwell, Ky.; and niece, Wanda Marie Steinbeck, also of Bardwell.
Eve's ashes will be scattered in Illinois and Kentucky. Memorials in her name may be made to Garfield Farm Museum.

Theresa M. Leibrandt of Elgin
Services for Theresa M. Leibrandt (nee Lullo), 76, will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Marcelline Church.
Born March 15, 1923, in Chicago, she died Friday, April 16, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
She was the mother of Vivian (Stan) Kolodziej of Schaumburg; stepmother of John Leibrandt of Schaumburg; sister of Joseph (Virginia) Lullo of Naperville and Marian Lullo of Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandmother of Kristen, Kendra, Kyle, Stephen, Thomas, Barbara and Kathryn.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Frieda C. Pabst
Services for Frieda C. Pabst (nee Rappold), 94, of Chicago, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Skindingsrude Funeral Home, 413 W. Main St., Whitewater, Wis.
Born Feb. 8, 1905, in Richmond, Wis., she died Friday, April 16, 1999, at St. Paul's House in Chicago.
She was the mother of Edward (Rosemary) Pabst ofDes Plaines; grandmother of James (Kathryn) Pabst, Gina (Ronald) Vera, John (Janea) Pabst and Amy Pabst; and great-grandmother of Emma, Theodore and Anne Pabst.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Gust E. Palm of Batavia
A memorial reception for Gust E. Palm, 78, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at Riverview Banquets, 1117 N. Washington Ave., Batavia.
Born Oct. 17, 1920, in Aurora, the son of Charles William and Adelia (nee Hawkinson) Palm, he passed away Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Gebhardt of Chicago; son, Frank Palm of Batavia; grandchildren, Shane Palm of Colorado Springs, Colo., Tony Dunovsky of Batavia, Ryan McFarland of Batavia and Lalia Tuggle of Chicago; great-granddaughter, Alison Palm of Colorado Springs; and brothers and sisters, George (Mickey) Palm of Escondido, Calif., John (Thelma) Palm of Niota, Ill., Charlotte Holmes of Niota, James (Gerri) Palm of Benerndos, Brazil and Doris Goodman of Mount Orab, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie M. (nee Welander) Palm, whom he married on Nov. 5, 1946, in Burlington, Iowa; and brothers and sisters, Charles Palm, Mitilda Ottinger, Lillian Grindle and Helen Davis.
Arrangements were made by Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia.
