Andrew Zook of Naperville
Prayers for Andrew Zook, 79, will be said at 9 a.m. today, at BeidelmanKunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 26 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Born Dec. 31, 1919, in Chicago, he died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at Edward Hospital. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
He was an Army infantry veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater of operations including New Zealand and Australia.
He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion Post in Cicero. He had been employed as a cable yardsman with Western Electric in Cicero for 35 years, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his sister, Ann Antepenko of Clearwater, Fla.; sister-inlaw, Dorothy Zuk of Lockport, Ill.; nieces, Barbara (Richard) Burnett of Pueblo, Colo., Sandra (Joseph) Plata of Lemont, Ill., Linda (Joseph) Udziela of Naperville, Deborah (Walter) Schultz of New Lenox, Ill., Diane (Fred) Monari of Lockport, Donna (Joseph) Matzke of Lockport and Pamela (Carl) Federici of Crivitz, Wis.; and many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Ludwidga (nee Sperka) Zook; brothers, Alex andJohnny Zuk; and nephew, Nickey Zuk.

Rosalie Harriet Adamski of Northfield
Services for Rosalie Harriet Adamski (nee Biba) will be held at11 a.m. Monday, at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 1962 Old Willow Road, Northfield.
She died Friday, April 23, 1999, in Barrington. Entombment will be in Maryhill Mausoleum, Niles.
She was the beloved wife of Dr. Edwin J. AdamskiSr.; loving mother of Dr.
Edwin J. (Sandra) Adamski Jr., Roberta (Thaddeus) Mirski, Donna (Casimir) Zgonina and Susan (Anthony) Stevens; cherished grandmother of Jeanine, Jonathon (Kim) and Christopher (Lisa) Mirski, Kimberly (James) Brunner, Jeffrey Zgonina, Kandace (Frank) Kmet, Matthew Stevens, Elizabeth, Edwin and Sarah Adamski, Lisa Stevens (Tom) Lynn, and Mark (Chance) Stevens; great-grandmother of Michael, Amber and Kristin Mirski, Jaclyn and Cassandra Mirski, Chloe, Christian and Lily Brunner, Cole Kmet, and Brandon, Kenna Lynn and Regan Stevens; dear sister of Harry (Irene) Biba and the late Antoinette, Katherine, Verna, John, Carolyn, Angela and Stephanie; and dear sister-in-law of Henrietta, Sylvia, Dr. Richard, Loretta, Cecilia, Ester and the late Medard.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church.

Robert L. Bergmann of Lombard
Services for Robert L. Bergmann, 62, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 350 E. Madison, Lombard, where he will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Jack P. Kane will officiate.
He died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at his home. Interment on Wednesday will be private, in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
Mr. Bergmann was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He was Scoutmaster for Troops 53 and 242, committee chair, commissioner and district chairman, and an advisor for the Order of the Arrow. He held the Vigil, the highest rank in the Order of the Arrow, and had been awarded the Silver Beaver, the highest award from the Council.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Bergmann (nee Anderson); sons, Steve (Merry) Bergmann of Lombard and Gregory (Sue) Bergmann of Wheaton; grandchildren, Alexander and Daniel Bergmann of Lombard, and Jessica and Julia Bergmann of Wheaton; and brother, David (Sheila) Bergman of Lombard.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Boy Scouts of America, Three Fires Council, 415 N. Second St., St. Charles, IL 60174, would be appreciated.

Alice Jean Brummel of Naperville
Prayers for Alice Jean Brummel (nee Kendall), 66, will be said at 1:45 p.m. today, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial willfollow at 2:30 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
Born Jan. 15, 1933, in Troy Grove, Ill., she died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be in Lincoln ParkCemetery, Aurora.
Mrs. Brummel came to Naperville at a young age. She was a homemaker although she worked part-timeat Naperville North High School as a food server.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and the LadiesAuxiliary of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her sons, John (Nickey) Brummel of Naperville and Dennis (Julie) Brummel of Naperville; grandchildren, Lindsey and Samantha Brummel of Naperville; brother, Edward (Mary) Blackburn of Seneca, Ill.; sisters, Roberta (Robert) Carter of Aurora, June Bombard of Aurora and Florence (Kenneth) Briggs of Aurora; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mae (nee Blackburn) Kendall; son, Daniel Brummel; and brother, Arnold Kendall.

Charles S. Bundschuh of South Elgin
Services for Charles S. Bundschuh, 79, formerly of Carpentersville, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. The Rev. David Witte will officiate.
Born Aug. 5, 1919, in Chicago, to Samuel T. and Emma (nee Schweinfurth) Bundschuh, he died Friday, April 23, 1999, at Carrington Care Center, South Elgin.
Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Mr. Bundschuh had been a resident of the area for 42 years and was a member of Abiding Peace Lutheran Church of Elgin. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he had worked at ITW Shakeproof for 16 years. A veteran, he had served in the Army during World War II and was a former member of Carpentersville VFW #5915 and a member of the ElginAmerican Legion.
Survivors include his daughters, Rita (Tom) Arnold of Murray, Ky., and Candy (Terry) Wauchope ofElgin; sons, Richard (Phyllis) Bundschuh of Silver Springs, Fla., Charles (Cheri) Bundschuh of Algonquin and Paul (Allena) Bundschuh of Belvidere; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clara R. Bundschuh (nee Hann), April 24, 1989; son, Randall Lee Bundschuh, in 1948; grandsons, Scott Bundschuh, in 1993, and Caleb Bundschuh, in 1998; two brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Abiding Peace Lutheran Church of Elgin, to the American Cancer Society, or to the American Heart Association.

Loretta Cahill of Wheaton
Services for Loretta Cahill, 66, of Wheaton, formerly of Glen Ellyn for 28 years, will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, from Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, and continue with Mass at noon, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Illinois and West Streets, Wheaton.
Born Feb. 22, 1933, in Chicago, she died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Cahill had been employed as the bookstore manager at Glenbard West High School for 17 years, retiring in 1997.
Surviving are her husband, Francis `Frank' Cahill; children, Sue Johnson of Glendale Heights, Kathy (Paul) Lesnefsky of Lockport, John (Leslie) Cahill of Wheaton, Carol (Jack) Ballish of Hollywood, Fla., and Nancy Cahill (fiance, Bob Kolas), of Ann Arbor, Mich.; grandchildren, Robbie Johnson, Christian, Billy and Elizabeth Cahill, Margaret Lesnefsky and Emma Ballish; sisters, Jessie Pomilia of Melrose Park and Florence Dorsch of Glenview; and brothers, Raymond Michalak of Florida, Walter Michalak of California and Stanley Michalak of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Morgan.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

John O. Dahlberg of Naperville
A memorial service for John O. Dahlberg, 81, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 30, at Community Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St., Naperville. The Rev. Thomas Babler will officiate.
Born Dec. 10, 1917, in Minneapolis, Minn., he died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Tabor Hills Nursing Center, Naperville.
Interment will be private.
Mr. Dahlberg had been a resident of Naperville since 1955. A 1941 graduate of the University of Minnesota, he had played trombone in a number of dance bands to work his way through college.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and taught at the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., for three years. For 36 years he was employed with Illinois Bell Telephone as a district engineer and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Mr. Dalhberg served on the school boards of both Woodridge District #68 and Naperville District #203 for atotal of 15 years.
He had also been a member of Community United Methodist Church in Naperville since 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Dahlberg (nee Schloerb); son, Eric (Robin) Dahlberg of Eagle River, Wis.; daughter, Janice Lynn (Michael) Onderdonk of Jackson, Mo.; grandchildren, Kara, Kristofor and Kyle Dahlberg, Sarah Onderdonkand Andrea Peterson; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Harry R. (Elizabeth) Dahlberg of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Axel and Ida Dahlberg.
Memorials in Mr. Dahlberg's name may be made to the church.

Arthur H. Diedrichsen, 95, of Lombard, formerly a longtime resident of La Grange Park, died Thursday, April 22, 1999. Arrangements were made by Knollcrest Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 932-1500.

Edward F. Dunn of Green Oaks
Services for Edward F. Dunn, 83, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Born March 13, 1916, in Homer Township, Ill., on the family farm, he passed away Friday, April 23, 1999, at Pebblebrook Health Care Center, Lake Bluff. Interment services will be held on Monday in the chapel at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
A former resident of Lockport and Romeoville, Mr. Dunn had lived in Green Oaks since 1983. He was a veteran of the Army, having served in the Asian and European Theaters during World War II, and received the Bronze Star. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Dunn was employed for 42 years by the Unocal Corporation in Lemont. He was also a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lockport.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Dunn; sons, Curtis (Cindy) Dunn of Ambler, Pa., and Robert (Grace) Dunn of Green Oaks; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stacie, Lora, Andrew and Emily; sisters, Margaret Bokoski of Lockport and Grace Dunn of Homer Township; and brothers, Donald (Betty) Dunn of New Lenox, Ill., and Franklin Dunn of Homer Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Dunn; sister, Clara Boyce; and brother, William Dunn.

Orville Erickson of Wildwood
Services for Orville Erickson, 68, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, atStrang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born April 23, 1930, in Clearbrook, Minn., he passed away Thursday, April 22, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, following the services.
Mr. Erickson owned and operated Erickson Hay & Straw from 1958 to 1972.
He later owned and operated the Fred Olson Company, hauling steel, until 1984.
He then leased his services to Independent Operators of Cottage Grove, Wis., until 1998, hauling mostly to the St. Paul, Minn., area. Mr. Erickson was formerly an avid horseshoe player, loved playing golf and loved watching football as a #1 Minnesota Vikings Fan.
Orville is survived by his wife, Charmaine Erickson, to whom he was married Nov. 6, 1976; children, Larry (Penny) Erickson of Zion, Connie (Bob) Neel of Wildwood, Nancy (Chuck) Denman of Bristol, Wis., Steve (Resa) Erickson of Wisconsin and Sandy (Carlos) Ledesma of Sandwich; stepchildren, Michelle (Roger) Dussault of Zion, Patty McLane of Wildwood, Tim McLane of Gurnee and Sean McLane of Lake Villa; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is alsosurvived by his sisters, Arveila Johnson of Vernon Hills, Genevieve Torgerson of Wauconda and Pearl Westrum of Clearbrook; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josie and Oscar Erickson; and brother, Ted Erickson.
Friends may visit from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral chapel.

John J. Gerardi of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for John J. Gerardi, 84, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Aug. 29, 1914, in Chicago, he died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mr. Gerardi was a retired tool and die maker. A resident of Libertyville for eight years, he was a member of St. Joseph Parish.
He was the beloved husband for 61 years of Constance Gerardi (nee Cecala); loving father of Constance J. Gerardi of Naperville and Josephine Gerardi of Libertyville; and proud grandfather of John F. Gerardi of Naperville.
Visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. today, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Betty L. Gibson of Palatine
Services for Betty L. Gibson (nee Blocksom), 69, will be held at 4 p.m. today, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect.
Born Oct. 26, 1929, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Lexington of Schaumburg. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Gibson was a retired bartender.
She was the beloved mother of Danette (Stanley) Howard; cherished grandmother of Adam and Alaina; dear sister of Shirley (Don) Phetteplace and the late Rose; and fond niece of Lois Blocksum. She is also survived by many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
