Lucila F. Suarez of Libertyville for 16 years
Mass for Lucila F. Suarez (nee Feliciano), 90, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Oct. 31, 1908, in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines, he died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mrs. Suarez was a retired school teacher and a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville.
She was the wife of the late Jose, who died in 1990; mother of Jeck Suarez of Libertyille, Leony (Eddie) Fabian, Lely (Joji) Dayao, Precy (Luis) Adriano and Dory Suarez, all of Libertyville; grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of seven.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place, Liberyville.

Mary Ellen Taylor (nee Caldwell), 49, of Grayslake, died Friday, April 23, 1999. Arrangements were made by StrangFuneral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake, (847) 223-8122.

Mark S. Walter of Wauconda
Services for Mark S. Walter, 40, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Federated Church of Wauconda, 200 S. Barrington Rd., Wauconda.
Born Nov. 28, 1958, in Atlanta, Ga., he died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan. Burial will be private.
A 29-year resident of Wauconda, he was a 1976 graduate of Wauconda High School. He received his associate degree in accounting from College of Lake County. He was a member of the church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Verlene and J. William Walter, he is survived by his brothers, John William Jr. (Linda), James Sidney and Matthew Lee (Laurie); grandmother, Osia Mae Stone; nephews, Steven Grant, Christopher John and Lucas Carl; and cousins, Debra Ann Williams Visitation will be from 3 to9 p.m. Friday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday, at the church.

Ethel Mary Weltman, 85, of St. Charles, formerly of West Chicago, died Sunday, April 25, 1999. Arrangements were made by Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, West Chicago, (630) 231-1300.

William `Sandy' Wilson, 87, of Lombard, died Sunday, April 25, 1999. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Anna Wittrock (nee Andersen), 85, of Hanover Park, died Sunday, April 25, 1999. Arrangements were made by Countryside Funeral Home, Bartlett, (630) 289-7575.

Robert G. Arcus Sr. of Geneva
Funeral services for Robert G. Arcus Sr., 84, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Born Oct. 13, 1914, in Chicago, he died Monday, April 26, 1999, at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora. Interment will be private.
Mr. Arcus was former president of Arcus Tickets Company in Chicago.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Janice) Arcus of Wilmette; daughter, Cathy (Rich) Ammlung of Baltimore, Md.; stepdaughter, Marcia (Allen) Draugelis of Hebron; stepson, Michael (Lois) Coate of Milton, N. H.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Shirley L. Armintrout of St. Charles
Services for Shirley L. Armintrout, 68, of St. Charles, formerly of Batavia, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
Born Oct. 23, 1930, in Elgin, to Herman O. and Mary L. (nee Garvin) Johnson, she passed away Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Provena Pine View Care Center, St. Charles. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
Shirley grew up in a restaurant family and eventually owned Shirley's Coffee Cup in downtown Batavia. She then worked for theIllinois Youth Center for Girls in Geneva and finally at the St.
Charles Youth Center for Boys. Shirley taught Sunday school at the Lutheran Church in South Elgin and taught Bible study at Riverrain Point Retirement Apartments inBatavia where she lived for 11 years prior to her moving to Provena Pine View Care Center. She also served two terms as president of Riverrain's Council of Affairs. Shirley was an avid craft maker and spent her last healthy yearsselling handmade afghans, dressed dolls and home decorations at local flea markets. Shirley's most cherished belief was always, `What a difference a day makes, you and God, trusting the Holy Spirit. ' Surviving are her sons, Mike (Connie) Armintrout of Batavia, Steve Armintrout of Batavia and Dave (Linda) Armintrout of Effingham, Ill.; and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly (Jack) Melson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Kathye Lynne (Fred) Sargent of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Armintrout, and brother, Herman LeeRoy Johnson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Raymond E. Berg of Schaumburg
The family of Raymond `Ray' E. Berg, 89, will gather at 11 a.m. Friday, at the chapel of Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, 7800 W. Irving Park Rd. (between Harlem and Cumberland Aves.), Chicago, to remember him.
Born may 8, 1909, in Chicago, he passed away Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Inurnment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Mr. Berg owned and operated a manufacturers' representative business in Chicago for many years prior to his retirement in 1965. Following retirement, he and his wife, Muriel, resided in Williams Bay, Wis. until 1979, when they relocated to Boca Raton, Fla. They returned to the Chicago area in June 1997, and were resident of Schaumburg at the time of his death. Ray enjoyed boating and golf, and he was a member of the Shriners.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Muriel Berg; sons, Ronald (Nancy) Berg of Wonder Lake and Ray (Jewel) Berg of Rolling Meadows; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial gift in Ray's name to your favorite charity.

Martha Bianchi of Oak Brook
A funeral Mass for Martha Bianchi, 87, a resident of Mayslake Village in Oak Brook for nine years, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Mayslake Village, 1801 35th St., Oak Brook.
Born April 27, 1911, in Chicago, she died Tuesday, April 26, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Hillside.
She was the beloved wife of the late Carol Bianchi; loving mother of Marlene (Joseph) Lazzara and Carol (Louis) Addante; dear grandmother of eight; and great-grandmother of six. She was also the fond sister of Frank Vichio and the late Dominic, James, Peter, Louis, Michael and Philomena DeBartolo; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Mayslake Village.

Craig J. Boydston of Evanston
A funeral Mass for Craig J. Boydston, 25, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gilbert Church, Grayslake.
Craig passed away suddenly at his home. Burial services will be private.
Craig liked music, traveling and hiking, and loved his Jeep.
He is survived by his parents, Gene and Robin; sisters, Kimberly (Martin) Mayer and Brenda (Jason Stoneham) Boydston; grandparents, Irving and Ethel Roane; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his friend, Boda.
Family and friends may visit from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.

Barbara J. Brasel of Addison
Local services for Barbara J. Brasel, 48, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Lutheran Church of the Master, 580 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream. She will lie in state one hour prior to the services. There will also be a service held on Saturday, at Cline Funeral Home, 206 Jefferson St., Beardstown, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Born Dec. 29, 1950, in Beardstown, Ill., she died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at the Pavilion of Forest Park. Burial will be in Beardstown Cemetery.
She was the beloved daughter of David (Betty) and the late Charlotte and loving sister of Michael (Kathy), Stevan (Birthe) and Douglas (Catherine). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Brust Funeral Home, 415 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream.

Jeffrey J. Brennan
Services for Jeffrey J. Brennan, 39, a resident of Grant Park, Ill., for eight years, formerly of Park Forest, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Agnes Church, 1515 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights. The Rev. John Siemianowski will officiate.
Born Sept. 8, 1959, in Chicago, he died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.
Mr. Brennan had been employed for 19 years with theChicago Transit Authority.
A veteran, he had served in the Army in the late 1970s. Among his hobbies, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Laura M. Brennan (nee Leiteritz); children, Rebecca and Jeffrey Brennan, both at home; mother and stepfather, Adrienne and Jan Broda of Belvidere; brother, Ken (Mary) Brennan of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at Hirsch Funeral Homes, West End Chapel, Lincoln Highway and Otto Boulevard, Chicago Heights.

Helmer J. Darken of Glen Ellyn
A memorial service for Helmer J. Darken, 79, will be held at 3 p.m. next Saturday, May 8, at Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
Born Jan. 28, 1920, in Copenhagen, Denmark, he died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove.
Mr. Darken, a resident of Glen Ellyn for 45 years, had retired in 1993 after 25 years of employment at CNA Insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (nee Korbus); daughters, Susan (Gerry) Olson of Oak Park and Wendy (Jim) Kemp of Libertyville; grandchildren, Karen (Robert) Doyle, Erik Olson, and Jenny and Gretchen Kemp; brother, Clifford (Jo) Darken; and nephews, Chris, Rudy and Bob.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Danish Home, 5656 N. Newcastle Ave., Chicago, IL 60631, or to Faith Lutheran Church.

Marie Dvorak formerly of Bensenville
Services for Marie Dvorak, 91, most recently of Jerome, Idaho, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York St., Bensenville.
Born April 19, 1908, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, she died Friday, April 23, 1999.
Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Dvorak was a member of the Bensenville Garden Club, and had formerly owned beauty shops in Chicago and St. Charles.
She was the wife of Stanley Dvorak; mother of John (Marjory) Fluegel; stepmother of Sandi (the late Herbert) Hansen; sister of William Schempers of San Diego, Calif. and Josephine (the late Fred) Fenner of Florida; grandmother of Brian and Scott; and aunt of Marguerite of Arizona.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
