Margaret O. Johnson of South Elgin
Prayers for Margaret O. Johnson, 94, formerly of Carpentersville, will be held at 9:45 a.m. today, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Monica Church in Carpentersville. The Rev. L. Thomas Risley will officiate.
Born in Spring Valley, Ill., Oct. 12, 1904, the daughter of Edward and Frances (nee Eich) Acton, she died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at Alderwood Care Center, South Elgin. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Monica Church in Carpentersville.
She is survived by her granddaughters, Margaret `Meg' (Jerry) Marshall of West Dundee, Patricia (Jim) Campbell of Huntley and Katherine (Dennis) Andry of Rolling Meadows; five grandsons, Theodore Payton of West Dundee, Michael (Susan) Payton of Lake in the Hills, Robert (Donna) Payton of Arlington Heights, William (Sheila) Wilk of Rockford and Paul (Janet) Wilk of Aurora; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Edwin Wilk of West Dundee; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore Johnson, in 1966; and daughter, Frances Wilk, in 1987.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:45 a.m. today, at the funeral home.
Please omit flowers; Masses would be appreciated.

Vivian B. Krage (nee Sanders), 74, of Addison, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999. Arrangements were made by Humes Funeral Home, Addison, (630) 628-8808.

Lillian J. Landen (nee Faur), 76, formerly of Villa Park, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999. Arrangements were made bySteuerle Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 832-4161.

Walter M. Lazarski of Mount Prospect
Services for Walter M. Lazarski, 84, will begin with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 W. Park St., Arlington Heights.
Born June 18, 1914, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at The Abington of Glenview. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Lazarski had worked as the chief electrician for the Admiral Corporation of Chicago and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134.
Surviving are his children, Paul Lazarski of Tularosa, N. M., Kathleen Lazarski of Streamwood, Margaret Lazarski of Golden, Colo., Susan (Marty) Koerber of Crystal Lake and James Lazarski of Schaumburg; and grandchildren, Michael and Ann Marie Lazarski, and Heather andAaron Koerber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette H. Lazarski; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 N. Northwest Highway, Suite 220, Park Ridge, IL 60068, or the American Lung Association, would be appreciated.

Kermit Lewis of Hoffman Estates
Memorial services for Kermit Lewis, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at The Benchmark, 1515 N. Barrington Rd., Hoffman Estates.
Born Feb. 19, 1910, in Pittsburg, Kan., he died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be private.
A retired sound engineer, he was a member of IBEW Local 134 in Chicago, and past member of the Royal Order of the Moose Lodge 604 in Des Plaines.
He was the husband of the late Florence (nee Medal), she passed away in November 1997; father of Kathie (Vernon) Gonion of Elk Grove Village and Barbara Ann (Sierra) Lewis; and grandfather of three.
Arrangements were made by Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.

McKinley Lewis Jr. of Elgin since 1962
Funeral services for McKinley Lewis Jr., 79, will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, with the Rev. Paul Rouse officiating.
Born July 28, 1919, in Madisonville, Ky., the son of McKinley and Effie Blackwell Lewis, he died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Asta Care Center, Elgin.
Mr. Lewis was an employee of the Shakeproof division of Illinois Tool Works for 25 years before retiring. He attended Progressive Baptist Church of Elgin and a former member of Martin Luther King Elks Lodge of Elgin. A World War II veteran, Mr. Lewis had served in the Army.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Lewis of Elgin and Jeffrey Lewis of Elgin; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Flowers of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Willis (Bettye) Lewis of Elgin, Clyde Lewis of South Bend, Ind. and Bishop Charles (Julita)Lewis of Hanover Park; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, in 1989; a grandson, Jeffrey Scott Lewis; and a sister, Vivian Williams.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral home.

Kenneth W. Luth of Schaumburg
Visitation for Kenneth W. Luth, 71, will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Funeral services will be private.
Born March 12, 1928, in Chicago, he died Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
Mr. Luth was a retired insurance salesman. He was a member of the International Order of Foresters.
Surviving are his children, Gary, David and Karl (Kelly) Luth and Laura (Joe) Ramello; grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Ramello, David and Stephanie Luth, and Mark and Matthew Luth; and former spouse Mary (Ray) Miller.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert and Robert Luth.
Memorials may be made to the Village of Schaumburg, Department of Health and HumanServices, 521 E. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194.

Mable J. McLean (nee Yaconetti), 75, of Lombard, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Richard T. Michalik of Des Plaines
Services for Richard T. Michalik, 67, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines.
Born Dec. 30, 1931, he died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, in Des Plaines. Interment will be private.
Mr. Michalik had been a resident of Des Plaines since 1972 and was formerly of Chicago. He had worked for Western Electric as an electrical engineer.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor C. Michalik (nee Jaessen); daughters, Cynthia (Roger) Horning and Debra Borden; stepsons, Edwin (Varinia) Holtz and Mark Holtz; grandchildren, Clayton, Courtney, Brett, Matthew and Daniel; and brother, William Michalik.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Shirley E. Norak of Arlington Heights
Services for Shirley E. Norak, 79, formerly of Mount Prospect for 31 years, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Chicago, she died Monday, May 10, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
A homemaker, she was a member of Hannah's Circle at St. Peter's and St. Peter's Seniors.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Richard, they celebrated their anniversary on May 5, 1999; daughters, Jean (Fred) Riley and Jane (John) Popp; grandchildren, Fred (Kimberly) and Christine Riley, and Janelle and Jason Popp; great-grandchild, Maranda Riley.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights or The Lutheran Home.

Grace Peccatiello of Medinah
Services for Grace Peccatiello (nee Grillo), 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Walter Church.
Born Nov. 20, 1920, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Glen Oaks Hospital. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Daniel; mother of Kenneth (Susan) and Jeffrey; and grandmother of Robert and Catherine.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Martin Funeral Home, Ltd., 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle.

Celia Rasmussen of Arlington Heights
Services for Celia Rasmussen (nee Pionkowski), 93, formerly of Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights.
Born Oct. 14, 1905, in Antigo, Wis., she died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, Chicago.
A 16-year resident of Arlington Heights, she had been employed by the Victor Adding Machine Company.
She was the wife of 51 years of the late James J. Rasmussen; mother of Rose (Roy) Johanson and the late James (Joan) Rasmussen; grandmother of Pamela, Cathy, Gregg, Christine and Robert; and great-grandmother of Lee and Kimberly.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday, at the Lutheran Home.

Eleanor S. Sansone of Niles
A funeral Mass for Eleanor S. Sansone (nee Buttitto), 80, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Juliana Church, 7400 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago.
Born April 25, 1919, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, in Evanston.
Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery.
A 36-year Niles resident, Mrs. Sansone had been employed as a manager at a bakery.
She was the wife of the late Anthony J.; mother of Peter (Mary), Dennis (Bonnie) and Anthony (Michele); sister of Vince DiCosola, Ben (late Martha) Buttitto, Lucille (late Leonard) Martucci, Roy (Carmella) Buttitto, and the late Frank (late Mildred) DiCosola, Joe (late Rita) DiCosola and John Buttitto; and grandmother of Anthony, Ken, Matthew, Michele, Dominick, Danielle and Sam.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
