Ella C. Meyer of Palatine since 1930
Services for Ella C. Meyer, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine, IL 60067.
Born May 29, 1912, in Lake Zurich, she died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Claremont Health Care Center. Burial will be in Randhill Park, Palatine.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly J. Lueschen and granddaughter, Terry L. Lueschen of Palatine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin A. Meyer; her parents, Henry and Anna; and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.

Richard T. Michalik of Des Plaines
Services for Richard T. Michalik, 67, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines.
Born Dec. 30, 1931, he died Wednesday, May12, 1999, in Des Plaines. Interment will be private.
Mr. Michalik had been a resident of Des Plaines since 1972 andwas formerly of Chicago. He had worked for Western Electric as an electrical engineer.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor C. Michalik (nee Jaessen); daughters, Cynthia (Roger) Horning and Debra Borden; stepsons, Edwin (Varinia) Holtz and Mark Holtz; grandchildren, Clayton, Courtney, Brett, Matthew and Daniel; and brother, William Michalik.

Patricia Miller of Streamwood
Mass of resurrection for Patricia `Patti' Miller (nee Maier), 68, will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Holy Family Parish, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died peacefully after a battle with cancer.
She was the loving wife of Harold; mother of seven children, Teresa (Michael) Spevacek, Christopher (Elizabeth Bandera), Mary, Mark, Elizabeth, Matthew and Timothy (Jessica Ruiz); gran-mama of Gregory, Bethany, Reina and Andrew; and dear sister of Bunny (Jerome) McCafferty, Joseph (Colleen Coyle) Maeir, Susan (Robert) Schemmel and the late Frank (Ginny Harte) Maier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Merrie Maier of Oak Park and Glen Ellyn.
Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Marygrove College, Detroit, Mich. and earned her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business. She had worked for Camners Business Information for the past 18 years.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg.

George L. Perucco of Elgin
A memorial Mass for George L. Perucco, 72, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. next Saturday, May 22, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Fr. Richard Russo will officiate.
Born June 20, 1926, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to Angelo and Virginia Perucco, he died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at his home, in the company of his loving family.
Mr. Perucco had graduated cum laude from Walton School of Commerce in 1951 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Prior to his affiliation with Home Federal, he was employed as staff executive in the accounting division of the United States Savings and Loan League in Chicago, and was controller for Empire Federal Savings and Loan Association in Milwaukee, Wis., and National Cash Register. He joined Home Federal Savings of Elgin in 1961 and in May 1962 was named president. As the longest-serving president in the savings and loan's history, he was fundamental in its astounding growth from an organization with assets of $23 million to a $370 million publicly traded company. During his 37-year tenure he was instrumental in the expansion of the Elgin-based mutual thrift to a branch network which, at its peak, included 10 offices and was the largest savings and loan in northern Illinois. He retired as president in December 1998, but continued working with the organization in a consulting capacity.
George added much to the development of Elgin and the surrounding communities. He was past president of the Central Elgin Corporation; past president and vice president of the Fox Valley Mental Health Center; past secretary and chairman of the Provena St. Joseph Hospital Advisory Board; past president and member ofthe Illinois Savings and Loan League; past chairman of the Elgin Economic Development Commission; past president and member of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce; past member of the YWCA Advisory Committee; past co-chairman of the Capital Campaign for the YWCA; past member of the YMCA Sustaining Membership Committee; past president, honorary chairman, division chairman and campaign chairman of the United Way of Elgin; past chairman of the City of Elgin Capital Budget Committee; past president of the Jayne Shover Easter Seal Society of Elgin, the Easter Seal Association of Northern Kane County, and the Easter Seal Society of Illinois; past president of the Elgin Exchange Club; and past president of the Fox Valley Savings & Loan Council. He was honored as the Easter Seal Man of the Year in 1975, the United Way Citizen of the Year in 1981 and the United Way Volunteer of the Year in 1982, and received the Cosmopolitan Distinguished Service Award in 1986 and the Willis A. Judith `Judy' Rittgarn of Naperville
Funeral services for Judith `Judy' Rittgarn (nee Bakken), 55, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove.
Interment will be in Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
Although Judy fought a courageous battle against multiple sclerosis for 35 years, her familyand friends will remember that she faced every day with a smile.
She was the beloved wife of Fred Rittgarn; loving daughter of Leonard and Irene Bakken of Kingman, Ariz.; cherished mother of Jeffery L. (Karen L. ), Cynthia E., Sandra L. and Susan E. (Allen); devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Kyle, Lee and Drew; dear sister of Ronald Lee (Joan) Bakken; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Edith M. Taunk of Des Plaines for 74 years
Services for Edith M. Taunk (nee Gilmore), 84, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born July 4, 1914, in Durand, Wis., she died Friday, May 14, 1999. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A homemaker, Mrs. Taunk was a former Brownie troop leader at West School in Des Plaines and a former member of the East Maine Homemakers.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; daughter, Karen I. (Thomas) Meier; brother, Pat (Dorothy) Gilmore; and grandchildren, Kimberly S. (Michael) Schultze and Scott T. (Nicola) Meier.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of services today, at the funeral home.

Bohdan Tymciurak of Naperville since 1967
Memorial services for Bohdan Tymciurak, 77, will be held at7 p.m. Sunday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Additional services will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m., at St. Andrew Ukranian Orthodox Church, 300 E. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale.
Born April 22, 1922, in Stanyslaviv, Ukraine, he died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Edward Hospital, Naperville. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
Mr. Tymciurak survived polio, which he contracted at age six, and went on to recieve his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Graz in Austria. He immigrated to the United States in 1949 and married his wife, Tamara, on Aug. 4, 1951. Mr. Tymciurak worked for Ford Motor Company in Chicago during the Korean War, developing jet engines.
An analytical engineer, Mr. Tymciurak worked for many companies over the years, the last being Clark Equipment in Aurora and Barnes and Reinecke Company in Elmhurst, designing cranes and other heavy industrial equipment. He retired in 1987. Mr. Tymciurak was a founding member of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church and sang in the choir.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Dr. Tamara Tymciurak of Naperville; son, Yarko (Olya) Tymciurak of Naperville; granddaughter, Veeka Tymciurak of Naperville; sister, Daria Nahirniak of Milwaukee; and niece, Dr. Laryssa Kaufman of Lansing, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Tymciurak.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Eleanore M. Ukleja formerly of Wheeling
A funeral Mass for Eleanore M. Ukleja (nee Bugner), 76, of Fort Atkinson, Wis., will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 181 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling.
Born Feb. 8, 1923, in Evanston, she died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Fort Atkinson Health and Rehabilitation Center. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. Ukleja had worked for 15 years at Illinois Bell Telephone and later was a cook and waitress at the European Spot Restaurant for 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church and was also very active in Amvets Auxiliary Post #66 in Wheeling for 30 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Ukleja; dear sister of Nicholas Bugner of Pell Lake, Wis., Fr. Joseph Bugner of New Guinea, Vincent (Mary) Bugner of Kenosha, Wis., Cyril Bugner of Zion, Henry (Barb) Bugner of Prairie View, Mary Sykes of Fort Atkinson, Theresa (Joe) Raupp of Whitewater, Wis., Agnes Splitt of Wadsworth, Clara (Ted) Raupp of Wauconda, Margaret (Jim) Vorisek of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Barbara (Jerry) Convery of Elizabeth, Colo., and the late John Jr. and Lawrence Bugner; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church.

Richard J. `Dick' Wallace of Gurnee
Funeral services for Richard J. `Dick' Wallace, 64, will beheld at 11 a.m. Monday, at Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, with the Rev. Gehl Devore officiating.
Born Feb. 14, 1935, in Waukegan, he died suddenly Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Waukegan. Burial will follow the services in Oakdale Cemetery, Zion.
Mr. Wallace had lived in the Waukegan area his entire life. He retired in 1997 from Meyer Material Ready Mix after 41 years of service. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Teamsters Local #301 and an avid sportsman.
He enjoyed riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sarah (nee Murrie); three sons, Paul Bell of Wadsworth, Wis., Peter (Diana) Bell of Waukegan and Perry (Barbara) Bell of Bristol, Wis.; two daughters, Tammy (Stephen) Paulson of Green Oaks, Ill. and Paula (Raymond) Stumpf ofTrevor, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. An uncle and aunt, James and Pearl Johnson of Gurnee, also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Catherine (nee Johnson) Wallace.

Beryl Anderson formerly of Geneva
Funeral services for Beryl Anderson, 84, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Geneva Lutheran Church.
Born Aug. 2, 1914, to John and Bess (nee Stewart) Ball, she passed away Friday, May 14, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Lake Geneva, Wis. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora.
Beryl had been a member of Geneva Lutheran Church for 60 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Sherry (Richard) Gray of Lake Geneva; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, at Yurs-Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St., Geneva.

Maurine Olyve Bacon formerly of Barrington
Services for Maurine Olyve Bacon (nee Burnside), 83, of Brentwood North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Riverwoods, will be private.
Born May 16, 1915, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., she passed away Thursday, May 13, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Mrs. Bacon graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in romance languages. Her diverse background included a position as manager at the Red Oaks Gift Shop in Long Grove in the late 1970s, as well as a position as volunteer at the Chicago Maternity Center. She was a former member of the Biltmore Country Club and also a life member of the San Diego Zoo. She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, decorating, family trips to a dude ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and trips to Hawaii.
Survivors include her son, Gary Bacon of Fairfax Station, Va.; grandchildren, Alison Lindsay of La Mesa, Calif. and Sarah Thigpen of San Francisco, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Barrett and Molly Lindsay of La Mesa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Patterson Bacon, whom she married in 1935, in St. Petersburg, Fla.; son, James Patterson Bacon Jr.; and brother, Harvey Edgar Wayne Burnside.
