Ignacio Antonio Flores of Itasca
Services for Ignacio Antonio Flores, 68, will be held at 8 p.m. today, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, (Symonds Funeral Homes directing), 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.), Roselle.
Born Oct. 30, 1930, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he passed away Monday, May 24, 1999, after a long illness. Interment will be in Puerto Rico.
A resident of Itasca for the past five years, he formerly lived in Chicago. He was a retired social insurance claims examiner with the Chicago Regional Social Security Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (nee Haley); sons, Anthony and Thomas Flores of Itasca; daughters, Evelyn (Daniel) Murphy of Itasca, Zulma (Peter) Himplemann of Medinah and Ana (Gerald) Geschrey of Itasca; stepdaughters, Elba (Juan) Ramirez of Mount Prospect and Carmen (late Angel Munoz) Ramirez of Puerto Rico; sister, Crucita Loiz of Puerto Rico; and ex-wife, Anna Marcano-Flores of Itasca.
He was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Warren Fromm of Palatine
Services for Warren Fromm, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born June 14, 1921, in Chicago, he died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
He was the husband of Dorothy Fromm (nee Ahlers); father of Corinne (Tim) Thron, W. David Fromm, Steven (Carol) Fromm and Janine Fromm; grandfather of Aimee and Adam Thron, and Heidi and Paul Fromm; and brother of Bernhard (Mary Ann) Fromm and the late Marcella (the late Walter) Matthey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Jorge Montes Garcia of Elgin
Funeral Mass for Jorge Montes Garcia, 25, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Michael Morrissey officiating.
Born March 21, 1974, in Mexico City, Mexico, the son of Jorge Montes and Guadalupe Garcia, he died Monday, May 24, 1999, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
Burial will take place Monday in Pantion Municipal Cemetery, Zinaparo, Michoacan, Mexico.
Mr. Garcia had been employed as a laborer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents of Mexico City;one brother, Oswaldo J. Montes; and two sisters, Xochil Montes and Angeles Montes, all of Mexico.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin.

Sally W. Gilmore formerly of Des Plaines
Services for Sally W. Gilmore (nee Wichman), 55, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Des Plaines, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. Memorial services were previously held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Denver.
Born July 4, 1943, in Chicago, she died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. Interment will be in St. Peter's Church of Christ Cemetery, Skokie.
Mrs. Gilmore had been a resident of Colorado for 30 years and had worked as a dental hygienist.
She was the beloved wife of William Gilmore of Denver, whom she married in 1966; loving mother of Erika Gilmore of Denver; beloved daughter of Elsie and the late John Wichman of Des Plaines; dear sister of Nancy (Thomas) Trowbridge of New York; and fond aunt of two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to donor's favorite charity would be appreciated.

James H. Glod of Glen Ellyn
Services for James H. Glod, 62, will begin with prayers at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m., at St. James theApostle Church, Park Boulevard and 22nd Street, Glen Ellyn.
Born Oct. 15, 1936, in Chicago, he died suddenly Monday, May 24, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Interment will be held privately.
A resident of Glen Ellyn for 32 years, Mr. Glod had worked for more than 40 years in the printing industry. In retirement he enjoyed working with his sons in Tour Edge Golf Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Retta Glod; sons, David (Maria) Glod of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Daniel (Carie) Glod of West Chicago and Gordon (Kate) Glod of Geneva; grandchildren, Jeremy, Benjamin, Tessa, Janelle, Ashton, Dryden and Julianne Glod, and Eamonn and Maureen Talkington; mother, Genevieve Glod of Oak Brook; and sister, Patricia (James) Roman of Rochester, N. Y.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Clarence J. Gretz of Mount Prospect
Services for Clarence J. Gretz, 93, formerly of Cornell, Wis. and South Bend, Ind., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect.
Born Nov. 27, 1905, in Chicago, he died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Irving Park Cemetery.
Mr. Gretz had been employed as an accountant, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #294 A. F. & A. M. in South Bend, plural member of the Masonic Lodge #321 A. F. & A. M. in Cornell, member of the IndianaMasonic Award of Gold Club, the York Rite, 32nd degree lifetime member of the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, and Mizpah Shrine A. A. O. N. M. S. of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was the husband of the late Pearl and the late Gertrude; father of James of Jacksonville, Fla., Fred of El Cajon, Calif. and the late Kenneth (Karen) Gretz of Mount Prospect; grandfather of Patricia Hooghkirk, Kenn, Greg and Gary Gretz, Susan Oxford and Lisa Cunningham; and great-grandfather of seven.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Friday, at the funeral home.

Dean C. Hampe of Glen Ellyn
Visitation for Dean C. Hampe, 55, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, atLeonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.
He died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at home, after a two-year battle with kidney cancer.
Mr. Hampe graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1962 and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Elmhurst College and an MBA from DePaul University. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and the Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in business administration.
A resident of Glen Ellyn for 38 years, Mr. Hampe was employed for the past 10 years as a recreation supervisor for the Glen Ellyn Park District. Prior to that he worked as a bank officer at First National Bank of Chicago for 22 years.
Dean is best remembered for his love of children and was influential in the success of the park district's mini-sports program for pre-schoolers. For years he was a very special `Santa' for Glen Ellyn children and he volunteered countless hours coaching his daughters' soccer, basketball and volleyball teams. He was also an avid golfer and volleyball player.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon `Bunny' Hampe; daughters, Tricia and Robin; mother, Dolores of Wheaton; brothers, Mark Hampe of Texas and Grant Hampe of Colorado; and sister, Beth (David) Rogers of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hampe.

Royce William Hill of Palatine for 34 years
Prayers for Royce William Hill, 67, will be held at9:45 a.m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. A 10:30 a.m. Mass will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness.
Born Feb. 7, 1932, in Ardmore, Okla., he died Tuesday, May 25, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
Survivors include his wife, Jane M. Hill (nee Mateja) of Palatine; son, Roger (Rosemarie) Hill of Hutsonville and Duane (Donna) Hill of Island Lake and daughters, Pamela (Thayer) Davis of Palatine and Janet Hill of Palatine. He was the grandfather of Andrea and Katie Davis and Krystle and Blake Hill; brother of Dolores Robinson of Ardmore, Okla. and Jack Hill of San Fernando, Calif.; uncle of Debbie and Michael Robinson, Jackie Jr. and C. C. Hill; son-in-law of Angeline Mateja; and brother-in-law of Ronald (Susan) Mateja.
Mr. Hill was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Our father leaves his family and friends with many fond memories. A respected local businessman, he was the owner of Hillits Interiors, which operated in Palatine for 25 years on the premise of old fashioned family service. He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church prior to the onset of his illness.
His firm foundation in our Lord Jesus Christ will be carried on by his family.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Kathryn `Kay' Hitzemann of Elgin Graveside services for Kathryn `Kay' Hitzemann, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, at Washington Cemetery, McQueen Station, Ill. The Rev. Thomas O'Connor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Elgin will officiate.
Born Dec. 14, 1922, in Omaha, Ill., to Homer D. and Lola Mae (nee Wilson) Whipple, she died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Alderwood Care Center in South Elgin.
Mrs. Hitzemann attended Omaha High School and graduated from Ridgeway High School in Omaha, Ill. She had worked at the Elgin Watch Factory. Kay was a member of the National Republican Party, the Washington Cemetery Association in McQueen Station, and the Tucker Automobile Club Association where her brother was a member and employee of the company. Nellie `held court' every day at the Candy Cane Restaurant in Elgin, serving as the `watch dog' of the neighborhood. She had had several letters to the editor published in the Courier News, was a great radio talk show fan, and was very interested in national and local politics. She often `fought' the Elgin `City Hall' with her views. Married to Richard Hitzemann in 1952, she purchased a new Lincoln Premiere for him in 1960, a car he had dreamed of owning since his foxhole days during WorldWar II. Kay still owned the Lincoln at the time of her death.
Surviving are her brother, Wilmer W. `Bill' (Sue) Whipple of Kent, Wash.; and nieces, Kristine (Alex) Yokley of Denver, Colo., and Janice Whipple of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 1986; and sister, Maida Brown, in 1972.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:15 a.m. today, at Wait Ross Allanson Elgin Funeral Chapel, 51 Center St., Elgin.
Contributions to the Washington Cemetery Association in Kay's memory would be appreciated by her family.

Donald Hoffmann of Arlington Heights
Services for Donald Hoffmann, 62, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton, Arlington Heights.
Born Dec. 2, 1936, in Oak Park, he died Monday, May 24, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens West, Elmhurst.
A 26-year resident of Arlington Heights, Mr. Hoffman was a retired sales engineer with AFCO Manufacturing in Des Plaines and a self-employed real estate broker.
He was a member of Austin Lodge 850 A. F. & A. M.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Margaret (nee Fierro); children, William (Kimberly) Hoffmann and Susan (Stuart) Hoffman-Rosenbloom; brother, Thomas (late Julia) Hoffmann; sisters, Bonita (Lawrence) Clemans and Sandra (Dimitrios) Dimacopoulos; granddaughter, Ashley Victoria; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with services at 7:30 p.m. held by the Austin Lodge, at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Thursday, at the church.
