Wanda Ward of Wheaton
Services for Wanda Ward, 70, will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, at WilliamsKampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton.
She died Monday, May 24, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be private.
A resident of Wheaton for 14 years, Mrs. Ward had been employed at the Target store in Wheaton and attended Evangel Assembly of God Church in Hanover Park.
Surviving are her children, Steven, Susan (Ron) Hirsch, Robert and Joseph (Lorraine) Ward; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Wendell (Barbara) Todd; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Ward.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Caroline H. Spindler Wiggins
Services for Caroline H. Spindler Wiggins, 88, of Wauwatosa Wis., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at SpengelBoulanger Funeral Home, 1501 Ninth St., Highland, Ill. A memorial Mass will be held at noon Tuesday, June 1, at San Camillo Chapel in Wauwatosa.
Born Sept. 24, 1910, in Wisconsin, she died Monday, May 24, 1999. Interment will be in Highland City Cemetery.
Raised in Wisconsin, Mrs. Spindler Wiggins graduated from high school and attended telegraphers school. She first worked in Indiana and then later for Western Union in Wisconsin and Illinois.
After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Highland where she worked for Western Union and then for Scott Air Force Base. She moved to Green Bay, Wis., in 1962, after her first husband's death, and later to Wauwatosa after her second husband's death.
Caroline enjoyed painting in both oil and watercolor, enjoyed playing bridge, was an avid golfer and, having lived in Green Bay, was a devoted Packers fan.
She was past president of the Highland Women's Club, belonged to a sewing circle, and was a strong Band Booster member when her children were in band.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy A. Goodfellow of Geneva; son, John J. `Jack' (Kathleen) Spindler Sr. of Greendale, Wis.; grandchildren, John J. (Shea) Spindler Jr. of Eagan, Minn., Beth Spindler of Eau Claire, Wis., Curtis Spindler of New York, N. Y., Stephanie Goodfellow of St. Charles and Malcolm Goodfellow of Poplar Grove; stepsons, Robert M. Wiggins of Aberdeen, Wash., and James Wiggins of Jamestown, Tenn.; and several stepgrandchildren and greatstepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis M. Spindler, whom she married Sept. 17, 1936, and who preceded her May 14, 1956; her second husband, Robert B. Wiggins, whom she married Sept. 10, 1964, and who preceded her May 27, 1997; parents, Bernard and Gerada (nee Von Wolenburg) Schippers; brothers, Richard and Theodore `Ted' Schippers; sisters, Matilda Janssen, Virginia Van Lanen and Veronica Van Deren; and stepson, William Wiggins.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Friday, at the funeralhome.

Anna L. Schapanski of Venice, Fla.
A memorial service for Anna L. Schapanski, 68, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Venice.
Born May 20, 1931, in Zamoschev, Belarus (formerly White Russia), she died Tuesday, May 25, 1999.
A Venice resident for the past five years, Mrs. Schapanski formerly lived in Chicago. She attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church and was a member of Plantation Golf and Country Club. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Elmhurst College.
Survivors include her husband, Roland C. Schapanski of Venice; daughters, Nancy Schapanski-Traver of North Potomac, Md. and Peg Ostrander of Germantown, Md.; and four granddaughters.

Elsie E. Awe of Hampshire
Services for Elsie E. Awe, 85, formerly of Chicago, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire, with the Rev. Gordon Smith officiating.
Born with her twin sister, `Dorie, ' on Dec. 23, 1913, in Chicago, to Louis and Ida (nee Purmann) Awe, she died Monday, May 24, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Eden Memorial Park, Schiller Park.
Elsie was a longtime resident of Chicago and had been employed for many years by Westfield-Sommers Foods of Chicago. She had retired in 1976 and moved to Hampshire where she was a member of Zion Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include her sisters, Edna Maushak and Elizabeth `Dorie' Awe, both of Hampshire; nephews, Wayne (Sandi) Siegmann of Hampshire andRodney (Janet) Lee of Bloomingdale; greatnephews, Mike Siegmann and Brian Lee; great-nieces, Lisa Siegmann and Kristy Lee; and great-great-nephew, Aaron Siegmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Lucille Lee and Bertha `Bertie' Awe.

John H. Banbury of Elgin
Services for John H. Banbury, 75, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. today, O'Connor & Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elgin. The Rev. Michael Morrissey will officiate.
Born Oct. 16, 1923, to Benjamin and Agnes (nee Cram) Banbury, he died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Banbury was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A graduate of Marmion military Academy inAurora, he had worked as a meat department manager for A & P in Arlington Heights, retiring after 30 years of service. An
Army veteran of World War II, he had served in Italy with the 34th Infantry Division and received two Battle Stars and the Combat Infantry Badge. For many years he had been a very dedicated manager of American Legion Post 57 of Elgin where he was also a Gold Card Member and a past president. He was also a member of VFW Post 1307, the Moose, the Elks, the Owls and the Riverside Club, and past president of the United Civics Club, all of Elgin.
Surviving are his son, Jack (Sheri) Banbury of Elgin; daughters, Bonnie J. (Jack) Sterk, Susan J. (Brian) Jones and LoriJ. (Dave) Ledford, all of Elgin; grandsons, Kenneth P. Helen M. Bashe of Wheaton
Memorial services for Helen M. Bashe, 80, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Wesley and West Streets, Wheaton.
She died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Bashe had lived in Wheaton and been a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton for 46 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late A. Lawrence Bashe; loving mother of Lawrence (Ruth) Bashe, Susan (the late Ronald) Howell, Nancy (Steven) Breidenich, and the late James Bashe; dear grandmother of Laura, Tony, Sarah, Andrew, Katie, Susan and David; great-grandmother of Fred; and fond sister of Raymond, Carroll, and the late Ruth, June, Jeanne and Robert.

Born Oct. 13, 1928, in Chicago, the son of Edward and Eleanor Beilfuss, he passed away Monday, May 24, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates.

Mr. Beilfuss was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Barrington.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Beilfuss of Elgin; three children, Sandi (Jim) Frets, Lori (Jim) Russell and Barbara Koester; two stepchildren, Cyndi (John) Alexander and Lynda (Robert) Anderson; and eight grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Amy, Vicky, Justin, Nicole, Daniel and Gregorey.

She was the beloved husband of Edwin Ciciora; loving mother of Lester (Maureen) and Russell Ciciora; dear grandmother of Philip and Steven; sister of Lorraine (the late Michael) Roma, Walter (Clara) Mrozinski, Genevieve (the late Michael) Romancik, Edna (Walter) Strezlecki, EdwardMrozinski and the late Frances (Bruno) Lesniewski; and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Francis William Coleman of Elgin

Born April 8, 1912, in Wayne, to Charles F. and LaVilla (nee McCord) Coleman, he passed away Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne.
A resident of Elgin for 53 years, Mr. Coleman had worked at Sun Chemical for his entire career, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Little Home Church by the Wayside in Wayne.
Surviving are his children, Sarah Jo (Joe) Jeffress of Elgin, Marcia Lee (Steve) Kingsbury of Minnesota and William (Melissa) Coleman of Minnesota; grandchildren, Christopher (Laura) and Stephen (Michelle) Jeffress, Jennifer (Christian) Collins, and Alicia and Nathan Coleman; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Zane; and sister, Virginia Wheeler of St. Louis, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marcia Coleman (nee Mink), in 1984; and sisters, Leila and Merry.
