Genevieve E. Wahler of Gages Lake
Funeral services for Genevieve E. Wahler (nee Schalk), 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born Sept. 27, 1912, in LaPorte, Ind., she passed away Friday, May 28, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, following the services.
Formerly of Chicago, Mrs. Wahler had made her home in Gages Lake for the past 50 years and was a member of the Warren Township Seniors Club.
She leaves her son, Wilbert `Wil' (Marlene) Wahler of Gages Lake; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Mabel Hugel of Greenfield, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Wahler Sr., in January 1978; and brothers, Willard and Ray.
Friends of the family may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be given to the Condell Medical Center ICU Unit, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048.

Margaret A. Warner formerly of Carpentersville and Chicago
Services for Margaret A. Warner (nee Reiser), 77, a resident of Richmond, Ill., for the past 20 years, formerly of Carpentersville and Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, Ltd., 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake (in the Chapel on the Lake).
Born March 12, 1922, in Chicago, to John and Lillian (nee Kuby) Reiser, she died Tuesday, May 25, 1999, ather home.
Interment will be in Cedarvale Cemetery, Solon Mills, Ill., following the services.
Surviving are her husband, Earl Warner, to whom she was united in marriage on April 10, 1948, in Chicago; sons, Michael (Dawn) Warner ofTrevor, Wis., and Charles (Karen) Warner of Sandwich; daughters, Sharon Warner of Roselle, Linda (Scott) McEwen ofCarpentersville and Sandra Warner of Harvard; four grandsons; five granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia O'Reilly of Richmond, Ill., and also by a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Lillian Jones, Grace Davis and Florence Skrine; brothers, Edward and John Reiser; and her parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, Inc., 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.

Earl Weaver Jr. of St. Charles
Services for Earl Weaver Jr., 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Congregational United Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd., St. Charles. Rev. Dr. John Rodgers will preside over the service.
Born Feb. 14, 1928, in Circleville, Ohio, the son of Earl and Sadie Butler Weaver, he died Friday, May 28, 1999, at home.
Burial will be private.
Earl was a member of the Congregational Church of St. Charles, the St. Charles V. F. W. and the Batavia Moose.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by General Mills in West Chicago for 27 years. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Helen; sons, Brian (Connie) Weaver of Stoutsville, Ohio and Scott (Cindy) Weaver of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter, Melinda of St. Charles; grandchildren, Ben, Alex and Jason Weaver; brother, Howard (Helen) Weaver of Circleville; and sisters, Mariam Heinke of Barton, Fla., Lillian Roth of Johnstown, Ohio and Ardie Crawford of Circleville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Butler; and sisters, Mary Bell Speakman and Lucille.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.

Anna K. Wielgosz of Batavia
A funeral Mass for Anna K. Wielgosz, 89, formerly of Chicago, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, where she will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. The Rev. Stephen St. Jules will officiate.
Born Sept. 27, 1909, in Chicago, to Basil and Anna (nee Niemec) Boreczky, she passed away Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Ill.
Anna devoted her life to her beloved family and to her faith. She was aformer member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Summit, Ill., for more than 35 years, where she was active in the church's seniors group. She was currently a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia.
She will be remembered for her loving smile and gentle face.
She is survived by her daughters, Edana (Richard) Jelinek of Hampshire and Lucille Wielgosz of Batavia; granddaughter, Anne-Marie Jelinek of Gurnee; nieces, Joan Pustelnik of Chicago, Doris (Martin) Kelly of New Lenox, Mary Anne (Keith) Marchi of Alsip and Cynthia Wielgosz of Hickory Hills; and nephews, Blase Wielgosz of Michigan and Henry (Patricia) Wielgosz of Melbourne, Fla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Wielgosz, whom she married March 26, 1945, in Oakland, Calif.; and her sister, Mary Pustelnik.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. BataviaAve., Batavia, where a liturgical wake service will be held at 5 p.m.

Karen E. Baird formerly of Des Plaines
Services for Karen E. Baird (nee Schacht), 50, of Lindenhurst, will be held at noon Wednesday, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines.
Born Nov. 15, 1948, in Chicago, she died Thursday, May 27, 1999, in Highland Park.
Interment will be private.
Employed at AbbottLabs, she was the wife of Russell Baird; mother of Anne Marie Baird and Gretchen E. Baird; sister of Richard (Nancy) Schacht, William (Linda) Schacht and Diane Schacht; and daughter of Bernell and Marie Schacht.
Visitation will befrom 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday, at the funeral home.

John C. Barclay of Round Lake Beach
Graveside services for John C. Barclay, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Born Sept. 7, 1912, in Scotland, Mr. Barclay passed away Wednesday, May 27, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Mr. Barclay made his home in Round Lake Beach for the past 47 years, formerly living in Cicero. He retired in 1978 from Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Des Plaines. He was aformer member of the Scottish Lodge of Chicago.
He leaves his loving wife, Irene (nee Kopija); daughters, Patricia and Jean; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death byhis parents, John and Annie Barclay; brother, Joe; and sister, Mae.
Arrangements were made by Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake.

Donald Milton Berger formerly of Naperville
Funeral services for Donald Milton Berger, 75, of Somonauk, Ill., will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Turner Funeral Home on Route 34 in Somonauk.
Born Feb. 6, 1924, in Naperville, to D. Moody and Marian (nee Rickert) Berger, he passed away Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Sunrise Health Care Center in Yorkville. Committal services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, in Naperville Cemetery, 705S. Washington St., Naperville.
Mr. Berger had attended Granger School and later graduated from Naperville High School with the Class of 1942.
He farmed southwest of Naperville on 83rd Street for many years, and for the past 27 years had been farming in the Somonauk and Hinckley area. His love for farming, as well as his skill in the occupation, was seen in his longtime participation in the Wheatland and Big Rock plowing matches, and he was a also a member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau.
He will be missed by his wife Ruth Berger (nee Osterland), whom he married Feb. 14, 1946, in Naperville; aunt, Beatrice (Berger) Mende of Aurora; brothers-in-law, Frank (Gertrude) Osterland of Naperville and Robert (Stevie) Osterland of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister-in-law, Geri (Allen) Osterland of LaGrange; four nieces; one nephew; seven great-nieces and -nephews; and his many friends in the farming community.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Allen Berger, in 1964; and daughter, Carolyn Jean Berger, in 1977.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Rev. Mark G. Bergman formerly of Des Plaines
Services for Rev. Mark G. Bergman, 72, of Vernon Hills, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 675 W. Algonquin Rd., Des Plaines. He will lie in statefrom 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
Born Sept. 5, 1926, in Rapid River, Mich., he died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Condell Medical Center. Burial will be held Saturday, in Rapid River Cemetery, Rapid River, Mich.
Rev. Bergman was a retired lutheran minister for 31 years at Trinity Lutheran Church in Des Plaines. He was presently serving as interim pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in Lake Zurich and also visitation pastor at Shepherd of the Hills Church in McHenry. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Doris M. (nee Johnson); children, David (Pam), Martha (David) Passarelli, Cheryl (Keith) Steffens and Karen `Kay' (Andy) Wycoff; brother, Vincent A. (Gladys); sister, Regina (Robert) Johnson; and grandchildren, Adam, Chelsey, Michael and Lisa, Renee and Joey, Eric and Brendan, and Kayla and Drew.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Esther Monson and Mae Friedlund.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect.

Marcos Camacho of Elgin

Born Feb. 11, 1969, in Mexico, to Virgilio and Magalena (nee Reyes) Camacho, he died Friday, May 28, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be private.
Surviving are his wife, Fernanda Camacho; daughters, Magdalena and Jennifer; five sisters; four brothers; his parents; and his grandparents.

Mike Cluchey of South Elgin
Services for Mike Cluchey, 54, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.

Born Jan. 13, 1945, in Elgin, the son of Ladore and Anna Kendrick Cluchey, he died Friday, May 28, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Burial will be private.
He had been a resident of South Elgin since 1982 and was employed by St. Charles Manufacturing for more than 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Ansel Cluchey; daughters, Lisa (Mario) Calderon of Carpentersville and Michelle (Victor) Nunes of South Elgin; grandchildren, Mercedes, Ricco and Nikko; mother, Anna Cluchey of Elgin; and brothers, Joseph Cluchey and George (Lynn) Cluchey, both of Elgin.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Patrick Cluchey.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
