Bonnie Brahe Schaefer of Libertyville
Services for Bonnie Brahe Schaefer, 50, will be held at 7 p. m. Thursday, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 29700 N. St. Mary's Road, Libertyville. The Rev. Dr. Robert A. Davis will officiate.
Born Jan. 7, 1948, in Oshkosh, Wis., she passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at Lake Forest Hospital.
A resident of Libertyville for the past 38 years, Mrs. Schaefer was a 1966 graduate of Libertyville High School and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville. She was a former employee of Abbott Laboratories and was actively involved in many community services, including Libertyville Little League, Parent Cats at thehigh school, Libertyville Main Street and the Butterfield Family Association.
Surviving are her children, Joy Schaefer, 18, and Matthew Schaefer, 16, both of Libertyville; mother, Betty Brahe of Libertyville; brothers and sisters, Bruce (Carolyn) Brahe of Arlington, Va., Brian (Karin) Brahe of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Barry Brahe of Libertyville, Barbara (Dennis) Dovel of Libertyville, Beverly Brock of Mundelein, Douglas (Cathy) Brock of Overland Park, Kan., and Susie (Douglas) Montgomery of Libertyville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Brahe; grandmothers, Ella Beck and Mary Brahe; and A. J. and Betty Brock.
Friends of the family may call from 2 to 8 p. m. Wednesday, at BurnettDane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for an education fund being established for her children.

Edith Elizabeth `Mutzie' Schein
Memorial services for Edith Elizabeth `Mutzie' Schein (nee Fischmann), 91, of Wildwood, Mo., will be held in the Chicago area at a later date.
Born in Milwaukee, Wis., Jan. 17, 1907, she died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in St. Louis, Mo., just two weeks short of her 92nd birthday.
She was the devoted mother ofBetsy (Norman) Goldman of Wildwood, Mo., Dr. Egon (Ann) Schein of Libertyville, Susan DiManno of Chicago and David (Carolyn) Schein of Mount Prospect; loving grandmother of Adam and Amy Goldman, Beth and Juli Schein and Emily and Andrew Schein; and proud great-grandmother of Kyra Goldman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Max Arthur Schein; brother, Benedict Fischmann; and infant grandson, Michael Schein.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Grace Schmidt of Fox Lake
Services for Grace Schmidt (nee Farrell), 66, formerly of the Wauconda and Lake Zurich area, will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday, at Fox Lake Baptist Church, 27430 W. Nippersink Road, Ingleside. Family and friends should meet at the church.
Born Jan. 18, 1932, in Chicago, to John and Caroline (nee Harmes) Farrell, she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside, following the services.
Mrs. Schmidt was a homemaker and a member of Fox Lake Baptist Church in Ingleside.
Survivors include herhusband, Gordon Schmidt; sons, John Schmidt of Fox Lake, Sgt. Joseph (Kelly) Schmidt of Dakar, Africa, and Kenneth (Michelle) Schmidt of Fox Lake; daughters, Beth (John) Gundlach of Lake Zurich, Charlotte Joyner of Goosecreek, S. C., Amy (Vince) Serio of Cary and Doris (Scott) Kennebeck of Johnsburg, Ill.; brother, Bud (Dorothy) Farrell of Chicago; sisters, Muriel Vaughn, Betty Burke, Lillian Allen, Doris Divine and Helen Lopez, all of the Chicagoland area; and many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Art and Willard Farrell.
Friends are invited to call from 3 to 7:30 p. m. Wednesday, at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home (the Chapel on the Lake), 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake and from 10:30 a. m. until the time of services Thursday, at the church.

Kathryn V. Sebastian (nee Sikokis), 81, of Lombard, died Friday, Jan. 1. Arrangements were made by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 627-1400.

Anthony S. Tangorra of Lake Bluff
A funeral Mass for Anthony S. Tangorra, 80, will be held at 10 a. m. today, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born March 24, 1918, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Retired from Deerpath School in Lake Forest, he was a member of Mundelein American Legion and served in the Army during World War II.
He was the husband of 53 years of Angela; father of Michael (Debbie) Tangorra of Libertyville; brother of Nick (Lucy) Tangorra of Mundelein; and grandfather of Mike, Philip and Launa.

Ruth Elizabeth Wagner of Elgin
Services for Ruth Elizabeth Wagner, 80, will be held at 11:30 a. m. today, at Epworth United Methodist Church, Elgin. The Rev. Dr. Thomas Potenza will officiate.
Born Sept. 12, 1918, inElgin, to Charles and Norma Blish, she died peacefully, Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at the home of her son, Charles, after a short battle with cancer. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemtery.
Mrs. Wagner was a lifelong resident of Elgin and a charter member of the St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. She was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church of Elgin and enjoyed baking, sewing, crafts and ceramics.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri (Richard) Baumann of White Bear Lake, Minn.; son, Charles (Peggy) Wagner of Rochelle; and grandchildren, Debbie (Vince) O'Brien, Dede (Jim) Ponto and Wendy (Erik) Gilbert, all of Rochelle, and Beth (Scott) Kromer, Matt Baumann, and an expected greatgrandchild, all of White Bear Lake, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Wellington Wagner; and daughter, Donna, in infancy.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a. m. until the time of services today, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Epworth United Methodist Church or to the Ogle County Hospice Association.

Born May 1, 1922, in Chicago, he died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Bronswood Cemetery.
Employed as a tool and die maker, he was the husband of the late Anne Weglarz (nee Koster); father of Eileen (Edward) Rosenwinkel of Minnesota, Steven (Susan) Weglarz of Lombard, Cindy Bellek of Lindenhurst and Kathy (James) Blasius of Carol Stream; grandfather of William and Richard Rosenwinkel, Jeff, Laura and Karyn Weglarz and Timothy, Jennifer and Christopher Blasius; and brother of nine brothers and three sisters.

Mary J. Wiszowaty of Arlington Heights
Prayers for Mary J. Wiszowaty (nee Rekosiewicz), will be said at 8:45 a. m. Wednesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 9:30 a. m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights.
Born in Chicago, she died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Burial will be in Maryhill Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Anthony G.; children, Antoinette (Lawrence) Kunkel of Prospect Heights, Terry (Don) Gimbel of Elmhurst, Rosemary (Bob) Florczak of Arlington Heights and Anthony (Bonnie) Wiszowaty of Schaumburg; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean (Louis) Ostendorp of Berwyn.

Jennifer L. Antonino formerly of Naperville
Memorial services for Jennifer L. Antonino, 44, most recently of Minonk, Ill., will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, at First Baptist Church, Minonk. The Rev. Harry Sanders will officiate.
Born Oct. 6, 1954, in Pontiac, Ill., to Emerson and Lois (nee Finnell) Janssen, she passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. Cremation rites were accorded.
Ms. Antonino was a graduate of Minonk Dana Rutland High School, attended the University of Iowa for two years, and graduated form Lakeland College in Mattoon with a degree in dental hygiene. She worked as a dental hygienist in the Chicago area for more than 10 years, and most recently was employed by Meyer-Jochums in Minonk as a receptionist. She married Frank Antonino on June 25, 1983, in Wheaton.
Jennifer became a Christian in early childhood and was always active in the Lord's work in her youth and until the time of her death. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Minonk. A lover of music, she also played several instruments and loved to sing. She will be missed greatly by her family and large circle of friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Vanessa, Olivia and Mallory, all at home; parents of Minonk; brothers, Judson and Joel Janssen, both of Bloomington; niece, Karinda Kanarski Webb of Hanover Park; and nephew, KevinKanarski of Downers Grove.
She was preceded in death by twin sons, Domonic Andrew and Emerson Thomas; sister, Jacqueline Kanarski; brother-in-law, Robert Kanarski; and twin brothers, James and Jeremy.
Arrangements were made by Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church or to the Jennifer L. Antonino Memorial Fund at Alpha Community Bank in Minonk.

Nola Poole Arends formerly of West Chicago
Funeral services for Nola Poole Arends, most recently of Batavia, will be held at 1 p. m., at Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. The Rev. Todd Grand Yonkman will officiate.
Born Dec. 28, 1917, in Ethica, Mich., she passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, at Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora.
Private burial will be in Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago.
Mrs. Arends had resided in West Chicago for most of her life before moving to Batavia two years ago. She worked in the office of Arends Plumbing Company, which was owned by her husband, and was a member of St. Michael's United Church of Christ of West Chicago.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth (Tom) Overton; 14 nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Arends, in April of 1995; her parents, James and Alma Poole; and a brother, James.
Visitation will be from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
