Rosalie Smith of Batavia
Visitation for Rosalie Smith, 58, of Batavia, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia. Funeral services will be private.
Born Sept. 28, 1940, in Aurora, to Harry and Mary Henley, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery.
Rosalie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age. Her family has comfort in knowing that she is resting peacefully in God's care. Rosalie devoted her life to her beloved family and will be dearly missed. She worked for Caterpillar in Aurora for more than 25 years and held the position of third shift operations supervisor.
Surviving are her father, Harry Henley of Mississippi; husband, John L. Smith Sr., whom she married in Aurora in 1960; daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Roger) Crawford of Evanston and Mary Beth (Larry) Bailey of Jacksonville, N. C. ; sons, John L. Smith Jr. of Naperville and Josh Smith of Batavia; sister, Margaret Saunders of Aurora; brother, Harry Henley Jr. of Denver, Colo. ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Henley; brother, Francis Johnson; and sisters, Eva Neal, Josephine Ford and Lou Ann Hogue.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11 E. Wilson St., Batavia, IL 60510.

Paula M. Sorgatz of Winfield
Services for Paula M. Sorgatz, 43, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, 1420 S. Gables, Wheaton.
Born Feb. 4, 1956, in Chicago, she died Thursday, June3, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Interment will be private, in Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
Formerly of Naperville, Mrs. Sorgatz had been a resident of Winfield for 11 years. She was a graduate of North Central College in Naperville and had received her master's degree from National Lewis University. For 20 years she had beena teacher at O'Neill Middle School in Downers Grove.
She was the beloved wife of Glen A. Sorgatz; loving mother of Peter and Andrew; devoted daughter of Lawrence and Marie Dobberstein; dear sister of Scott, Donald (Jennifer), her twin, Pamela, Peter (Theresa), Margaret (John) Westlove and Mary Gargaro; daughter-in-law of Gisela and the late Gustav Sorgatz; sister-in-law of Diane (Allan) Oeste, Anita (Alan) Merrill and Darlene (Chuck) Threewitt; and aunt ofmany nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Matthew's Church would be appreciated.

Olive Althea Vanderbruggen of St. Charles
A graveside committal service for Olive Althea Vanderbruggen, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Whitney Cemetery, Wasco. Rev. Derin Fowler will officiate.
Born Oct. 30, 1921, in Chicago, the daughter of Howard and Rose Vanderbruggen, she died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.
Miss Vandenbruggen pursued a career in the nursing profession for 37 years.
She attended Garfield Park Community Hospital School of Nursing and received her diploma in 1950. She attended DePaul University in Chicago and received her BSN in 1961 and her masters degree in science in 1971. She retired in 1987. She wa proud to be a nurse and found great satisfaction in her years of service to her chosen profession.
Survivors include her brother, Robert (Celeste) Vanderbruggen of Fredricktown, Mo.; nieces, Dawn and Gina Vanderbruggen of Streamwood; stepmother, Fern Vandenbruggen of Arlington Heights; and her friend and companion, Jane Brazonis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles.

Jay Charles Wheeler, 57, of Clarendon Hills, died Thursday, June 3, 1999. Arrangements were made by Knollcrest Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 932-1500.

Raymond P. Woss of Elgin
Services for Raymond P. Woss, 82, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. The Rev. Christine A. Stiger will officiate.
Born July 30, 1916, in Chicago, to Francis and Mary (nee Kuzricka) Woss, he died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Woss had been a resident of Elgin for 13 years and was formerly a longtime resident of Arlington Heights. He had been employed for 19 years with School District 57 in Mount Prospect and had worked at both Lincoln Park and Lions Park Schools in custodial services.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Marion L. Woss (nee Mueller), whom he married April 17, 1948; daughters, Gloria (Arnie) Thelen of Elgin, Trudy (Tom) Bock of San Diego, Calif., and Mary (Dave) Derda of Mount Prospect; son, Raymond P. `Butch' (Linda) Woss Jr. of Rolling Meadows; `adoptive son' Roger (Carol) Mueller of Rolling Meadows; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Florence Pedersen, Mildred Rollander and Alice Geffe; and brother, Frank Woss.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

James T. Annoreno
Prayers for James T. Annoreno will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, continuing with chapel services at 10 a.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle.
Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Annoreno was a veteran and had served during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of Victoria Annoreno (nee Hon); devoted father of Robert(Elizabeth), John (Frances) and Jerry (Denise) Annoreno and Celeste (Bob) Bemis; dear brother of Connie Tovalachi, Rosa Pompilio, Josie (Peter) Sorci, Joseph (Elizabeth) Annoreno and Salvatore (Adeline) Annoreno; fond grandfatherof John, Jim, Chris and Brian Annoreno, Joelle Pohl, Bobbie Ann Serpe, Veronica Armitage, Dinah Nitecki, and Jennifer Tutaj; and great-grandfather of 13.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Norman `Dink' Badgerow of Elgin
Services for Norman `Dink' Badgerow, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Madison Funeral Home 305 Park St., Elgin.
Born Jan. 6, 1924, in Bevier, Mo., the son of Carl andHelen Nesbit Badgerow, he passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Sherman Hospital. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia; sons, David (Marion) Badgerow of Tennessee and Gary (Judy) Badgerowof Elgin; granddaughters, Holly and Heidi, both of Elgin; grandson, Paul of Tennessee; sister, Mariam Annis of Elgin; stepdaughter, Vicki Pelock of Elgin; stepsons, Norman Pelock and Jeffrey Pelock, both of Elgin; and six stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elgin Fire Department Paramedics.

Kathryn A. Barreca formerly of Wilmette
Funeral services for Kathryn A. Barreca, 59, most recently of Fontana, Wis., will be held at noon Tuesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born Oct. 28, 1939, in Valparaiso, Ind., she passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Glenbrook Hospital. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, following the services.
Mrs. Barreca had lived in Fontana since May 1998 and previously had resided in Wilmette for 30 years as well as Brookfield, Wis.
She leaves her children, Ann (Chris) Norman of Grayslake, Frank (Elaine) Barreca of Long Grove, Iowa, David (Mary) Barreca of Grayslake and John (Julie) Barreca of Grayslake; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her mother, Marian Wolfe of Janesville, Wis. ; sisters and brothers, Mary Lynn (Wes) Huhges of Janesville, Sally (Robert) Zentz of Jefferson, Wis., Joseph (Linda) Wolfe of Brookfield, Thomas (Gail) Wolfe of Janesville, and Steven(Sherry) Wolfe of Janesville; and many nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Barreca, on Nov. 14, 1996; and father, John Wolfe.
Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Kellogg Cancer Center, c/o Evanston Hospital, 2650 Ridge Ave., Evanston, IL 60201.

Madeline `Madge' Bieniarz of Libertyville
A funeral Mass for Madeline `Madge' Bieniarz (nee Friello), 60, formerly of Northbrook, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Jan. 13, 1939, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
A 31-year Libertyville resident, Mrs. Bieniarz had been an office manager and was a member of St. Joseph Parish.
She was the wife of Richard D. ; mother of Richard of Vernon Hills, Victoria Bieniarz of Libertyville and the late Anthony `Tony'; sister of Allen (Marian) Friello of Antioch, Carissa (Frank) Bruno of Vernon Hills and the late Pauline (Edward) Stephans; grandmother of Sarah (Angel) Rosado, Jennifer and Heather; and great-grandmother of Angel Luis Rosado.
Arrangements were made by McMurrough Chapel, Libertyville.

Larry Bowman of Crystal Lake
A funeral Mass for Larry Bowman, 61, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crystal Lake.
Born June 22, 1937, in State Center, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Elizabeth (nee Meyers) Bowman, he died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara (nee Baunach), whom he married on Oct. 1, 1960, in Michigan City, Mich.; children, Chris (Anne) Bowman of Las Vegas, Nev., Greg (Sally) Bowman of Austin, Texas, Mary Bowman of Algonquin and Jeff Bowman of Austin; grandchildren, Grant and Devin Bowman; brother, Everett (Thelma) Bowman of Lawrence, Kan. ; and sisters, Colene (Ken) Armbrecht of State Center and Joyce (Max) Buck of Marshalltown, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
Memorials in his name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Parish Center, Hospice of Northeastern Illinois or Masses, wouldbe appreciated.

Peter J. Camino of Mundelein
A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter J. Camino, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary of Vernon Church.
Born Feb. 23, 1928, in Chicago, he died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Lake Forest Hospital Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A resident of Mundelein for 18 years, he was a 27-year employee of Bankers Life and Casualty. He enjoyed music and sang with the Paulist Choir at St. Mary's in Chicago and later with Choral Dynamics of Mundelein. He was an avid golfer, had a passion for cooking, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his dear friend, Vernice Lindskog of Mundelein; children, Kathleen (William) O'Brien of Glenview and Kevin Camino of Des Plaines; brother, Paul (Connie) Chiumino of Michigan; niece, Ann Chiumino, also of Michigan; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelly.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, are appreciated.
