Richard D. Cox Sr. of Des Plaines
Services for Richard D. Cox Sr., 63, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.
Born Aug. 1, 1935, in Aurora, he died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village. Interment will be private.
Mr. Cox had been employed as a truck driver for Elmhurst Dodge.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary Lou J. Cox (nee Owens), whom he married Sept. 29, 1956; sons, Richard (Karen) Cox Jr. of Antioch and Samuel Cox of Des Plaines; grandson, Dylan Cox; and brothers, Albert Cox of Largo, Fla., Samuel Cox of Corvallis, Ore., and Floyd (Janice) Cox of Mesa, Ariz.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the WellnessCenter of Northwest Community Healthcare, 800 W. Central, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, or to the American Diabetes.Association.

William C. Dannehy Jr. formerly of Crystal Lake
Funeral services for William C. Dannehy Jr., 72, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., CrystalLake. The Rev. Arn Schaper will officiate.
Born May 6, 1927, in Chicago, to William C. and Edna (nee Scherdin) Dannehy Sr., he passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Alden Terrace Nursing Home, McHenry.
Burial will be private, in Concordia Cemetery, Forest Park.
A veteran, Mr. Dannehy had served in the Navy Seabees during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Marian (Peterson) Dannehy, whom he married Oct. 19, 1974, in Woodstock; mother, Edna Dannehy of Crystal Lake; children, Jim (Joyce) Dannehy of San Antonio, Texas, Cheri (Ron) Doetch of Poplar Grove, Teri (Larry) Cass of Gurnee, Jon Dannehy of Arcadia, Wis., and Jeri (John) Wright of Midland, Mich. ; stepchildren, Douglas Peterson of Montague, Mich., Dale (Sheryl) Peterson of Montague, Linda Heron of Chicago and Janice (Michael) LeGood of McHenry; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Ralph Dannehy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Crystal Lake Park District Little League Association.

Louise A. Dean of Elgin
A funeral Mass for Louise A. Dean, 93, formerly of Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Algonquin. Rev. Michael J. Tierney will officiate.
Born April 1, 1909, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Mary (nee Sikora) Sienkowski, she died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Asta Care Center in Elgin. Burial will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Hilberg of Algonquin; grandchildren, Steven (Mari) Hilberg, Mark (Kate) Hilberg and Christopher (Patricia) Hilberg, Debbie Aniballi, Peggy (Gordon) Brocker, Lisa (Jorge) Sigler and Eileen (Darren) Parochelli; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius Dean; sisters, Sophie Kieca, Emily Pradzinski and Estelle Cepa; and brother, Theodore Sienkowski.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Tuesday, at the church.

Helen Demeter of Wonder Lake
A funeral Mass for Helen Demeter, 85, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake.
The Rev. D. Tranel will officiate.
Born Jan. 1, 1914, in Hungary, shedied Friday, June 4, 1999, at Elmhurst Extended Care Center. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, WonderLake.
Raised and educated in Hungary, Helen immigrated to the United States and resided in Michigan, East Chicago, Ind., and Chicago, before moving to Wonder Lake where she lived for 43 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, gardening and yard work. She was also a longtime member of Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake.
Surviving are her stepdaughter, Mary (Robert) Kruvalis of Berkeley, Ill. ; stepgrandsons, Michael (Sue) Kruvalis of Westchester and Joel Kruvalis of Elk Grove Village; and great-stepgrandson, Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, John Demeter, on Sept. 23, 1991; and one sister.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Justen's Wonder Lake Funeral Home, 7611 W. Hancock Drive, Wonder Lake.

Maureen Doran of Schaumburg
Prayers for Maureen Doran (nee Doherty), 51, will be said at 9:30 a.m. today, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon Parkway, Hoffman Estates.
Born Oct. 2, 1947, she died Friday, June 4, 1999, in Chicago. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
She was the beloved mother of John and Jennifer; loving daughter of Rita and the late John Doherty; cherished sister of Kathleen Doherty, James (Lynn) Doherty, Bridget (James)Platania and the late John Doherty; devoted aunt of Brett Betchey, Susan Licata, Brianna and Jimmy Platania, Katlin and Ann Doherty, and Caitlin and Ryanne Doherty; and cherished friend to all she touched.

Joseph G. Fiorito of Carpentersville
Funeral services for Joseph G. Fiorito, 65, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Monica Church in Carpentersville. The Rev. Fabio Garzon will officiate.
Born March 10, 1934, to Giuseppe and Helen (nee Boza) Fiorito, he died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Mr. Fiorito had been a resident of the Carpentersville area for 39 years and was aformer 28-year employee of Pepper Construction Company. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church of Carpentersville, a member of the Holy Name Society, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Schryer Council #6248. A veteran, he had served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of VFW #2298 of Dundee.
Surviving are his wife of41 years, Carol J. Fiorito (nee Pike), whom he married Dec. 10, 1958; sons, Rodger (Mary) Fiorito of Waverly, Ill., Scott (Andrea) Fiorito of Crystal Lake, Mark (Georgia) Fiorito of Plato Center and Brian (Chris) Fiorito of Woodstock; and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Josephine Fiorito of Chicago and Helen Babcock of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Irene Sessa; and brother, Eugene Fiorito.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Barrington.

Dorothy Graebner of Des Plaines
Services for Dorothy Graebner (nee Zilisch), 90, a resident of Des Plaines since 1950, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born April 4, 1909, in Wausau, Wis., she died Friday, June 4, 1999, in Park Ridge.
Interment will be in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis.
Mrs. Graebner was a 1932 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison. A homemaker, she had also been a substitute teacher in Mississippi in the 1930s.
She was a member of the local chapter of PEO and theDelta Gamma sorority, a volunteer at the Des Plaines library, a former Girl Scout leader in Chicago, and an avid reader.
She was the beloved wife of the late Elmer R. Graebner; loving mother of William (Dianne Bannette) Graebner of Buffalo, N. Y., and Annelise (Martin) Anderson of Portola Valley, Calif. ; cherished grandmother of Bennett and Riley Graebner; dear sister of Norma Runge of Minnesota; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will befrom 1 p.m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 260 N. Northwest Highway, Park Ridge.

John J. Henning of Hoffman Estates
Services for John J. Henning, 82, will begin at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at the Church of the Holy Spirit.
Born Oct. 25, 1916, in Chicago, he died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at home. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
He was the beloved husband of Agnes Henning (nee Mischke); loving father of Patricia (John) Masbaum of Cary, John Henning Jr. of Hoffman Estates, Robert (Betty) Henning of Prospect Heights, Edward J. (Linda) Henning of Algonquin, Mary (Terry) Boland of Hoffman Estates, Anna (Lee) Flanagan of Palatine and Theresa Henning of Algonquin; cherished grandfather of 25; and proud great-grandfather of 14. He was also the dear brother of Eleanor Mars, Gertrude Sterbenz and the late Margaret.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Ethel M. Henryson of Elgin
Funeral services for Ethel M. Henryson, 83, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elgin. The Rev. Roger Pollock will officiate.
Born Sept. 25, 1915, in Cary, to Wilhelm and Augusta (nee Ehlert) Storm, she died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery East, East Dundee.
Mrs. Henryson had been a resident of Elgin since 1945 and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Elgin. She had been employed as a seamstress by Brody Coat Company and later by B & G's Dress Factory, prior to her retirement, and was a member of the International Garment Workers Union.
Surviving are her husband, Clinton Henryson, whom she married Dec. 11, 1941; daughters, Carole (David) Holtz of Elgin and Sandra (Thomas) Ward of McHenry; son, Thomas (Linda) Henryson of Elgin; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her twin sister, Esther Holtz of Sleepy Hollow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Clinton `Corky' Henryson Jr. ; sisters, Mildred Koss, Bernice Hahn and Dorothy Mesick; and brothers, Harold, Wilburn, Edward, Roy and Elmer Storm.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the church.
Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Harry A. Hoyle, 83, of Woodridge, formerly of Naperville, died Sunday, June 6, 1999. Arrangements were made by Toon Funeral Home, Westmont, (630) 968-2262.

Paul Dean Combs II formerly of Palatine
Funeral services for Paul Dean Combs II, 27, of Florida, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. today, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Theresa Church, 467 N. Benton St., Palatine.
Born June 25, 1971, in Chicago, he died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in Florida. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mr. Combs was a cellular system technician for Nextel in their Southeast Florida Region. He was a graduate of St. Theresa's, Fremd High School and the University of Missouri - Rolla.
He was the cherished son of Jim and Christine (nee McAteer) Combs; loving fiance of Milagros Ubaldo; dear brother of Megan (Mark) Combs-Polzin; and beloved grandsonof Goldie Combs. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States, Canada and Ireland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Dean Combs, and Michael and Christine McAteer; and uncle, Desmond McAteer.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL 60067, would be appreciated.
