Carl W. Berg of Mundelein
Funeral services for Carl W. Berg, 77, will be held at 11 a. m. Friday, at Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 175), Mundelein.
Born March 24, 1921, in Marinette, Wis., he died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at home. Interment will follow the funeral services in Ridgewood Cemetery.
Mr. Berg had been a resident of Mundelein for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona (nee Rakittke); daughters, Joyce (John) Aparo of Antioch, Lee Ann Kurczewski of Boulder, Colo., Susan Kwasnica of Mundelein and Carol (James) Sloan of Grayslake; brothers, Earl Berg of Salem, Wis. and Raymond Berg of Wimauma, Fla.; sister, Irene (Gilbert) Bergner of Mundelein; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Berg.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Emma Nadelhoffer Brooks of Naperville
Services for Emma Nadelhoffer Brooks, 85, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1550 Modaff Rd., Naperville. Rev. Terry McReynolds will officiate.
Born Sept. 23, 1913, in Aurora, she died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in Cumberland, Wis. Interment will be in River Hills Cemetery, Batavia.
A member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Naperville Moose Auxiliary, she had been a resident of Ogden Manor for the past 13 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynne (Warren) Hergenhahn of Naperville and Sharlene Roper of Batavia; son, Charles Nadelhoffer of Cumberland; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Mabel Jones of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustav and Martha Dittman; husbands, Gus Nadelhoffer and Alvie L. Brooks; three sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

Elsie L. Consoer formerly of Arlington Heights
Services for Elsie L. Consoer (nee Klope), 94, most recently of Englewood, Colo., will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Feb. 7, 1904, in Chicago, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Englewood Meridan Nursing Home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Consoer had retired after 20 years of service from the Illinois Bell Telephone Company.
Survivors include her daughter, Deidre (Larry) Moore of Morris, Ill.; son, Quentin (Rose) Consoer of Colorado; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until the time of services at 11 a. m. Saturday, at the funeral home.

Margaret DeFalco of Arlington Heights
Services for Margaret DeFalco (nee Tarsitano), 81, a resident of Green Castle of Arlington Heights, will begin with prayers at 8:45 a. m. Saturday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, and continue with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a. m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Arlington Heights.
Born April 28, 1917, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at Governor's Park in Barrington. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
A homemaker, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph DeFalco; and dear sister of Joseph Tarsitano, Dora Casciaro, and the late Henry Tarsitano, Alfred Tarsitano, Clara Trombino, Florence Liberatore, Viola Ruo and Rose Tarsitano.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Friday, at thefuneral home.

Florence L. Demith of the Grayslake area
A Mass of the Resurrection for Florence L. Demith, 72, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Saturday, at St. Gilbert's Church in Grayslake.
She passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, following Mass.
Mrs. Demith was a resident of the Grayslake area for 46 years. She was a member of St. Gilbert's Church and also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Precious Blood Auxiliary, the Round Lake American Legion Post 1170 Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and the Wildwood Women's Club.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Demith; children, Dennis (Sandy) Demith, Janet (Richard) Bell, Linnet (James) Miller and Mark (Kathy) Demith; grandchildren, Michelle, Colleen, Heather, Eric, Aaron, Ryan, Angie, Jason, Amanda, Janet and Karen; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may visit from 6 to 9 p. m. Friday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.

Denise J. DuBois of Gurnee
Memorial services for Denise J. DuBois (nee Finnigan), 38, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, at Westchester Community Church, 1840 Westchester Blvd., Westchester.
Born Feb. 12, 1960, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. DuBois grew up in Westchester.
She had been a resident of Gurnee for the past nine years and was employed by Lego Inc.
She was the beloved wife of Michael DuBois; devoted mother of Nicole and Zachary; loving daughter of Marie Montgomery; loving daughter-in-law of Raymond and Corrine (nee Venziano) DuBois; dear sister of Michael and Laura (nee Mixan) Finnigan; dear sister-in-law of John and Michelle (nee DuBois) Priscal, Steve and Diane (nee Shea) DuBois; fond aunt of Marc, Michael and Jake Priscal, Andy, Bryan and Samantha Finnigan, and Matt, Tommy and Jason DuBois.

John J. Dubravsky of Mundelein
Services for John J. Dubravsky, 79, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a. m. Friday, at BurnettDane Funeral Home, 120 W.
Park (Route 176), Libertyville, and continue with a funeral Mass at 10 a. m., at St. Joseph Church, Libertyville.
Born March 23, 1919, in Yonkers, N. Y., he passed awayTuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cranburg, N. J.
Mr. Dubravsky was raised in Yonkers and in 1955 moved to Old Bridge, N. J., where he was a member of the Old Bridge Lions Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church in South River, N. J. He was a supervisor for the General Cable Corporation in North Brunswick, N. J., until his retirement in 1987, and for the past several years had lived with his daughters in Texas and Illinois. He was also a veteran of the Army, having served in the European Theater during World War II.
Surviving are his daughters, Andrea (Jeffrey) Stahl of Mundelein and Diana (Philip) Grossweiler of The Woodlands, Texas; grandchildren, Philip (Liza) Grossweiler, David (Lisa) Grossweiler, Lisa (David) Costello and Shannon Stahl; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Davis of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anna Dubravsky; wife, Catherine, on Feb. 27, 1973; and grandson, Shawn Andrew Stahl.
Friends of the family may call from 7 to 8:30 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Charles C. Ferraro of Naperville
Services for Charles C. Ferraro, 87, will be held at 10 a. m. Friday, at St. John the Baptist Church.
Born Nov. 3, 1911, he died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at Tabor Hills Nursing Home. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mr. Ferraro was a salesman in the food industry.
He was the husband of the late Helen (nee Michal); father of Kenneth (Marie) Ferraro; brother-in-law of Peter Michael; and grandfather of Michael and Thomas.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton.

Arlie M. Gallegar of Schaumburg
Funeral services for Arlie M. Gallegar of Friendship Village, Schaumburg, will be held at 7 p. m. Friday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
Born Oct. 12, 1914, in Howard City, Mich., she died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at Friendship Village. Interment will be held in Stanton, Mich., on Monday, Jan. 11.
Ms. Gallegar was a retired secretary for Evangelical Alliance Mission in Carol Stream with 30 years of service.
She was the daughter of the late Edith and Fred Gallegar; sister of Leone Nielsen and Lauralea Gallegar; and dear friend of Betty J. Kerce.
Visitation will be from 5 p. m. until the time of services at 7 p. m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Gruber of Elgin
Services for Elizabeth Gruber, 83, will be held at 11:30 a. m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
The Rev. Roger Pollock will officiate.
Born April 19, 1915, in Elgin, to Charles and Elizabeth (nee Orban) Koteles, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.
Mrs. Gruber had been a resident of Elgin and South Elgin most of her life. She was employed by McGraw Edison for 27 1/2 years, and then by Elgin Medical Corporation before retiring. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Madison, Wis.
Survivors include her sister, Julia Dziewior of Lacombe, La., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Gruber; brothers, Paul and Charles Koteles Jr.; sister, Helen Sinko; and two nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a. m. until the timeof services at 11:30 a. m. today, at the funeral home.
