Susan E. Murphy of Naperville
Services for Susan E. Murphy, 43, formerly of Palos Heights, will beginwith prayers at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Road, Naperville.
Born Nov. 8, 1955, in Evergreen Park, she died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at the University of Chicago Hospitals, Chicago. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
Susan was a longtime, dedicated employee of General Electric, Service Division.
Surviving are her son, Michael McAllister of Oswego; brothers, Philip (Laura) Murphy of Lindenhurst, Michael (Debbie) Murphy of Dallas, Texas, and David (Vicki) Murphy of Northbrook; sisters, Jeannie (James) Murphy-Mittal of Naperville, Eileen Murphy of Crestwood, Sharon (Tim) Richardson of Libertyville and Mary (Kent) Castle of Racine, Wis. ; stepbrother, Doug Marshall of Elk Grove, Calif. ; nieces and nephews, Philip IV, Megan, Katie and Casey Murphy, Matt, Brett and Ben Mittal, Brian, Skaj, Corey, Nicole and Nellie Richardson, and Kyle Andrew, Brent and Ryan Castle; and father, Philip (Paula) Murphy of Surprise, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Murphy (nee Cain).
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Inga J. Nelson of Batavia
Private memorial services for Inga J. Nelson, 22, will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church in Batavia.
Born Dec. 24, 1976, in St. Charles, she passed away Sunday, June 6, 1999, at home.
Inga was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. She worked at the Thompson Rehabilitation Center in Aurora, and wasa special education student throughout her lifetime.
Survivors include her mother, Merrida Nelson and sister, Tyra Nelson, both of Batavia; grandmother, Merrida Carlson of Maple Park; grandparents, Wayne and Gladys Nelson of Colorado; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Nelson; grandfather, Verner Carlson; and aunt, Delrose Varra.

Erna E. Petty
Services for Erna E. Petty, 94, of Sandwich, Ill., formerly of Chicago, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect.
Born Aug. 18, 1904, in Chicago, she died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Dogwood Health Care Center in Sandwich. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst.
Prior to her retirement, Erna was an office clerk for Hartford Insurance Company.
She was the wife of the late Lucius E. Petty, he died on May 26, 1989; mother of Kenyon (Barbara) Petty of Fernandina Beach, Fla. and Bettelou (Elwood) Kallas of Fernandina Beach; grandmother of Kirk, Kim, Lori, Susan, Lisa and Kendall; and great-grandmother of 11.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Dogwood Health Care Center, 902 E. Arnold St., Sandwich, IL 60548.

Chester Richard Rapacki of Hanover Park
Prayers for Chester Richard Rapacki, 73, will be said at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ansgar Church.
Born April 3, 1926, in Chicago, he died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
A resident of Hanover Park for 20 years, he was a member of the VFW in Bartlett.
He was the husband for 48 years of Genevieve Rapacki (nee Kornecki); father of Richard (Sandra) of LaGrange, Donald (Linda) of Orland Park and Diane (Mark) Chomko of Colorado; grandfather of Lauren, Brian, Mark, Jordan, Lindsay, Jared, Kristin and Megan; and brother of Eugene (Irene) Rapacki and the late Virginia (Joe) Wrzepski.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Susan M. Schubert of Mount Prospect
Prayers for Susan M. Schubert (nee Pinnello), 97, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mount Prospect. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Emily Church, Mount Prospect.
Mrs. Schubert was born into eternal life on Sunday, June 6, 1999. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Schubert, retired C. F. D. ; mother of Joy (late John) Armbrust and Diane (Paul) Ehlman; grandmother of Alan Armbrust, Lynley (ThomasJr.)Kleiner, Lesley (Daniel) Brewster, Todd (Gina) Ehlman, and Brett and Paige Ehlman; great-grandmother of Reid and Alexandra Kleiner, Lane Ehlman and Madison Brewster; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Ruth W. Schumm of Libertyville
Services for Ruth W. Schumm, 78, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the United Methodist Church, 429 Brainerd Ave., Libertyville, with the Rev. James E. Scorgie officiating.
Born Dec. 23, 1920, in New Kensington, Pa., to Edward and Amalia Wachter, she passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, Ill.
Ruth was a member of the Class of 1942 at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., and following college was employed by the Aluminum Company of America in New Kensington. She married Louis W. Schumm on Nov. 6, 1943, in New Kensington, and the family moved to Libertyville in 1955 where Ruth was an active school volunteer and District #70 PTA president from 1962 to 1963. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Libertyville Women'sClub, the Knollwood Club, the Town & Country Women and the Libertyville Garden Club, and was an avid golfer. She and her husband also had been seasonal residents of Cove Cay in Clearwater, Fla., since 1984.
Ruth will be especially remembered as a loving wife and mother and a loyal friend.
Surviving are her husband, Louis, who retired in 1984 as president and CEO of Ekco Products, Inc., in Wheeling; daughters, Barbara (Adrian) DeGroot of Irvine, Calif., Marilyn (Alan) Pomeroy of Alameda, Calif., Janet (Bill) Blum of Worthington, Ohio, Joanne (Kurt) Konrath of Inverness and Laura (Dirk) Quayle of Northbrook; and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Endean of Abingdon, Va. ; and brother, Edward Wachter of New Kensington.
Friends of the family may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6to 9 p.m. today, at BurnettDane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Condell Medical Center, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, IL 60048.

Marie B. Smith of Barrington
Marie B. Smith, 71, of Barrington, passed away Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
Ms. Smith was born June 24, 1927, in Chicago, and had attended North Park College. She had worked for TC Properties, Inc., and had received the company's Employee of the Year Award. She was also a volunteer for SHARK (Showing Animals Respect and Kindness).
Survivors include her son, Tad Smith of Brooksville, Fla. ; daughter, Teri (Greg) Campbell of Barrington; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert (Dee) Vogel of San Jose, Calif., and Melvin Vogel of Northbrook; and sister, Helen (Stan) Bjorkman of McHenry.
Memorials may be made to SHARK, PO Box 28, Geneva, IL 60134.

Andrew J. `Andy' Szydlowski formerly of Naperville
Prayers for Andrew J. `Andy' Szydlowski, 80, of Downers Grove, will be said at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church.
Born Jan. 14, 1919, in Cicero, he died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Manor Care in Westmont. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
A resident of Downers Grove for the past 33 years, Mr. Szydlowski had formerly lived in Naperville. He was a retired inspector for Electromotive of LaGrange.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marie of Downers Grove; brothers, Sylvester Schuler of Hot Springs, Ark. and Vincent (Jean) Schuler of North Riverside; sister, Angeline (Orville) Hlava of Naperville; sister-in-law, Mary Szydlowski of Manistee, Mich. ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Anna; and brother, Valentine.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Jack M. Teitelbaum of Buffalo Grove
Graveside services for Jack M. Teitelbaum, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Westlawn Cemetery, Petunia Section, 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge.
He was the dearly beloved husband for 65 years of Frances; loving father of Sheila (Sanford) Bronstein and Michael (Carole); adored grandfather of David (Viola) Bronson, Marci (Chuck) Quinones, Loren (Steven) Edelheit, and Jeffrey and Richard Teitelbaum; proud great-grandfather of Connor Bronson, Eric, Brian and Jessica Quinones, and Zachary and Justin Edelheit; and dear brother of Esther Linn, and the late Rose Goldberg and Dorothy Kornfeld.

Charlene J. Wade of Rolling Meadows
A funeral Mass for Charlene J. Wade, 81, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Colette Church, Rolling Meadows.
Born Dec. 6, 1917, in Sainte Marie Township, Ill., she died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at ManorCare in Rolling Meadows.
Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
She worked for Chicago Ariel in Barrington as an assembler for more than 1O years.
Survivors include her husband, Berton; children, Thomas (Tillie), Barbara Singelmann and Michael (Linda) Wade; grandmother of Theresa (Michael) Rios, Raymond Singelmann, Wendy (Rick) Perez, Jennifer (Peter) Hulen, Daniel Wade, Kevin (Joy) Wade, Shannon (Scott) Martin and Heather Wade; great-grandmother of six; and sister of five brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
