Prayers for Catherine Tuzik-Waldoch will be said at 9:15 a.m. Friday, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at All Saints P. N. C. Church. Interment will be in All Saints P. N. C. Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of Arthur Waldoch; loving mother of William, Gregory (Jean) and Charlie (Becky) Tuzik; and loving grandmother of six.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Frieda A. Barth of Elgin
Private graveside services for Frieda A. Barth, 84, will be held on Thursday. The Rev. Thomas O'Connor will officiate.
Born March 21, 1915, in Elgin, she was the daughter of David and Christana (Wagner) Barth. She passed away Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at Sherman Hospital.
Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
She was a lifelong resident of Elgin and had worked at the Elgin National Watch Factory for 33 years prior to herretirement.
Survivors include her sister, Ann Krabbe of Elgin and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William, Fred, Carl, Gustav, Herman and David Jr. ; and three sisters, Hilda Pester, Caroline Hansen and Edith Barth.
There will be no visitation.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.

June M. Benzing of Palatine
Funeral services and interment for June M. Benzing (nee Peter), 77, will be private.
Born March 9, 1922, in Chicago, she died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights.
A resident of Palatine for more than 50 years, Mrs. Benzing was a retired registered nurse. Sheenjoyed gardening, animals and nature, and crafts, and was very interested in healthcare and nursing issues.
She was the wife for 50 years of the late Frederick R. Benzing; mother of Carol Benzing of Denver, Colo. ; sister of Harvey Peter of Palatine and Victor Peter of Arizona; and aunt of Roger Peter of Arlington Heights and several other nieces and nephews.

Walter L. Berenson of Palatine
Funeral services for Walter L. Berenson, 64, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas of Villanova Church.
Born Sept. 17, 1934, he died Monday, June 7, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
He was the loving husband of the late Jane Berenson; cherished father of Laura and Cynthia Berenson; and dear brother of Lyn Merchant and Jean Serpico.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Alvin E. Case of Wauconda
Services for Alvin E. Case, 97, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at KisselburgWauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Born Feb. 2, 1902, in Wauconda Township, he died Monday, June 7, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Wauconda Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Wauconda, Mr. Case was a farmer and had operated the family farm on Case Road in Wauconda Township for many years prior to his retirement. Hewas a member of the Wauconda Federated Church, Masonic Lodge #298 A. F. & A. M., and the Mayflower Chapter of the OES.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Case (nee Converse); children, Mary McFeely, Carol (Beverly) Dole and Lyle (Mary) Case; daughter-in-law, Marion Case; grandchildren, Sharon, Christi, Laurie, Bruce, Scott, Dee Ann, Cathy, Paula and Michelle; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his children, Harry and Shirley Case; and sister, Alda (Martin) Schaefer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m.

George E. Clifford
Services for George E. Clifford, 69, of Chicago, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division St., Elgin.
The Rev. Mark Lund will officiate.
Born Aug. 27, 1930, in Chicago, to Orville and Minnie (nee Klein) Clifford, he died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at his residence. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
Mr. Clifford was retired from the S & C Electric Company of Chicago where he had worked for 35 years. A veteran, he had served in the Navy during the
Korean War.
Survivors include his son, Charles (Mary) Clifford of Chicago; daughters, Karen (Gary) Voyda of Naperville and Georgiann (Richard) Roy of Chicago; grandchildren, Dylan Voyda, Jeremy Voyda and Carolyn Clifford; and sister, Helen (Howard) Zimmerman of Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Clifford.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, at the church.

Graham R Core of Barrington
Services for Graham R Core will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. The Reverend John Considine will officiate.
Born Aug. 16, 1928, in Lima, Ohio, he passed away Monday, June 7, 1999, in Barrington Hills. Burial will be private.
Mr. Core was owner/principal of Professional Resources & Communications, Inc. (PRC) in Barrington since 1986. Prior to owning PRC, Mr. Core founded Graham Roberts Synergists in Eureka and was a professor of Marketing at Bradley University. Mr. Core served in the Air Force during the
Korean War. He was active in the community as a member of Rotary International and also the Barrington Area Arts Council. His hobbies included airplanes, ashe was a private pilot and member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (A. O. P. A.) Survivors include his wife, Barbara Core; children, Gaye Core, Julia Core, Susan (John) Grusy and Janice (Robert E.) Dunbar; and grandchildren, Jason, Melinda, Jeremy, Jordan, Brandon, Austin, Brianna and Joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Faye Core.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

James J. Daum formerly of Gilberts and Elgin
Services for James J. Daum, 51, of Pecatonica, Ill., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11604 E. Main St., Huntley. Rev. Thomas J. Dempsey will officiate.
Born Sept. 28, 1947, in Elgin, the son of Francis and Helen (nee Stetz) Daum, he died Saturday, June 5, 1999, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
He was a 1964 graduate of Elgin High School and served in the
Army during the Vietname War. Mr. Daum was an auto body repairman for many years with Gerber Auto Body and most recently with Zawacki Motors in Rochelle, Ill.
Surviving are his wife, Donna (nee Rapp) Daum, whom he married on Aug. 25, 1989, in Elgin; son, Garret Rapp; mother, Helen Daum of Elgin; brothers, Jack (Norma) Daum of Huntley, Steven (Sharon) Daum of South Elgin, and Gary and Dean Daum, both of Elgin; sister, Penny Morrison of Belvidere; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; andbrothers, Richard and Daniel Daum.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Thursday, at the funeral home.
Betty Edwards formerly of Waukegan
Services and interment for Betty Edwards, 66, of Long Grove, will be private.
Born Jan. 21, 1933, in Johnson Creek, Wis., she died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
A devoted wife and loving mother, she leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Roy Edwards; daughters, Judy (Mikal) Lavall of Waukegan, Debbie Edwards of Zion and Robin (Keith) Heim of Chicago; son, Tom (Laura) Riddle of Beach Park; grandchildren, Jason Miller, Shelley Miller, Keith and Megan Heim, Kim (Bill) Misinski, Kelly Riddle and Tommy Riddle; and great-grandchildren, Brenden Miller, and Pamala, Michale and Branden Misinski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Born Oct. 2, 1927, in Oak Park, she died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. Golden had been an administrator for the Arlington Heights Senior Center and a 26-year employee of the Arlington Heights Post Office. She was a volunteer eucharistic minister at the Continuing Care Center in Arlington Heights and taught CCD at Our Lady of the Wayside.
She loved arts and crafts and computers.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Martin P. Golden Sr. of Arlington Heights; children, Martin Jr. (Cindy) Golden of Vernon Hills, Mary Ann Golden of Beach Park, Peggy (Patrick CFD) McLaughlin of Chicago, Tricia (Joe) Slawinski of Spring Grove and Susan (Rick) Mullin of Bartlett; and grandchildren, Conor, Evan, Joey, Michelle and Tommy.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
