Henry F. Groebner of Hampshire
Services for Henry F. Groebner, 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St., Hampshire. Rev. Lawrence Ahrens will officiate.
Born April 1, 1930, in Elgin, the son of Henry and Jeanette (nee Pester) Groebner, he died Monday, June 7, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, after an extended illness.
Henry had been farming since he was a youngster. It was the only life he knew and loved, raising poultry, pigs and dairy cows.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine (nee Knuth), whom hemarried on June 9, 1991, in Dundee; sons, Dennis and Mark (Barb) Groebner, both of Hampshire; daughter, Doreen (Ed) Wagner of White Pigeon, Mich. ; brother, Ronald (Marian) Groebner of Brodhead, Wis. ; sisters, Bernell (Leon) Stephenson of Elgin and Marcella (George) Vesely of West Dundee; grandchildren, Tonya, Sharon, Vernon, Austin, Meckenzie, Brandon and Amber; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Opal.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Clyde G. Hodge of Warrenville
Services for Clyde G. Hodge, 67, formerly of Lombard, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn.
Rev. Robert C. Lane will officiate.
Born Sept. 29, 1931, in South Dyersburg, Tenn., he died Monday, June 7, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Mr. Hodge grew up in South Dyersburg and lived in Lombard for 35 years before moving toWarrenville three years ago.
He retired in 1994 as maintenance foreman at Glenbard North High School, where he hadworked since 1974. Prior to that, he was a custodian at Glenbard East High School from 1967 to 1974. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Lombard.
Survivors include his wife, Retha M. (nee Johnston) Hodge of Warrenville, who he married on Dec. 22, 1956, in South Dyersburg; daughter, Jennifer L. Hodge of St. Louis, Mo. ; brother, Allen (Lorraine) Hodge of Concord, Calif. ; sisters, Lavern Yarbro of Hawaii and Bettye (Karl) Gruber of Berthoud, Colo. ; sisterin-law, Mabel Hodge of Glen Ellyn Countryside; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death byhis parents, Sam J. Hodge and Gladys Hodge Sentell; and brother, James Hodge.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Edward Paul Hucko of Mundelein
Services for Edward Paul Hucko, 73, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein. Rev. Wayne Nowack will officiate.
Born Oct. 2, 1925, in Sharon, Pa., he died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Interment will be in Eden Memorial Park, Schiller Park.
Mr. Hucko was a Navy veteran of World War II having servedon the LST 129.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine (nee Moebius); son, Steven of Roundl Lake Park; brother, John (Pearl) Hucko of McKees Rocks, Pa.; niece, Sandra (Dwight) Lewis of New Jersey; and nephew, Daniel (Deena) Hucko of Buffalo, N. Y.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ivanhoe Congregational Church, 21078 West Hwy. 176, Mundelein, IL 60060, would be appreciated.

Terry W. Johnson formerly of Arlington Heights
Services for Terry W. Johnson, 59, of Grayslake, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Friday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas of VillanovaCatholic Church, 1152 Anderson (Anderson and Williams), Palatine.
Born May 8, 1940, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Johnson had been the owner of PIP Printing in Waukegan.
He was the beloved husband for 20 years of Cheryl J. Johnson (nee Smith), whom he married Aug. 25, 1978; loving father of Terry Johnson Jr. of Coal City, Ill., Tammy Johnson of Libertyville, Roger (Christie) Johnson of Chicago and Charles Johnson of Chicago; devoted son of Helen V. Johnson (nee Bailey) of Arlington Heights and the late Roland Johnson; dear brotherof Lolita Matczynski of Hawthorn Woods; and cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Dana K. Johnson
Memorial services for Dana K. Johnson, 67, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.
Mr. Johnson passed away Saturday, April 24, 1999. A veteran, he had served during the Korean War.
He was the beloved husband of the late Reiko Johnson (nee Sodeoka); loving brother of Sue (Ron) Wilkinson and Lynne (Kidd) Harkleroad, both of Mount Carmel; and devoted uncle of Dana (Mark) Davey of Evansville, Ind., Jim (Tonya) Wheeler and Brad (Susan) Wood, both of Mount Carmel, and Bruce (Chris) Wood of St. Louis, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, 14700 Main St., Lemont, IL 60439-0956.
Arrangements were made by the Cremation Society of Illinois.

Gerhardt Kaiser of Vernon Hills
Prayers for Gerhardt Kaiser, 48 will begin at 11:15 a.m. Thursday atBurnett -Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave., (Route 176) in Libertyville and continue to St. Mary of Vernon Church for funeral mass at noon.
Mr. Kaiser, born May 17, 1951 in Austria died Tuesday, June 8, 1999 at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He came to the United States, to live in Chicago when he was only eight months old. Mr. Kaiser was a former resident of Prospect Heights and lived in Vernon Hills since 1978. He was a graduate of St. George High School in Evanston and was a member of St. Mary of Vernon Hills. He was a carpenter for Broadway Construction in Park Ridge and a member of Carpenter's Local #58 in Chicago.
Gerhardt was very involved with the Schwaben Soccer Club in Buffalo Grove where he coached and was an active player.
He is survived by his wife Anna and his two sons, Adam and Erich Kaiser, all of Vernon Hills; his parents, Adam and Anna Kaiser of Prospect Heights; his sister Elizabeth (Harald) Zentner of Prospect Heights and nieces Christina, Renate and Cynthia.
Friends of the family may call at the funeral home from 3 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Anna Lenhardt formerly of Des Plaines and Mount Prospect
Services for Anna Lenhardt (nee Foydl), 95, of Palm Springs, Calif., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born May 4, 1904, in the former Yugoslavia, she died Thursday, May 20, 1999, in Palm Springs. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Oskar Lenhardt; mother of Maria (Heinz) Toeppich of Mount Prospect and Hilda Lothary of Florida; grandmother of Linda (Helmut) Michalko and Gunther (Sue) Lothary; and great-grandmother of Karl Michalko, and Steve and Kevin Lothary.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

James Levins
Services for James Levins, 64, of Fox River Grove, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Galena.
Mr. Levins died Saturday, June 5, 1999. He taught chemistry for many years at Rolling Meadows High School until his retirement nine years ago. He was an active member of the Lions Club of Fox River Grove, where he had lived for the past seven years. Mr. Levins will be remembered for his sense of fun and constant supply of jokes.
Survivors include his former wife, Marian Levins of Palatine; four daughters; one son; 10 grandchildren; mother, Mary Levins of Galena; and sister, JoAnn Aulenbacher.
Arrangements were made by Furlong's Funeral Home, Galena.

Pamela Sue Marabanian of Roselle
Services for Pamela Sue Marabanian, 34, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Rd., Glendale Heights.
Pamela passed away suddenly Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Interment will be in Dundee Township Cemetery, East Dundee.
Miss Marabanian is survived by her companion, Ed Kowalski; son, Joshua Lee Marabanian; mother, Helen (Joseph Sr.) Klein; sister, Justina (Steve) Marhut; twin sister, Peggy; stepsister, Jeanette Klein; and stepbrother, Joseph Jr. (Denise) Klein.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Marabanian.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Mildred N. Mather of St. Charles
Memorial services for Mildred N. Mather, formerly of Wasco, will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Born March 8, 1926, in Chicago, she died Monday, June 7, 1999, at Rosewood Care Center in St. Charles. Private interment will be in Whitney Cemetery, Campton Township.
Mildred and her husband, Lee operated the family service station (Mather's) in Wasco for many years. For the past five years she was an employee of Ward's in St. Charles. She was a former member of the Wasco Ladies Society and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Wasco.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary L. Mather of St. Charles; four nieces and nephews, and an extended family of close friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee F., in 1992, whom she married on Nov. 15, 1947, in St. Charles; parents, Merle and Nettie Northrop; brother, Lawrence Northrop; and sister-in-law, Inas Northrop.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the services Thursday, at the funeral home.
