William R. Kesler of Barrington
Services for William R. Kesler, 80, formerly of Naples, Fla., will be held at 11 a. m. today, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 S. Dundee Ave., Barrington. Reverend Gerald Schalk will officiate.
Born May 28, 1919, in Philadelphia, Pa., he passed away Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at Governors Park Nursing Home in Barrington. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
A member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Mr. Kesler lived with his family in Barrington prior to moving to Naples, where he owned The Frame Gallery, an art and framing store. He retired in 1994 and then returned to Barrington in 1996.
Mr. Kesler was a 1941 graduate of Princeton University after which he served as a captain during World War II in Patton's Third Army.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Brinkman Kesler, widow of Robert C. Brinkman, whom he married in 1968; children, Robert (Diana) Kesler, William (Sheila) Kesler, Anne (Ken) Linenberger, Robert (Amy) Brinkman, James (Nancy) Brinkman and Mary Brinkman Frank; and 17 cherished grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annemarie Heynacher.
Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until the time of the services today, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Altar Guild, 720 S. Dundee Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.

Mary A. Kinsey of Waukegan
A funeral Mass for Mary A. Kinsey (nee Jerina), 90, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday, at Queen of Peace Church, 910-14th St., North Chicago.
Born Aug. 11, 1908, in Bradley, Ill., she passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, at Terrace Nursing Home. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Gerald) Gust of Waukegan; son, Fred (Mary) Sebben of Grayslake; brothers, Fritz (Frances) Jerina and Frank (Frances) Jerina; sisters, Emma Merlock, Sophie Mivshek, Jennie Mulligan, Frances (Bill) Hemersbach and Anne (Tony) Lesnak; five grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kinsey, in 1972; and first husband, Guido Sebben.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a. m. until the time of the Mass Monday, at the church.
Arrangements were made by Salata Funeral Homes.

Oland J. `Oly' Koehring of Elgin
Services for Oland J. `Oly' Koehring, 81, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin, with the Rev. Thomas Niermann officiating.
Born May 19, 1918, in Stover, Mo., to George and Carrie (nee Grafelman) Koehring, he passed away Thursday, June 10, 1999, at his home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Koehring had been employed by Neil's in Elgin for 40 years and was a member of the Painters and Decorators Contractors of America. A veteran, he had served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin, the Elgin American Legion and the Elgin Turners, and was active with Boy Scout Troop 2.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice Koehring (nee Bartels); sons, Dennis (Cynthia) Koehring of North Webster, Ind., and William Koehring of Kingston; grandsons, Andrew and Paul Koehring; sister, Verna (Wilbur) Gamble of Carpentersville; and brothers, Glenn (Rosemary) Koehring of South Elgin and Martin Koehring of Sandwich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randall Koehring, in 1993; sisters, Lela Otte, Vera Kessler and Helen Craker; and brothers, Norman and Marlin Koehring.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

Anna Liska
Services for Anna Liska (nee Sasko), 95, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5106 N. LaCrosse Ave., Chicago. She will lie in state from 10 a. m. until the time of the services.
Born April14, 1904, in Brezova, Slovakia, she died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Burial will be in Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago.
Mrs. Liska was self-employed as a landlord for her own buildings.
She was the wife of the late Edward Liska Sr.; mother of Edward (Karen) Liska of Barrington; and sister of the late Martin, John and Stefan.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p. m. Sunday, at Forest Glen Chapels, Zidek and Son, 5265 N. Elston Ave., Chicago.
Please omit flowers.

Ruth E. Livingston of East Dundee
Funeral services for Ruth E. Livingston, 93, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee. The Rev. Nancy Nyberg will officiate.
BornJune 17, 1905, in Elgin, to George and Inga (nee Anderson) Shaver, she died Friday, June 11, 1999, at the ASTA Care Center, Elgin. Burial will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
A lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. Livingston was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Carpentersville where she was active in the Women's Fellowship and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was also a longtime member and former officer of the Carpentersville Women's Club.
Surviving are her son, William (Joan) Livingston of East Dundee; daughter, Joyce (Kenneth) Lange of Algonquin; granddaughter, Barbara (Mike) Scudder of Plainfield; grandsons, David (Joan) Livingston of Erie, Pa., Jack (Maria) Livingston of Lawrence, Kan., Mike (Julie) Lange of Elk Grove Village and Paul (Maureen) Lange of Lexington, S. C. ; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Colin J. Livingston, the former mayor of Carpentersville, who died in 1962; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Carpentersville or to the American Diabetes. Association.

Jane Maas
Services for Jane Maas, 85, of Elgin, will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. Reverend Thomas Niermann will officiate.
Born Aug. 18, 1913, in Elk Grove Village, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Schnell Busse, she passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin, the Elgin Business and Professional Women's Club, the Elgin Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary #0075 and V. F. W. Auxiliary # 1307.
Survivors include her sister, Verdell Young of St. Charles; sisters-in-law, Margaret Busse and Eulalia Busse, both of Arlington Heights; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; brothers, LaVern Busse, Earl Busse and Frank Busse Jr. ; and sister, Elaine Klabunde.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church in Elgin or Apostolic Christian Resthaven, are appreciated.

Kimberly Ann Malone of Barrington
A wake service for Kimberly Ann Malone, 41, will be held at 7 p. m. Monday, June 14, at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
Born Dec. 17, 1957, in Chicago, she passed away Thursday, June 10, 1999, in Barrington. Burial will be private.
Kimberly was a very caring person who sought adoptions for special needs children. She also enjoyed volunteer work at local hospitals, especially with cancer patients.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Malone, whom she married May13, 1987, in Berkley, Mich. ;parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shire Rothbart of Birmingham, Mich. ;and sister, Julie (Steve) Turner of West Bloomfield, Mich.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. Monday, June 14, at the funeral home.

Dorothea A. Peters
Services for Dorothea A. Peters will be held at 10:30 a. m. today, at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights.
Interment will be in St. Luke Cemetery.
She was the loving wife of the late Walter; dearest mother of Arlene (Arnold) Eisenbraun, Elda (Zemah) Brendle and the late Walter Jr. (Thongbai) Peters; dearest sister of Mildred Ewert, and the late Evelyn (Howard) Peterson, Alvin (Loraine) Wendt, Helen (Carl) Unrath, Lydia (George) Swottnick, Edward (Eleanor) Wendt and Harold (Loraine) Wendt; fond grandmother of Debra (Eloy) Casas, Marcia (Clarence) Harrington, Paul (Teresa) Eisenbraun, Scot (Lynn) Eisenbraun and Berny Peters; and fond great-grandmother 11.
She was preceded in death by her one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 9 a. m. until the time of the services today, at the Lutheran Home.

Joyce Peterson of Elgin
Services for Joyce Peterson, 77, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. The Rev. Steven Srock will officiate.
Born May 11, 1922, in Boonton, N. J., to Joseph and Laura Kovalcik, she died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Sherman Hospital.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A resident of Elgin since 1965, Mrs. Peterson had been employed as a nurse at Sherman Hospital, retiring as head nurse in 1987. She was known at the hospital as the `Teddy Bear Lady.' A veteran of World War II, she had served with the Nurses Navy Corps. She was also a member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen (David) Krog of Elgin and Lori (John) McDonald of Elgin; son, Kent (Patricia) Peterson of Elgin; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Peterson, in 1965.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to a charity of donor's choice.
