Lina Marie Ghilarducci
Lina Marie Ghilarducci (nee Citti) entered eternity June 9, 1999, after 83 years on earth.
Lina was the beloved wife of the late Louis Ghilarducci. She was the youngest sibling of the late John Citti, the late Agnes Grassi and her recently departed sister, Rita Citti.
Her surviving sister is our beloved aunt, Ida (late Paul) Lytis. Lina had four devoted children, the late Robert, Roberta (Duane) Lennon, Richard (Denise Nelson) and Raymond (Theodora Iannello).
She was blessed with six grandchildren who mourn her loss. They include Sean, Danielle and Jennifer Lennon, Adrianna and Vanessa Ghilarducci, and William Ghilarducci. She was the beloved aunt and great-aunt of many.
Lina was a proud 47-year member of St. Edward Parish, an active member of the Pro-Life Organization and past member of the Ladies of the Moose. She retired in 1983 from the commercial world after working withher sister Rita at Cinema Processors, Inc. for more than 15 years.
Her presence will be missed but her spirit willlive on in the memories of her family and friends.
The funeral will be Monday, June 14, at 9:15 a.m. from Baran Funeral Home, 2644-46 N. Central Ave. to St. Edward Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Rev. Salvatore J. `Sam' Ognibene of Chicago
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rev. Salvatore J. `Sam' Ognibene will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. John Bosco Church, 2250 N. McVicker Ave., Chicago.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
He was the loving son of the late Joseph and Agnes (nee Petrine); devoted brother of Rev. Joseph Ognibene, Agnes (Don) Love, Eugene (Lana) Ognibene and the late Matilda (late Charles) Eugling; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He will lie in state from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the church, with a wake service at 7 p.m. Arrangements were made by DeNicolo-Lesniak Funeral Home, Ltd., Chicago.

Shirley C. Annear formerly of Libertyville
Services for Shirley C. Annear, 76, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 10 S. Lake St., Mundelein.
Born Nov. 13, 1922, in Bessemer, Mich., she passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, at Southern Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville.
She lived in Libertyville for 40 years, retiring to Hawthorn Lakes in Vernon Hills and San Antonio. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and retired from Anchor Coupling in Libertyville. She also had been employed at the First National Bank of Libertyville, Lake Forest Bank and was active in various local arts and craft shows.
Surviving are her son, Thomas Annear Jr. of Round Lake; daughter, Ruth Suzanne (Billy, chief master sergeant USAF ret.) Hester of San Antonio; grandchildren, Brandie (George) Wentworth of Hampton, Va., Jamie Annear of Whitewater, Wis. and Thomas `Richie' Hester of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Scott, Anthony and Bradley Wentworth; and sisters, Lois Guernsey of Burnsville, Minn. and Alfreda Griffioen of Schoolcraft, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas V. Annear on Dec. 16, 1993; parents, Alvin G. and Ruth (nee Douglas) Dahlgren; and brother, Douglas Dahlgren.
Friends of the family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Memorial contributions can be made to either St. Andrew's Lutheran Church or the American Lung Association, in her memory.

Ancelma Baltazar of Elgin
Services for Ancelma Baltazar will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Divison, Elgin.
Born July 26, 1930, in Mexico, she died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Sherman Hospital. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
A member of El Mesias Metosdista, she is survived by her son, Venancio (Nicacio) Salazar of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Eli (Ray) Rodriguez of Elgin, Hortencia (Harry) Lorenzo of Elgin, Julia (Enrique) Jaimes of DeLeon, Fla., Toriba (Nicolas) Alejo of Elgin and Laura Salazar; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Silbestre (Imelda) Baltazar of Elgin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Ethel T. Barney of Naperville
A memorial service for Ethel T. Barney (nee Takkunen), 95, a 20-year resident of Naperville and formerly of Oak Park, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 18, at Charles Court Apartments, 300 N. Charles Court, Naperville, with the Rev. Thomas Babler officiating.
Born Feb. 27, 1904, in Ely, Minn., she died Friday, June 11, 1999, at her home.
Interment will be private.
Mrs. Barney was born and raised in Ely. She came to Chicago in her late teens and received her nursing degree from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago. For some years she was employed as a registered nurse at Presbyterian Hospital. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Barney married her husband, Robert, in 1933 and the couple moved to Oak Park. In the late 1970s she moved to Naperville where she was involved in the Naperville Senior Center and the Christian Science Church.
Surviving are her sons, Roger (Evelyn) Barney of Naperville, Ross Barney of Island Lake and Robert (Barrie) Barney of Daleville, Ind.; grandchildren, Erik Barney, Stephan (Donielle) Barney, Paul Barney, Robert Barney and Barbara (Mark) Paschal; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Barney, who was an attorney for Isham, Lincoln & Beale Law Firm in Chicago; three brothers; and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St., Naperville, IL 60540.
Arrangements were made by Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, Naperville.

Jean Bashaw, 73, of Geneva, died Friday, June 11, 1999. Arrangements were made by Malone Funeral Home, Geneva, (630) 232-8233.

Gerald J. Casey of Schaumburg
Prayers for Gerald J. Casey, 52, will be said at 9:15 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Hubert Church.
Born Dec. 9, 1946, in Chicago, he died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
He worked as an EDI manager at DSC Logistics in Des Plaines for 21 years, and is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Patte); son, Patrick of Chicago; brother, Robert (JoAnn) Casey of Skokie; sister-inlaw, Suzanne Abate of Vernon Hills; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Casey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Charles G. Castle of Wauconda
Services for Charles G. Castle, 70, a resident of Wauconda for 29 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda.
Born Sept. 9, 1928, in Saugus, Mass., he died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Mr. Castle was retired from the United States Environmental Protection Agency after 19 years of service. He was a graduate of Middlebury University with a master's degree in organic chemistry and a member of the American Chemical Society. He was also a member of the Lost Chords Society, Music of the Baroque, and PAACT, and was active with the Boy Scouts. A veteran, he had served in the Army.
He was the husbandof Vivian `Cappy' Castle (nee Kapuscinski); father of Charles G. Castle Jr., Mary-Sylvia (John) Dahlstrom, Bonnie (Christopher) Leonard and the late Kathleen Johnson; grandfather of Charles G. III and Paula Castle; Scott and Gordon Leonard, and Clair, John and Timothy Dahlstrom; and brother of William Castle.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to PAACT, 1143 Parmelee NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

Guy Joseph Colby of Skokie
A funeral Mass for Guy Joseph Colby, 58, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Born July 6, 1940, in Chicago, he died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Interment will be private.
An encoder operator for Higgins Printing Company, he is survived by his wife, Marie (nee Ziegler); sons, Guy C. and Thomas J.; brothers, George, Dave (Carol), Art (Judy), Frank and Tony (Jan); and sisters, Nancy (Bob) Lullo, Therese (Jim) Smyth and Kitty (Joe) Taylor.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Mary L. Coonen
A memorial service for Mary L. Coonen (nee Lambert) will be held at 7 p.m. today, at St. Andrew Methodist Church, 250 N. Gary, Carol Stream. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, Neb.
She was the beloved wife of the late J. Howard Coonen; devoted mother of Susan (Paul) Aguilar; fond grandmother of Alexis; loving daughter of Mildred Lambert; and dear sister-in-law of Garey (Gayle) Coonen, Mary Ellen Hogarth and Suzanne Coonen.
A visitation will follow the services at the church.
Arrangements were made by Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, Roselle.

Kristine M. Culbertson of Mundelein
Prayers for Kristine M. Culbertson (nee Hill), 47, formerly of the Edison Park community of Chicago, will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at M. J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago.
Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Harlem and Talcott Aves., Chicago.
Born Dec. 11, 1951, in Chicago, she died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Condell Medical Center. Burial will be inAll Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A homemaker, she was the wife for 25 years of Joey Culbertson; mother of Ashley Morgan and Rebecca Morgan Culbertson of Mundelein; daughter of Sydney J. and the late Lorraine Hill of Edison Park; sister of Steven Hill of Norwood Park; lifelong friend of Rae Knight; and daughter-in-law of Bobby Culbertson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Clarence `Count' Deadwyler
Services for Clarence `Count' Deadwyler, 85, of Chicago, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Cage Funeral Home, 7651 S. Jeffrey, Chicago.
Born May 3, 1914, in Georgia, he died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Deadwyler lived in Chicago for 81 years. He worked asInternational Harvester until his retirement. He was a quiet gentleman who loved his family and worked hard all ofhis life to provide for them.
Survivors include his wife, Earla Mae `Honey' (nee Griswold), whom he married on March 6, 1937; children, Andre' (Gail) Deadwyler of Des Plaines, Regina Mayo of Chicago and Melvin Troy of Chicago; grandchildren, Philip, Takesha, Katrina, Brandonn, Tiffany and John; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula; and sister, Vajetta.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
