Wayne Allen Stickles formerly of Hanover Park
Services for Wayne Allen `Buford' Stickles, 63, of Marengo, formerly of Hanover Park, will be held at 7:30 p. m. Sunday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/ Schaumburg.
Born July 6, 1935, in Litchfield, Ill., he died Thursday, June 24, 1999, in Marengo.
Cremation will be private.
Mr. Stickles was the owner of a bar in Colombus, Mo. A veteran, he was proud of having served in the Marine Corps. Mr. Stickles was a member of the Streamwood Moose Lodgeand the Streamwood Amvets, and loved bowling, fishing and playing pool.
He was the husband of Elaine Stickles (nee Kohl); father of Richard Stickles of California, Ezra James Stickles of Lincoln, Neb., Angela Sue of Arizona, Darryl of California, Susan (Michael) Lyp of Hanover Park, Cathy Jo of Arizona, Steven, Tom, Diane of California, Rick Johansen of California, and the late Wayne Stickles III and Wayne Stickles Jr.; stepfather of Matt Fitch of Montana, Bobby (Martha) Sanders of Salina, Kan., Brenda Ryefield of Palatine and Bobbie (Mark) Mitchell of Covington, Ga.; grandfather of Sabrina, Mikie, Amanda, Ryan, Corey and Danielle Stickles, and Catrina Ryefield; son of the late Ezra James and Opal (nee Martin) Stickles; and brother of Joe, Buck, and the late Robert (Nancy) Stickles.
Visitation will be from 3 p. m. until the time of services at 7:30 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

Lillian J. Stryker of Palatine
Funeral services for Lillian J. Stryker will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park, Ill. Interment will be in the Irving Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stryker was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She was the beloved wife of thelate Fred Stryker; loving mother of Frederick and Gerald (Dianne) Stryker; fond grandmother of Susan, Frederick, Diane, Edward, Debbie and the late Keith; and great-grandmother of seven. She was the dear sister of the late Margaret (the late William) Shanahan, the late Lawrence (the late Virginia) Goetzelman, and the late Clarence (Colleen) Goetzelman; fond aunt of many; and cousin of Betty Ann Cleary.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

David Lee `Dave' Utterback of Naperville
Funeral services for David Lee `Dave' Utterback, 54, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday, at FriedrichJones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
Born July 13,1944, in Michigan City, Ind., he died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Naperville Cemetery, Naperville.
Mr. Utterback was raised in Michigan City, and was a 1962 graduate of Issac C. Elston High School. He received a bachelor of science degree and an MBA in marketing from Michigan State University, where he was also amember of the Theta Chi fraternity. A veteran, Mr. Utterback had served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 and was stationed in Fort Benning, Ga. For 19 years he had been employed by Sears Roebuck and Company as a home fashion buyer and later became an independent representative for several companies. A former resident of Lansing, Mich., Westmont and La Grange, Mr. Utterback had moved to Naperville in 1976 and was a member of First Congregational United Churchof Christ. He enjoyed computers, photography and working in his yard, and was an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Diane K. Utterback (nee Grewe) of Naperville; daughters, Debra (Antoine) Mourad of New Jersey and Kathryn Diane (fiance, Steven Yingling) Utterback of Albuquerque, N. M.; sister, Eleanor (bob) Albers of Fort Defiance, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Zelda Utterback; and sister, Nadine Wood.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Congregational United Church of Christ stained glass window fund, 25 E. Benton Ave., Naperville, IL 60540.

John L. `Jay' Villano Jr., 43, of Lombard, died Thursday, June 24, 1999. Arrangements were made by Knollcrest Funeral Home, Lombard, (630) 932-1500.

Rudolph E. `Rudy' Walthers, 79, of Elk Grove Village, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999. Arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village, (847) 640-0566.

Glen Wood of Des Plaines
Services for Glen Wood, 92, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born Oct. 5, 1906, in Jacksonville, Ark., he died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at home.
Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Mr. Wood had worked as a production manager for Wyeth Industries prior to his retirement. Afterwards he sold real estate for Eidemiller Real Estate. Mr. Wood was a member of the Maine Township Senior Citizens, a former Mason, and a former Toastmaster. He was the past president of the Ballard Acres Association and was instrumental in having water and sewer lines installed in that area. He was also involved in the CNN Meals on Wheels.
He was the beloved husband of the late Wilma Wood; loving father of Robert (Deborah) Wood of San Diego, Calif., Richard Wood, William (Marguerite) Wood, Benjamin (Kathleen) Wood, and Frances (Neil) Martin, all of Des Plaines, and the late Glen Wood; dear brother of Jessie (Margie) Wood, Hazel (Jack) Polk and Helen Brown, all of North Little Rock, Ark.; proud grandfather of 14; and great-grandfather of two.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Herbert D. Arenth of Belvidere
A funeral Mass for Herbert D. Arenth, 72, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 323 N. Taylor St., Marengo.
Born April 6, 1927, in Chicago, the son of Henry and Elaine (nee Kostakos) Arenth, he died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he is survived by his nieces, Charlene (Bob) Moore of Palm Desert, Calif., Alison (Ronald) Carey of The Colony, Texas, Kerry (Preston) Irwin of Bartlett and Kelly (Dean) Pelland of CarolStream; nephew, Alan Davis of Mitchell, S. D.; sisters-in-law, Ann (Aubrey) Davis of Garland, Texas and Cecelia Blazevich of Palm Desert; and brother-in-law, John (Rita) Harvard of Naperville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline (nee Zolvinski), whom he married on Jan. 10, 1959, in Naperville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p. m. today, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo.

Charlotte Rose Beres of Ingleside
A memorial service for Charlotte Rose Beres (nee Huber), 88, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside.
Born Feb. 2, 1911, in Milwaukee, Wis., she passed away Thursday, June 24, 1999, at ManorCare in Libertyville. Interment will be held privately.
Mrs. Beres had been a resident of Ingleside since 1967 and was a member of the Fox Lake Lions Club and St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside.
She leaves her sons, August (Dorothy) Beres of Round Lake Beach and Ken F. Beres of Palatine; grandchildren, Theodore, Nicholas, Kathleen, Kenneth, Deborah and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Austin and Evan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Beres.
Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel& Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake.

Elizabeth M. Bonfanti of Hanover Park
Services for Elizabeth M. Bonfanti (nee Casanova), 91, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) ,Roselle. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of the late John; devoted mother of June (Frank) Euliano, Lorraine Contractor, Beverly (George) Siran and Carol (late Dr. Bernard) Haberman; loving daughter of the late Angelo and Rosa (nee Faoro) Casanova; dear sister of Josephine Burno and the late Dante (Iva) Ventura; fond grandmother of John (Patty) and Steven (Lynn) Euliano, Diane (Peter) Beach, Zubin, Raymoun and Cyrus (Melissa) Contractor, Michael (Stephaney) and Ronnie (Gina) DeAngelis, and Tony (Wendy) and David Haberman; and great-grandmother of 18.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Frances T. Bouma of Round Lake
Services for Frances T. Bouma, 93, will be held at 11:30 a. m. Tuesday,at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Born in 1905, in Kentucky, she passed away Thursday, June 24, 1999, in Libertyville. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Libertyville.
She married Martin Bouma in 1953, and lived in Lake County the rest of her life.
She was an active member and past president of the Grandmothers Club of Lake County.
Survivors include her sister, Mabel Fryrear of Texas and J. W. Sorrell of Kentucky; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Evelyn and Roy Vlink.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995.
Visitationwill be from 9:30 a. m. until the time of the services Tuesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Paramedic Unit of the Round Lake Department, are appreciated.

Lucille Cacioppo of Mount Prospect
A funeral Mass for Lucille Cacioppo, 66, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday, at St. Cecilia Church, Golf Rd. (Route 58) and Meier Rd., Mount Prospect.
Born May 7, 1933, in Chicago, she died Friday, June 25, 1999. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
She was the wife of the late Henry F. Cacioppo; mother of Catherine (Timothy) Duffy and Ronald Cacioppo; grandmother of Paul (Christie) and Wayne (Melissa); great-grandmother of Cassandra, Jillian and Jessica; sister of Fr. Michael Valente, Josephine Saluzzo and Jennie (Frank) Penze; and aunt of many.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p. m. today, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect, and from 9 a. m. until the time of the Mass Monday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association, are appreciated.

Thomas I. Campbell of Beach Park
Visitation for Thomas I. Campbell, 64, will be held from 5 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, at Marsh Funeral Home, Ltd., 305 Cemetery Road, Gurnee.
Born June 15, 1935, in Waukegan, he died Friday, June 25, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be private.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Annunciation of Our Lady Church. He was also a part of the Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association and the American Association of Retired People. Mr. Campbell was a veteran, and was employed as a precision sheet metal fabricator.
He is survived by hismother, Evalyn H. Campbell; children, Lorri Lynn (Ken) Tackett, Gloria J. (Dean) Bunnell and Edward Alan Sr. (Kathy) Campbell; grandchildren, Shawnah, Richard, Julie, Edward Jr. and Jacqueline; and nephew, Don Jr.

Daniel Patrick Cassin of Lake Zurich
Prayers for Daniel Patrick Cassin, 46, formerly of Des Plaines, will be said at 9:30 a. m. Monday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich. Mass will follow at 10 a. m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich.
Born Jan. 10, 1953, in Chicago, he died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
A member of Local Union #134 I. B. E. W., he was the beloved husband for 18 years of Mary; loving father of Diana; son of Adrienne Scheuneman and the late James Cassin; brother of Michael (Cyndy), Jeffrey (Christine) and Terrence (Rae); stepbrother of Kurt, Joanne, Jolynn, Janet, Joyce, Mark and Mary; uncleof 12; and friend of Bill W.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at the funeral home.
