Frieda Fritz of Elgin Visitation for Frieda Fritz, 94, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
Private funeral services will be held on Tuesday, with the Rev. Mark Lund officiating.
Born March 1, 1905, in Germany, to Gustav and Wilhelmina Gemmrig, she passed away Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Fritz had come to the United States in 1928 and had been an Elgin resident since that time. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Elgin and the Elgin Turners Women's Club.
Survivors include her daughters, Eleanor (Raymond) Schaaf of Elgin and Marianne McCallum of Denver, Colo.; son, Ernst (Sonia) Fritz of Waukesha, Wis.; four grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Karola Friedrich, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl W. Fritz, in 1977; son, Carl; one brother; one sister; and one grandson.
Memorials may be given to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Radio Ministry.

Helen T. Gleixner formerly of Palatine
Prayers for Helen T. Gleixner (nee Kiolbossa), 70, of Oxford, Wis., will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Palatine.
Born April 7, 1929, in Chicago, she died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at ManorCare, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mrs. Gleixner had been employed for 10 years at the Northrop Company in Rolling Meadows and was a member of VFW Auxiliary Arlington Heights Post #981.
Survivors include her husband, John J. Gleixner, whom she married on July 24, 1954; sons, Robert (Maureen) of Hoffman Estates and Michael (Caryn) of Villa Park; sisters, Jean (Joe) Zwierzyna of Belvidere and Lillian Suter of Chicago; and grandchildren, Tracy, Andrew, Leah and Adam Gleixner, and Chelsy Gleixner.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Anita R. Greenfield of Elgin Services for Anita R. Greenfield, 68, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, atMadison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
Rev. Herman Christiansen will officiate.
Born Feb. 11, 1931, in St. James, Minn., the daughter of Rev. Walther and Alma Trump Rolf, she passed away Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Private burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, Forest Park.
Mrs. Greenfield was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the chancel choir for 20 years. She was retired from Fox River Tire Company in St. Charles.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, whom she married on July 4, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Lois (Andy) Lawton of Newark, De.; son, Peter Greenfield of Golden, Colo.; sisters, Henriette Nuttail of Conroe, Texas, Cordelia Degnen of San Diego, Calif. and Ramona Neeb of Hurst, Texas; brother, Rev. Richard Rolf of Springfield, N. Y.; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Greenfield of Chicago and Lorraine Rolf of St. Paul, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Chancel Choir.

Kathryn L. Hamm of Geneva
Services for Kathryn L. Hamm, 50, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at United Methodist Church of Geneva, 211 Hamilton St., Geneva.
Rev. Larry Hilkemann will officiate.
Born March 21, 1949, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Clifford and Kathryn (nee Boster) Pope, she passed away Friday, July 2, 1999, at the University Hospital in Madison, Wis. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva.
Kathryn worked for Houghton Mifflin Company, both in St. Charles and Geneva, in customer service for 19 years.
She was also stationed atFort Bragg, N. C. serving as an Army nurse from 1967 to 1969.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Michael D.; stepdaughter, Sarah Nicole; mother, Kathryn Pope of Missouri; sister, Toni (John) Rudloph of Missouri; brothers,Ron Pope of Oregon, Dutch (Patty) Pope of Hanover Park and Clifford Pope of Missouri; mother-in-law, Shirley Scottof St. Charles; father-in-law, Donald (Beverly) Hamm of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles;and many in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Pope; and sister, June.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St., Geneva.

Harry James Haynes of McHenry
Services for Harry James Haynes, 86, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. Roger W. Schneider of Shepherd of theHills Lutheran Church will officiate.
Born Sept. 6, 1912, in McKenzie, Tenn., the son of Joseph and Mary (nee White) Haynes, he died Friday, July 2, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. Burial will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
Mr. Haynes retired in 1969 from Central Can in Chicago, and he enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Brown), whom he married on June 6, 1941, in Norwood Park; daughters, Margaret (Pete) Bedulskis of McHenry and Rose Vermillion of Chicago; son, Harry (Karen) Haynes of Romeoville; grandchildren, Pete (Rosa) Bedulskis III, Ken Vermillion, Benson Vermillion and David Haynes; great-grandson, Brandon Bedulskis; and siblings, Bobby Haynes, Marvin Haynes, Mary Jarr and Nell (Chester) Wojtanek.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Vermillion; his parents; one brother; and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Anton A. Hegglin, 91, of Villa Park, died Friday, July 2, 1999. Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, Villa Park, (630) 832-4161.

Harold G. Hudik of Carpentersville
Services for Harold G. Hudik, 65, will begin at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Monica Catholic Church in Carpentersville. The Rev. L. Thomas Risley will officiate.
Born Oct. 18, 1933, in Chicago, to Joseph and Rose (nee Ricker) Hudik, he died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township East Cemetery.
Mr. Hudik had been a resident of the Carpentersville area for 26 years and was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.
He was a former 43-year employee of AT&T (Lucent Technologies).
Surviving are hiswife of 35 years, Loretta M. Hudik (nee Lucas), whom he married May 9, 1964; daughter, Lisa of Elgin; sons, David (Cindy) of Elgin and Paul of Ohio; grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob; sister, Roberta (Ron) Lorenz of Berwyn; and brothers, Bernard (Claudette) of North Riverside, Richard (Colette) of Lombard and Martin (Eileen) of Berwyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, the Rev. Joseph Hudik.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday,at the funeral home.

Mildred A. Kaiser of Fox Lake
Services for Mildred A. Kaiser, 91, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road (the chapel on the lake), Fox Lake. The Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman will officiate.
Born Oct. 20, 1907, she died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center. Interment will be private.
A resident of Leisure Village in Fox Lake, Mrs. Kaiser had been employed as an executive secretary in the medical field. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her cousins, Florence Humiston of Sun City, Ariz., and Jeanette Dilg of Doylestown, Pa.; grandcousins, Kevin L. Humiston of Palatine, Scott B. Humiston of McHenry and Christopher Humiston of Baltimore, Md.; and great-grandcousins, Charlaine R. Humiston of Ingleside, Kyle R. Humiston of Palatine and Lauryn Humiston of Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Kaiser, on Nov. 8, 1979.

Mary Helen Kane
Mary Helen Kane, age 100, passed to the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 1999.
She was the beloved wife of the late George Kane Sr.; beloved sister of Catherine (late John) Greabe and the late Joseph Devins; cherished and deeply loved by daughter, Peggy (late Lloyd) Norris and sons, Rev. George Kane, Thomas (Dorothy) and Bernard; loving grandmother of Richard (Linda) Norris, Kathleen (Robert) Kazunas, Thomas (Terri) Norris, Sue (Chris) Postlewaite, Meg (Tom) Campbell, Michael (Jana) Kane, Maribeth (Neal) Albrecksten, Daniel Kane, Patrick Kane and Julie (Evan) McNally; great-grandmother of Brian, Kristen and Colleen Kazunas, Kevin, Kyle, Ryan, Shannon and Sean Norris, Kristie McPeak, Jennifer Leahy, Mary Hartmann, Mike Leahy, Scott, Neal and Jessica Campbell, Tyler Albrecksten and Jason Postelwaite; great-great-grandmother of Alexis and Rebecca Hartmann; and aunt of Ray (Dolores) Greabe and Joe Devins.
She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Her memory and goodness will remain in our hearts,and we pray, in our lives.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, and 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) ,Streamwood/ Schaumburg. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Gather for prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1451 W. Bode Rd., Schaumburg.

Violet W. Keisler formerly of Elgin
Services for Violet W. Keisler, 60, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Elgin, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. The Rev. Gordon Smith will officiate.
Born June 19, 1939, in Hawk Inlet Camp, Alaska, to Waso S. and Helen Jukich Pekovich, she died Thursday, July 1, 1999, in Mesa. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery East.
Surviving are her husband, Duayne Keisler; children, Robert Voelker of Waterloo, Iowa, Keven Voelker of New Haven, Ill., Patricia Groneman of South Elgin and Donna Reuterman of Elgin; brothers, Sam and Andy Pekovich, both of Juneau, Alaska; mother, Helen Pekovich of Juneau; nine grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Olive I. Knoch of Naperville
Services for Olive I. Knoch, 104, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, then proceed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 26 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville.
Born Sept. 30, 1894, she died Friday, July 2, 1999, at Provena-Geneva Care Center, Geneva. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Naperville, she retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
She is survived by her sister, Gertrude Knoch, of Geneva; and nieces, Mary Ory of Naperville and Nina DeWitz of Mesa, Ariz.; and was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude Knoch; brother, Frank Knoch; sisters, Mina and Irene Knoch; and nephew, George Knoch.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
