Marie K. Anderson of Hanover Park
Private funeral services will be held for Marie K. Anderson (nee Comparetto), 63, a resident of Hanover Park for 31 years.
Born April 22, 1936, in Chicago, she died Saturday, July 10,1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates. Burial will be in Dellwood Cemetery, Dellwood, Wis.
She was the beloved wife of the late Eric W. Anderson; loving mother of Wayne (Georgia) Anderson of St. Charles; Lynn (Rusty) Votava of Roselle and Rick (Michelle) Anderson of Bartlett; cherished grandmother of Victoria, Kyle and Olivia; and dear sister of Anthony, Victor and James Comparetto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Carol Comparetto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Stroke Association, 96 Inverness Drive East, Suite I, Englewood, CO 80112-5112, (800) 787-6537.
Arrangements were made by Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Streamwood/Schaumburg.

Margery Anne Ashley of Plum Grove Estates, Palatine
Services for Margery Anne Ashley, 68, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
Born March 29, 1931, in Freeport, Ill., she died Friday, July 9, 1999, in Palatine.
Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University, she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Palatine. A wonderful neighbor and friend to all, Marge's unique style will be missed.
Survivors include her sons, William Brett (Emma) Ashley and Scott Edward (Cynthia Joy) Ashley; grandchildren, Fawn and Billy Ashley; and sister, Phyllis (John) Moss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Ashley.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Ceda Baldini of Arlington Heights
Services for Ceda Baldini (nee Chiolak), 76, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, and continue with Mass at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights.
Born Feb. 22, 1923, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, at Church Creek Healthcare Center. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Survivors include her sons, Robert C. and Brian J. (Carol) Baldini, both of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Stephanie and Thomas; sister, Elizabeth (William) Berger; brother, Stephan (Violet) Chiolak; sister-in-law, Ida Baldini; and brother-inlaw, Steven Ciolac.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Baldini; and sisters, Marie (Harry) Eby, Martha Ciolac and Anne Ciolac.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Masses in her memory would be appreciated by the family.

Theodore Budz of Des Plaines
Services for Theodore Budz, 81, a resident of Des Plaines for 41 years and formerly of Chicago, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland, Des Plaines, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Zachary Church, Des Plaines.
Born June 25, 1918, in Chicago, he died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at home. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mr. Budz was a veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He was also a member of the Berwyn Moose Lodge 424 and the St. Zachary Goldenaires.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Julie Budz (nee Brey); sons, Jack (Carrie) and Dr. Jerome Budz; grandchildren, Adam, Dartagnon and Tristan; and sister, Louise Kmiec.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Evelyn R. Carter of Crystal Lake
Funeral services and interment for Evelyn R. Carter, 83, of Crystal Lake, will be private.
Born Nov. 14, 1915, in Chicago, to Albert and Georgiana (nee Clish) Klusinski, she died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Valley Hi Nursing Home, Woodstock.
Surviving are her children, John Alan Carter and Janice Gail Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Carter, whom she married July 21, 1941, in Chicago, and who died July 12, 1955.
Arrangements were made by Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake.

Donald L. Clute, 75, of Elgin, died Saturday, July 10, 1999. Arrangements are being made by Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, (847) 741-8800.

Ruth E. Dasher formerly of Libertyville
Services for Ruth E. Dasher, 93, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Park and Garfield Avenues, Libertyville, with the Rev. Martin E. Schoell, pastor, officiating.
Born Jan. 7, 1906, in Libertyville, she passed away Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander, Wis. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Dasher spent most of her life in Libertyville until 1992 when she moved to live with her daughter in Rhinelander.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Libertyville and was a former cook at Rondout School. Ruth was also a seamstress and, in addition, owned and operated the Village Pantry Restaurant.
Surviving are her sons, Carl Dasher of Gurnee and Marcus (Joyce) Dasher of Libertyville; daughters, Betty (Nello) Pagliai of Gurnee, Marilyn (George) Priebe of Lewisville, Texas, and Patricia (Donald) Dove of Rhinelander; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Henrietta (nee Batz) Seiler; husband, Herman Dasher; daughter, Phyllis Ackley; son, Charles Dasher; brothers, Bud, Carl and John Seiler; and sister, MinnieGardner.
Friends of the family may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. ParkAve., Libertyville.

Donald E. Deuster of Mundelein
Services for Donald E. Deuster, 69, of Sylvan Lake, Mundelein, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176),Libertyville, followed by a two-block walking procession led by a Dixieland band past his beloved gardens to the First Presbyterian Church for services at 10 a.m.
Born Sept. 26, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Bud and Dorothy Deuster, he passed away Saturday, July 10, 1999, at his home, from colon cancer. Interment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee, following the services.
Mr. Deuster had been a Sylvan Lake resident for the past 35 years. A graduate of Ripon College in Wisconsin, he received his law degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and then served in the Army during the Korean War with the rank of first lieutenant.
Don began his career in the legal department at Kemper Insurance Company as a legislative assistant to Mr. J. S. Kemper. He later became an administrative assistant to Congressman Robert McClory and a congressional liason for former president Richard Nixon. At that time, he worked for the U. S. Department of Transportation and was instrumental in passing the Amtrak bill. Don returned to Illinois in 1971 and became an elected state representative from 1973 to 1983. He later opened a law office in Libertyville and formed and served as president of the Young Republicans Club.
Don was a deacon, elder, teacher and current member of the First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville. He was also past president and Paul Harris fellow of the Mundelein-Vernon Hills Rotary Club, former director for the Lake County YMCA, past president of the Fremont School PTA, and, in 1960, had his own television show on Channel 11 called `Get Into Politics. ' A man of many talents, Don was a master gardener, receiving an award from the Village of Libertyville for his gardens on Route 176. He was also an artist who loved to paint and a musician. Don played the trumpet as a child and was in `Ripley's Believe It or Not' as the `Youngest Trumpet Player' at age two.
He also played the piano `in the key of C. ' Don's favorite music was jazz, Dixieland and anything by Louis Armstrong.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Katharine B. Deuster of Sylvan Lake; daughters, Mary (Larry) Schmitt of Downers Grove, Ruth (Bill) Oran of St. Charles, Jane (Jerry) Nichilo of Wheaton and Anne Deuster of Sylvan Lake; and grandchildren, Michael and David Schmitt, Dylan and Kyle Oran, and Brian, Leah, Lauren and Jeff Nichilo.
Friends of the family may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Carolyn M. Dowd of Prospect Heights
Services for Carolyn M. Dowd (nee Madl), 57, will begin with prayers at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Alphonsus Church.
Born Feb. 25, 1942, in Chicago, she passed awayFriday, July 9, 1999, at her home. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Carolyn had been a lovingcaretaker of her family and friends since she was 18 years old. She served them with a courageous, tenacious and gentle spirit.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Raymond Dowd; her loving daughters, Cheryl (Thomas) Scanlan andLauren (Keith) Erickson; her devoted grandchildren, Michael and David Scanlan, and Linda and Kelly Erickson; her dear mother, Helen Madl; her sisters, Susan (Mario) Hugas, Catherine Yarris and Marianne Madl; and brother, Richard.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

William V. `Doc' Dreymiller of Batavia
Graveside services for William V. `Doc' Dreymiller, 80, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, for family and friends, at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia. The Rev. Philip D. Lund will officiate.
Born Aug. 8, 1918, in Rockford, to William and Allie (nee Vincent) Dreymiller, he died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at DelnorCommunity Hospital in Geneva, from complications following a stroke he suffered on June 30, 1999.
Mr. Dreymiller was united in marriage to Maxine Anderson on Sept. 14, 1940, at the Bethany Lutheran Church Parsonage in Batavia. He served in World War II in the Pacific. `Doc' was co-owner of Abe and Docs Service inBatavia for 20 years.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Batavia Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #682.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Maxine; daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Miller; son, Bill (Lynn) Dreymiller; grandchildren, Jennifer and Craig Miller, Bryen and Tod Koutsoures, and Lura Dreymiller; and extended family members and many dear friends.

Elizabeth `Betty' Ehlen of Lake Forest
Services for Elizabeth `Betty' Ehlen (nee Hoffmann), 96, will begin with prayers at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at BurnettDane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville.
Born April 15, 1903, inChicago, she passed away Thursday, July 8, 1999, at the Westmoreland Home of Lake Forest Hospital. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, following Mass.
Formerly of Inverness and Des Plaines, Mrs. Ehlen had lived in Lake Forest for the past seven years. She was a former member of the Resurrection Hospital Auxiliary in Chicago.
Betty was a special mom to Mary Adams; dear grandmother of Michael Mulcrone; and great-grandmother of Tiffany, Kylee and Logan Mulcrone. Also surviving are her nieces, Lyn Westphal, Paula Geddes and Jean Merrill; and several great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ehlen, in 1979, and her sisters, Evelyn Klicka and Irene Schuler.
Friends of the family may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
