E. Karl Faitz of Wildwood
Services for E. Karl Faitz, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, 305 Cemetery
Road, Gurnee.
Born Aug. 16, 1932, in Chicago, he died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at St. Therese Hospital. Burial will be private.
Mr. Faitz had been director of building and zoning in Oak Lawn for more than 20 years, in Vernon Hills for 10 years and in Libertyville for eight years, prior to his retirement in December 1998. He was past president of BOCA, an Eagle Scout and a member of the Lake County Mounted Posse.
He was the beloved husband of Betsy Faitz; loving brother of Stanton A. (Janet) Faitz; dear uncle of Christine (James) Waiter; and great-uncle of Julia Waiter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Harriet Faitz.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Larry `Swede' Froid of Hanover Park
Funeral services for Larry `Swede' Froid, 68, will be held at 8 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
Born Feb. 3, 1931, in Chicago, he passed away Thursday, July 8, 1999, while fishing in Wisconsin. A private family interment will be held in Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside.
He was the loving father of Lisa (John) Spears of McHenry, Jeff Spears of Hanover Park and Lorna (Dennis) Battaglia of Lake in the Hills; proud grandfather of John, Scott and Carrie Spears, and Jennifer and Corey Battaglia; and dear son of Elizabeth A. Froid of McHenry and the late Sven H. Froid. He is also fondly remembered by Nancy Froid.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Erwin H. Goettsche formerly of the Des Plaines area
Services for Erwin H. Goettsche, 84, of Park Falls, Wis., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born Nov. 7, 1914, in Chicago, he died Friday, July 9, 1999, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Wisconsin. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
A carpenter and resort owner, he is survived by his sister, Myrtle (Robert) Miller of Wisconsin; nieces, Mary Ann (James) Yates of California, and Rita Kottler and Linda Miller, both of Wisconsin; nephew, Ronald (Judy) Goettsche of Des Plaines; cousin, Helen Warzynski of Chicago; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Franklin R. Havlik of Batavia
Private funeral services for Franklin R. Havlik of Batavia, formerly of Glen Ellyn, will be held on Wednesday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home in Batavia.
He passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Hinsdale Hospital. Interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery.
Mr. Havlik was a graduate of Morton High School and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. A veteran, he had served in the Air Force during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for Navistar International as an engineer in research and development. Franklin enjoyed stone sculpturing of animals and working with wood and metal crafts. Most of all, he devoted his life to his beloved family and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Rosemarie Havlik; sons, Craig and Gary Havlik, both of Batavia; sister-in-law, Emily Havlik of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; nephews, Neil (Judith) Havlik of Perry, Ark., and Douglas Havlik of Ames, Iowa; niece, Rebecca (William) Palmer ofWheaton; and several extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Havlik.
There will be no visitation.

Wayne A. Holloway of Round Lake
Services for Wayne A. Holloway, 66, a resident of Round Lake for 32 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born in Chicago, he passed away Saturday, July 10, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, following the services.
A veteran, Mr. Holloway had served in the Navy during the
Korean War. He was an avid Cubs fan as well as a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Iron Workers Union Local #63, and the American Legion Stars and Stripes #1170 in Round Lake Park.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Holloway, whom he wed Oct. 27, 1956; children, Wayne (Dawna) Holloway Jr., Debbie (Scott) Charbonneau and Lori Polejewski; grandchildren, Alissa, Brandon, Kevin, Amanda, Stacy, Brittany and Ryan; and his mother, Eleanor Krueger.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Krueger; brother, Roger Holloway; and sister, Janice Smith.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.
Richard J. Hrubecky formerly of Elgin
A funeral Mass for Richard J. Hrubecky, 66, of Flippin, Ark., formerly of Elgin, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Thomas Dempsey will officiate.
Born Nov. 30, 1932, in Chicago, to James and Zdenka (nee Vopatek) Hrubecky, he passed away Friday, July 9, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Hrubecky was retired from the Water Reclamation District of Chicago. A
Korean War veteran, he was a member of VFW Post 2378 in Berwyn.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hrubecky; daughters, Susan (Richard) Pryzeki, Diane (Daniel) Kolar and Louise (James) Juarez; and grandchildren, J. R., Brittany, Brandon, Desirae and Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia; his parents; and his brother, James.

She was the mother of Arnold (Carol Ann) Krebs, Jackie (Dick) Stone and the late Elaine Adams; grandmother of Michelle Adams, Robert (Christine) Krebs, Lisa Krebs, Christine (Patrick) Logan, Matthew Vehrs, Jeffrey Vehrs, Jennifer Vehrs and Brett Adams; and great-grandmother of four.

Helen Marie Lietz of Geneva

Born Sept. 17, 1904, in Chicago, she died peacefully Saturday, July 10, 1999, at home. Burial will be private.
She lived in Chicago until 1990, when she relocated to the St. Charles/Geneva area. Before her marriage, Helen had been employed by Amalgamated Bank in Chicago as a bookkeeper for 15 years.
She loved reading and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and animals.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne (James) Millington of St. Charles; grandchildren, Nicole of Washington, D. C., and David and Amanda, both of St. Charles; and her loving caregiver, Nevena Pirova.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Poturalski) Bernacki; husband, John Lietz, in 1986; and one sister and five brothers.
Anna M. Migliorato of Carpentersville
A funeral Mass for Anna M. Migliorato, 63, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee.

Born Dec. 2, 1935, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Harley and Verna (nee Thornton) LeVault, she died Friday, July 9, 1999, at home. Burial will be inDundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
She was a 10-year resident of the area, a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church and an employee of Dominick's Food Store in East Dundee.
Survivors include her sons, Larry (Sharon) of Bloomingdale, Steve (Judy) of Carol Stream and Michael (Ann) of Carpentersville; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otalio, on Oct. 27, 1998.

Eric Moehlmann of Crystal Lake

Born Dec. 26, 1961, in Chicago, to Kurt and Maria Moehlmann, he died Wednesday July 7, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center due to complications following surgery for a brain tumor. Interment will be private.
He married Anita Holzrichter on July 17, 1992, in Belvidere. Eric graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1997 where he earned his MBA. He worked at Eisenmann Corporation in Crystal Lake for five years, and he spent the last year working for Rapistan Systems, Inc. in Grand Rapids, Mich., as manager in the electrical engineering department.
He is survived by his wife, Anita of Crystal Lake; daughter, Tina of Crystal Lake; parents, Kurt and Maria Moehlmann of Gromitz,Germany; sister, Heike Moehlmann of Frankfurt, Germany; mother-in-law, Trudy Holzrichter of Crystal Lake; and brother-in-law, Fred Holzrichter of Oakland, Neb.

He was the beloved husband of Angela Parisi (nee Pelagio); devoted father of Rino (Marianne) and Franco (Gina) Parisi; fond grandfather of Gaetano, Nicholas, Angela, Tonia and Marco Parisi; and dear brother of Anna Scorrano.
