Franklin R. Havlik of Batavia
Private funeral services for Franklin R. Havlik of Batavia, formerly of Glen Ellyn, will be held on Wednesday, at Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home in Batavia.
He passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Hinsdale Hospital. Interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery.
Mr. Havlik was a graduate of Morton High School and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. A veteran, he had served in the Air Force during World War II. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for Navistar International as an engineer in research and development. Franklin enjoyed stone sculpturing of animals and working with wood and metal crafts. Most of all, he devoted his life to his beloved family and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Rosemarie Havlik; sons, Craig and Gary Havlik, both of Batavia; sister-in-law, Emily Havlik of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; nephews, Neil (Judith) Havlik of Perry, Ark., and Douglas Havlik of Ames, Iowa; niece, Rebecca (William) Palmer ofWheaton; and several extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Havlik.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Tri-City Corps, 1710 S. Seventh Ave., St. Charles, IL 60174.

Goetz G. `Bill' Henke, 59, of Lombard, died Sunday, July 11, 1999. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home,Lombard, (630) 629-0094.

Wayne A. Holloway of Round Lake
Services for Wayne A. Holloway, 66, a resident of Round Lake for 32 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born in Chicago, he passed away Saturday, July 10, 1999, at his home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, following the services.
A veteran, Mr. Holloway had served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was an avid Cubs fan as well as a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Iron Workers Union Local #63, and the American Legion Stars and Stripes #1170 in Round Lake Park.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Holloway, whom he wed Oct. 27, 1956; children, Wayne (Dawna) Holloway Jr., Debbie (Scott) Charbonneau and Lori Polejewski; grandchildren, Alissa, Brandon, Kevin, Amanda, Stacy, Brittany and Ryan; and his mother, Eleanor Krueger.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Krueger; brother, Roger Holloway; and sister, Janice Smith.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel.

Eleanor M. Holther of Elk Grove Village
Prayers for Eleanore M. Holther (nee Muhr), 76, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Michael's Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.
Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Matthews Chapel, Schaumburg.
Born June 17, 1923, she died Sunday June 11, 1999, at Northwest Community Healthcare. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
She was the mother of Sandra Lisowski, Gregory (Geraldine) and Gary (Penny); sister of Julius Muhr and Lorraine (Richard) Oates; grandmother of six; and great-grandmother of seven.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Richard J. Hrubecky formerly of Elgin
A funeral Mass for Richard J. Hrubecky, 66, of Flippin, Ark., formerly of Elgin, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today, at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Thomas Dempsey will officiate.
Born Nov. 30, 1932, in Chicago, to James and Zdenka (nee Vopatek) Hrubecky, he passed away Friday, July 9, 1999, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Mr. Hrubecky was retired from the Water Reclamation District of Chicago. A Korean War veteran, he was a member of VFW Post 2378 in Berwyn.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hrubecky; daughters, Susan (Richard) Pryzeki, Diane (Daniel) Kolar and Louise (James) Juarez; and grandchildren, J. R., Brittany, Brandon, Desirae and Gracie.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia; his parents; and his brother, James.

Anna Jankowski of Hoffman Estates
Prayers for Anna Jankowski (nee Masino), 91, will be said Thursday,at 9:15 a.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Hoffman Estates. Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon Parkway, Schaumburg.
Born Nov., 11, 1907, in Chicago, she died Monday, July 12, 1999, in Hoffman Estates. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Virginia); grandchildren, Debbie, Denise, Brian, Kim, Christine, Diane, Julieann and Kevin Langford; sister, Katerine Razon; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Casimer; and sons, Vincent and Frank.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Gloria Margaret Lindstrom of Wheaton
A graveside service for Gloria Margaret Lindstrom, 84, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.
Born July 4, 1915, in Chicago, she died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at B. R. Ryall YMCA in Glen Ellyn, where she was a member of the Senior's Swim Team.
Survivors include her sons, Philip (Catherine) Lindstrom ofPalatine and Larry Lindstrom of Florida; grandchildren, Brian, Erin, Margaret Ann, Kurt, Jeff, Karyn, Brandi and Lindsey Lindstrom; great-granddaughter, Britni; sister, Agnes Marie (Fred) Corkill; and brothers, Thomas (Sue) McKenna and Richard (Betty) McKenna.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lindstrom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the DuPage Convalescent Center, 400 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187.

Muriel H. McDonald of Warrenville
A Mass of Christian Burial for Muriel H. McDonald, 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Irene Church, Warrenville.
Born June 20, 1923, in New Haven, Conn., she died Sunday, July 11, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
A Warrenville resident since 1993, she was a member of St. irene Church.
Survivors include her children, Bill (Debbie) McDonald of Naperville, Maureen (Karl) Lange of Warrenville, Tim (Audrey) McDonald of Carol Stream and Doug (Cathy) McDonald of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Molly, Matthew, Patrick, Andrew, Ian, Tim, Sherry, Frank and Will; and brother, Richard Hannan of Boca Raton, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mary Hannan; and husband, William L. McDonald, Jan. 2, 1999.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

James A. `Jim' Nuzzo of Glenview
Prayers for James A. `Jim' Nuzzo, 87, will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 3535 Thornwood Avenue, Glenview.
He was born Feb., 26, 1912, in Chicago, and died Sunday July 11, 1999, at Glenbrook Hospital. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Jim was employed with I. D. O. T. for more than 20 years and was a former member of the Glenview V. F. W.
Jim is survived by his former wife, Fannie; his children, Dominick (Lorette) Nuzzo of Louisville, Kentucky, Salvatore (Carm) Nuzzo of Burghill, Ohio, Christopher Nuzzo of McHenry and Catherine Nuzzo of Elgin; and grandchildren, Jimmy, Alivia, Nick, Vincent and Gina Nuzzo; He was the loved uncle of several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Cairo and Josephine May; and brothers, Joseph and Lawrence Nuzzo.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Phillip Robert Power
Private services were held for Phillip Robert Power, 74, a longtime resident of the Chicagoland area.
Born in Fargo, N. D., he died Sunday July 4, 1999, at Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines.
He was a delivery man in the auto parts industry as well as a member of the Des Plaines Moose Lodge.
He was the beloved husband of Alice (nee Ford); loving father of Gail Power of Hoffman Estates, Bruce Sr. (Margo) Power, Charles Power and John Power, all of Wheeling; grandfather of Erin and Bruce Power Jr.; brother of Ken Power; and uncle of many niecesand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Harold; and sister Alta.
Arrangements were made by Richard Lamb Funeral Service and Resource Center, Westmont.

Raymond L. Price
Services for Raymond L. Price, 55, of Chicago Heights, formerly of Hammond, Ind. and Tampa, Fla., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Thornridge Funeral Home, 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave., Dolton. Rev. Nanci A. Rosinski will officiate.
Born Dec. 31, 1943, in Chicago Heights, he died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago. Interment will be private.
Recently retired, he had been a teacher at Thornwood High School, having been in District 205 schools since 1972. He held various local, state and national offices in both the Florida and Illinois Education Associations and the National Education Associations, from the early 1970s through 1998. An active member of the South Holland Jaycees during the 1970s, he was a member and past trustee of First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights and a lifelong Cubs fan.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Price (nee Keister); children, Christopher Price of Oak Forest and Christine Thompson of Glendale Heights; mother, Jean Fentress of Port Richey, Fla.; and siblings, Gloria Woodrow of New Port Richey, Fla., Doty Corey of Hudson, Fla., Carol Jaroszewski of Schererville, Ind. and Paul Price of Portage, Ind.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

A homemaker, she was the wife of Richard Redmond of Fox Lake; mother of Albert George Woodard of Manchester, N. H., Arminda (George) Crawford of Galena, Ohio and Judy (Phil) Woodard DeMolli of Rockford; grandmother of 17; and great-grandmother of one.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
