Services for Sharon S. Cole (nee Smith), 51, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Michael's Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.
Born June 20, 1948, in Chicago, she died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
She was the wife of James Cole; sister of Michael Smith; and aunt of Dylan and Alexia Smith.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Robert A. Degenhardt formerly of Glen Ellyn
Services for Robert A. Degenhardt, 72, of McHenry, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. The Rev. Ronald Yurcus will officiate.
Born April 13, 1927, in Glen Ellyn, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Mr. Degenhardt had been employed as a general foreman in inspection for Navistar. He was a veteran of the Navy Seabees during World War II and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Victory Medal.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Degenhardt of McHenry; children, Robin Rose of Lombard, Kathleen Tajak of Glen Ellyn and Krys Crouch of Glen Ellyn; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Hanrahan, Andrea (Phil) McAleer, Jessica Crouch, Nathaniel (Michele) Rose, Diane Tajak, Amy Crouch and Courtney Rose; great-grandchild, Chase Rose; and aunts, Marguerite Matthew and Verna Franz of Arizona.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

David Conway Englund of Rockford
A funeral Mass for David Conway Englund, 66, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. James Church in Rockford, with the Rev. David E. Beauvais officiating.
Born July 30, 1932, in Rockford, to Carl and Marion (nee Conway) Englund, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at his home.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Mr. Englund had been employed as a photographer at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 24 years, retiring in 1994. A veteran, he had served in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Englund was a member of St. James Church. A big Bears fan, he also enjoyed biking, camping, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Englund of Rockford and Daniel (Kathy) Englund of Cary; daughter, Valerie (Rick) Seivert of Rockford; grandchildren, Nicholas, Catie and Rebecca Seivert, and Robert and Sarah Englund; brother, Charles (Veletta) Englund of Rockford; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mary, David Brambert, Barb Friday and Jack Broughton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Fitzgerald & Assoc. Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, with a Christian wake service at 5:30 p.m.

Garry A. Geers of Woodridge
Services for Garry A. Geers, 40, will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, at The Lombard Christian Reformed Church, 2020 S. Meyers road, Lombard. He will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
Born March 7, 1959 in Oak Park, he died Wednesday July 14, 1999 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park.
Mr. Geers was a supervisor for an electronic imaging company.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Geers (nee Allen) of Woodridge; father, Gerald Geers; parents-in-law, George and Virginia Allen; brother of, Cathy L. (Marshall McKay) Geers, Lindy L. (Glenn) VanBeek, andLaurel K. (Bob) Townsend; brother-in-law of, George (Toni) Allen, Michael (Jane) Allen, James (Cynthia) Allen and Lorene (Charles) Patel; uncle of many nieces and nephews; and grandson-in-law of Mary Loncar.
He was preceded in death by his child, Leah Geers; and his mother, Catherine Geers.

Robert A. `Bob' Glenn of Naperville
A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert A. `Bob' Glenn, 64, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville.
Born July 18, 1934, in Davenport, Iowa, he died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at home. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
Mr. Glenn was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church since moving to Naperville in 1971. He resided in Chicago and was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church from 1961 until 1971. He graduated in 1959 from St. Ambrose College in Davenport with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. Employed by Bituminous Casualty Corporation in Chicago as an underwriter and branch manager from 1959 until 1989, he retired in 1994 from Willis-Cooroon. RobertGlenn was an avid golfer and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (nee Walsh) of Naperville, whom he married in 1960; children, Molly Glenn of New York, N. Y., Patrick (Carrie) Glenn of Naperville and Christopher Glenn of Naperville; and grandson, Tristan Glenn of Naperville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard and Viola Glenn; and brother, Richard Glenn.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

June M. Gredlics, 75, of Woodridge, died Thursday, July 15, 1999. Arrangements were made by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Lisle, (630) 964-9392.

Lula C. Grivett of Ridgefield
A memorial service for Lula C. Grivett, 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church. Rev. Douglas R. Loving will officiate.
Funeral services for the family were held Wednesday. Interment was in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
Born Oct. 7, 1909, in Alden, Ill., the daughter of Lewis and Winnie (nee VanHoozen) Bottlemy, she died Monday, July 12, 1999, at home.
She was a member of Ridgefield-Crystal Lake Presbyterian Church, the Ridgefield Grange and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, Louis of Ridgefield; children, Anna Jean Jones of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mary (Dale) Wille of Troy, Ill., Patricia (Alfred) Henrys of Elgin, Richard (Carol) Grivett of Crystal Lake, Helen (James) Maclure of Palatine and Donald (Patricia) Grivett of Ridgefield; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, Augie (Lenore) Bottlemy of Bull Shoals, Ark. and Wayne Bottlemy of Alden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Isabele Hage and Jane Goetler; and brothers, Orrin and Milo Bottlemy.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010 or the Arthritis Foundation, 303 E. Wacker Dr., Suite 300, Chicago, IL 60601.

Thomas E. `N. Y. Tommy' Hallock formerly of Lake Zurich and Antioch
Services for ThomasE. `N. Y. Tommy' Hallock, 45, of Grand Marsh, Wis., will be held at 4 p.m. today, Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake.
Born Oct. 10, 1953, in Stanford, Conn., he passed away Monday, July 12, 1999, at home. He has left us and gone to Harley Heaven. Interment will be private.
A member of D. M. M. C. motorcyle Club, he is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; brother, Steven (Kathleen) Hallock; and stepchildren, Kay Ann, Joe, Sandy, Robbie and Trina. He was Gramps to Jeremy and Kelly; and uncle of Matt, John and Katie. He will bemissed by many friends, too numerous to mention.
Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of the services today, at the funeral chapel.

Mary L. Hamilton of Libertyville
Memorial services are being planned for Mary L. Hamilton, 68, of Libertyville.
Born March 14, 1931, in Chalybeate, Miss., she passed away Tuesday, July 13, 1999, in McHenry. Interment will be in Chalybeate.
Mrs. Hamilton had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 30 years and recently had lived in Antioch.
Surviving are her children, Joyce (Robert) Schaefer of Grayslake, William (Sabrina) Jones of Riverside, Ala., Kenneth (Debra) Jones of Janesville, Wis., Annette (Jeff) Jones of Antioch and Patricia Jones of Grayslake; grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Christopher, Gina, T. K., Matt, Samantha, Michael and Stevie Ray; five brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Symonds-Lakes Funeral Home, Grayslake.

E. Robert Harz of West Dundee
Services for E. Robert Harz, 83, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee. The Rev. William P. Yonker will officiate.
Born Aug. 6, 1915, in Elgin, to William and Anna (nee Nerge) Von Harz, he died Friday, July 16, 1999, at his home. Burial will be private on Monday, inDundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
Mr. Harz was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of East Dundee. He was a printer by trade and a former 28-year employee of the Brethren Press.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lucille Harz (nee Kutzleb), whom he married June 8, 1939; daughters, Shelley (Robert) Haiges of Algonquin, Jessica (Glenn) Gurnett of Elgin and Julie (Roger) Baldwin of Crystal Lake; and grandchildren, Robin, Rory and Ross Haiges, Nathan and Hannah Gurnett, and Christopher and Sarah Baldwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryan R. Haiges, on Sept. 7, 1996; and brothers, Willard and Wilfred Harz.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the church.
Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church 2000 Fund.

William F. Hild of Villa Park
Funeral services for William F. Hild, 49, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Community Presbyterian Church, 1111 E. Madison St., Lombard.
Born March 29, 1950, in Lombard, he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home.
Mr. Hild had been employed as a maintenance supervisor for the City of Villa Park.
He was the beloved husband of Patrice Hild; loving father of William, Lynn and Scott; and cherished son of Phyllis and Henry Hild.

Sarah V. O. `Sally' Jenkins of Barrington Hills
Services for Sarah V. O. `Sally' Jenkins (nee Van Ornum), 49, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington. TheRev. John Ortberg will officiate.
Born Feb. 26, 1950, in Evanston, she died Friday, July 16, 1999, at Evanston Hospital. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing, Minn.
A loving wife and mother, Mrs. Jenkins was also a member of Willow Creek Community Church, where she belonged to the Prayer Team. She was a member of the PEO of Illinoisand loved gardening, animals, and especially people.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Jenkins, whom she married Dec. 31, 1976, in Naples, Fla.; children, Jasmin and Rory Jenkins; parents, Jim and Barbara Van Ornum of Cook, Minn.; brothers, Harry Van Ornum of Fort Bragg, Calif., Joe Van Ornum of Bloomington, Minn., and Andy Van Ornum of Red Lodge, Mont.; and many loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Stirlen-Pieper & Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (LakeCook Road), Barrington.
