Ian Matthew Bridges of St. Charles
Funeral services for Ian Matthew Bridges, the infant son of Danieland Jill (nee Potrykus) Bridges of St. Charles, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles.
Born July 15, 1999, in Park Ridge, he died Friday, July 16, 1999, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva Township.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Sue Potrykus of South Carolina; paternal grandparents, C. Richard and Carol Bridges of St. Charles; and aunts and uncles, David and Jane Potrykus, Paul Potrykus, Rich and Maria Bridges, and Shannon and Rick Metzger.
There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lutheran General Children's Hospital, designated to the NICU, 205 W. Touhy Ave., Suite 225, Park Ridge, IL 60068-9757.

Mary Cagle of Lombard
A funeral Mass for Mary Cagle, 38, a resident of Lombard and formerly of Woodridge, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Irene Catholic Church, 28 W 531 Warrenville Road, Warrenville.
Born Sept. 1, 1960, in Ohio, she died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Hinsdale Hospital. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
Ms. Cagle was a 1978 graduate of Downers Grove High School and received a bachelor's degree from National Lewis Univeristy. She attended Ginger Creek Community Church.
Mary is survived by her mother, Helen Cagle of Kimberling, Mo.; and nine brothers and sisters, Bill (Cathy) Cagle of Ohio, Connie (George) Balogh of Arkansas, Rich (Caroline) Cagle of Texas, Jack (Debbie) Cagle of Addison, Janice Cagle of Carol Stream, Jim (Eileen) Cagle of West Chicago, Larry Cagle of Elk Grove Village, Denise (Chuck) Schmidt of Warrenville and Ken Cagle of North Aurora. Shewas also the much-loved aunt of 24 nieces and nephews and 15 greatnieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William A. Cagle.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the church.
Arrangements weremade by Hultgren Funeral Home, Wheaton.

Sharon S. Cole of Schaumburg
Services for Sharon S. Cole (nee Smith), 51, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Michael's Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.
Born June 20, 1948, in Chicago, she died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
She was the wife of James Cole; sister of Michael Smith; and aunt of Dylan and Alexia Smith.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Donald A. Cox of Northbrook
Donald A. Cox passed away peacefully, Friday, July 16, 1999, at his home in Northbrook, surrounded by the love of his family. He had been born Feb. 5, 1939, in Laurium, Mich.
It was Don'sspecific wish that his children not have services of any kind and preferred, rather, that his family and friends celebrate his life in the good memories that they shared. His ashes will be spread in the Gratiot River in Upper Michigan where he learned to fly fish as a boy with his grandfather.
Surviving are his mother, Helen Cox of Manistique,Mich.; children, Dirk (Cindy) Cox of Hudson, N. Y., Wendy (Terry) Conroy of Fox River Grove, and Terri (Jerry) Lucas of Cary; seven loving grandchildren, Sarah and Amy Lucas, Molly, Ryan and Andy Cox, and Timmy and Christina Conroy; and his former wife, Joan Briggs-Levitski of Palatine.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Cox, and brother, William Cox.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201; or to a charity of donor's choice.

John P. Crnich of Carol Stream
Prayers for John P. Crnich, 73, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights. Mass will follow at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Road, Glendale Heights.
He passed away on Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Wynscape Nursing Home, Wheaton. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.
Mr. Crnich was a World War II veteran and a retired bindery manager for R. R. Donnelly Company in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (nee McAndrews); children, Nick (Linda), John J. and Mary Pat Lake; mother, Caroline Crnich; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Nicole, and Natalie Crnich, and Sean, Colleen and Caitlin Lake; and sister, Ann (Jim) Hlavin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Crnich; and brother Nick Crnich.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.

Anne Marie DeFalco (nee Landato), 76, of Lombard, died Friday, July 16, 1999. Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard (630) 629-0094.

Dolores M. Fors (nee Grow), 78, of Friendship Village in Schaumburg, died Saturday, July 17, 1999. Arrangements were made by Michael's Funeral Home, Schaumburg, (847) 891-2900.

Dale Fry, 72, of Poplar Grove, died Friday, July 16, 1999. Arrangements were made by Countryside Funeral Home, Streamwood/Schaumburg, (847/630) 289-8054.

Louie P. Gawlik recently of Vernon Hills
Services for Louie P. Gawlik, 84, formerly a 35-year resident of Franklin Park, will begin with prayers at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville, and continue with Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church.
Born July 23, 1914, in Chicago, he passed away Saturday, July 17, 1999, at home. Entombment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, following the Mass.
Mr. Gawlik was a retired policeman for the city of Franklin Park. A former member of St. Gertrude Parish, he was currently a member of St. Mary of Vernon Parish in Indian Creek.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Reinwald Gawlik of Vernon Hills; son, Robert Gawlik of Norridge; stepchildren, Daniel (Susan) Reinwald of Gurnee, Richard (Cheryl) Reinwald of Crystal Lake and Denise (Michael) Rosenberg of Round Lake Beach; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his sisters, Sophie (the late Stanley) Martin and Stella (the late Edward) Solak of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Angeline; his parents, Albert and Frances Gawlik; one sister; and eight brothers.
Friends of the family may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Philip B. Hornung of Round Lake Beach
A memorial service for Philip B. Hornung, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (Route 176), Mundelein.
Born June 18, 1927, in Kenosha, Wis., he died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Philip trained the Hackney Show Horses at the Hawthorn Melody Farms in Libertyville for more than 20 years.
Survivors include his children, Frank Hornung of Wheeling, Linda (Larry) Christy of Bartlett, Diana Murphy of Vernon Hills, Nancy Hornung of Round Lake Beach, David Hornung of Round Lake Beach, Phylis (Tom) Gach of Cary, Robert (Sandi) Hornung of Grayslake and Debbie (Doug) Jones of Cary; sisters, Helen Decker of Kenosha, Margaret Burton of Phoenix, Ariz., Ethel McWilliams of Florida and Fran Supitilov of St. Charles; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Diabetes. Association or the American Heart Association, are appreciated.

Patricia I. Keating of Rolling Meadows
Services for Patricia I. Keating, 63, will be held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
Born Oct. 23, 1935, in Chicago, she died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at home.
Patricia had been a court clerk for the Cook County court system for more than 20 years, most recently at the District 3 Rolling Meadows Branch.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Keating; and special friend of Patricia Kallaus and many more.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of the services Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Aplastic Anemia Foundation.

Jim McMullin of Gurnee
Services for Jim McMullin, 65, will be held at 10 a.m. today, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Hunt Club and Gages Lake Roads, Gurnee.
Born in Chicago, he passed away Thursday, July 15, 1999, at the Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, after a 25-year battle with cancer. Interment will be in Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, following the services.
Jim had been an employee of Fannie May Candies before starting his own painting and maintenance company.
Survivors include his wife, Norma McMullin (nee Delfs), whom he wed in 1968; daughter, Kelly McMullin; sister, Shirley Spachner; mother-in-law, Anna Delfs; sisters-in-law, Marge (Joe) Kowalski and Rosemary (Fred) Meyer; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Corso.
Arrangements were made by Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake.

Elizabeth C. Milford of Arlington Heights
Services for Elizabeth C. Milford, 101, will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, at Rocky River Baptist Church, 3266 Lake Secession Road, Iva, S. C. Rev. Don Smith will officiate.
Born Sept. 4, 1897, in Chicago, she died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at her home at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Milford was an accomplished pianist and for a number of years had been a member and officer of the Ravenswood (Chicago) Order of the Eastern Star. For the past 40 years she and her recently deceased husband, J. Jahue Milford, had made their home in Prospect Heights and regularly attended the Prospect Heights Community Church.
Survivors include her son, James J. Jr. (Patricia) Milford of Genoa City, Wis.; daughter, Carolyn (Arthur) Goldsmith of Wilton, Conn.; brother, Trusten P. II (Mildred) Lee; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Trusten P. Lee and Caroline Mittelstedt Lee; and brothers, William Lee and Albert Lee.
Flowers are optional.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home, Prospect Heights Community Church or Rocky River Baptist Church.
Arrangements were made by G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines.

Daniel J. O'Brien of Wauconda
A funeral Mass for Daniel J. O'Brien, 52, formerly of Libertyville, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born Dec. 17, 1946, in Chicago, he died Friday, July 16, 1999, at Hines V. A. Medical Center in Maywood. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Employed as a business consultant, he served as a commissioned officer with the Army in Germany.
Survivors include his children, Erin and Megan O'Brien; sisters, Patricia Ann (Dale) Wendt of Third Lake and Kathleen (Thomas) McLaughlin of Peoria; grandchildren, Riley and Devin Daniel O'Brien; and dear friend, Carol Krol.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Jeanette (nee McMahon); and sister, Karen.
Visitation will be from 4 to9 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.
