Norfleet
WINDSOR-- Timothy Wayne Joseph Norfleet, infant son of Tim Norfleet and Alisha Harrelson of Windsor, passed away 9:25 a.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) in St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Windsor Cemetery
with Robert Norfleet officiating. There will be no visitation. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor, is in charge of arrangements.
Timmy was born 9:16 a.m. April 11, 2001, in St. John's Hospital.
Surviving are his parents; grandparents, Joe and Paula Norfleet of Shelbyville; Joyce Norfleet of Monticello; Toni Rinehart of Windsor; Dave and Carol Harrelson of Windsor; great-grandparents, Bill and Barb Harrelson of Cooks Mills; Lee and Nancy Metcalf of Port Orange, Fla.; Dennis and Debbie Lovins of Springfield; aunts, Kelli Paxton of Mattoon; April Harrelson of Windsor; uncles, Dakota Rinehart of Windsor; Troy Norfleet of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Hubert and Myrtle Norfleet, and uncle, Jason Paxton.
Reeser
WELDON -- M. Stanley Reeser, 75, of Weldon died 3:15 p.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) in Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Weldon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louella Pence officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Trigg & Calvert Weldon Chapel with 8 p.m. Masonic rites. Burial will be in Weldon Cemetery. Memorials: Weldon Peace Meal.
Mr. Reeser was born Nov. 3, 1925, in Weldon, the son of Myrl and Lucinda Sutter Reeser. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was affiliated with Weldon United Methodist Church. He was a Weldon farmer for more than 56 years. He married Marie Worthey Feb. 14, 1973, in Weldon.
Surviving are his wife; children, Susan Inman of Park Forrest; Neil Reeser of Weldon; Anita Johnson of LeRoy; Kent Reeser of Weldon; Crystal Norris of Farmer City; Coral Owens of Weldon; Dean Worthy, Cameo Killian and Collette Timmerman, all of Monticello; sisters, Louise Provines of Vandalia; Mary Edwards of Lincoln; Carolyn Lighthall of Rockford; Dorothy LoBosco of Algonquin; 23 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Whitlatch
NEWMAN -- Mildred Johnson Wade Whitlatch, 87, of Hilliard, Ohio, died 3:30 p.m. Friday (April 27, 2001) in Grant Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Joines Funeral Home, Newman, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Young America Cemetery, Hume.
Mrs. Whitlatch was born June 22, 1913, in Brocton, the daughter of Omer and Effie Carnes Johnson. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies Shrine and was past worthy matron and past high priest. She married Lewis Wade. She later married Guy Whitlatch. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Surviving are her son, Malcom Wade of Hilliard; brothers, Vernon "Punt" Johnson of Brocton; Virgil "Buck" Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; Keith "Pete" Johnson of Newman; Harold Johnson of Hume; sisters, Barbara Compton of Newman; Wilma Reichman of Montana; Harriet Romoser of Ridgefarm; Carolyn Craddock of Newman; one granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, three brothers and one sister.

Burke
DECATUR -- Jennie Eloise Burke, 86, of Morrison, formerly of Tampico and Prophetstown, died Saturday evening (April 28, 2001) in Morrison Skills Care.
Funeral prayer services were Wednesday, followed by Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico. The Rev. Dan Peters officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Garland Funeral Home, Tampico, handled arrangements. A memorial has been established in her memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico, and the Tampico Library.
Mrs. Burke was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Hume Township, the daughter of Ford Burdette and Mabel Nancy Johnson Potter. She was past president and agent for Prophetstown Farmer's Mutual Insurance Co. for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church in Tampico, Whiteside County Board of School trustee, Whiteside County Farm Bureau, Wa Tan Ye Club in Tampico and Prophetstown and Royal Neighbors of America. She was a 1933 graduate of Tampico High School and attended class
reunions every year. She was united in marriage to Edward S. "Ted" Burke Feb. 7, 1935, in Tampico. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1970.
Surviving are her daughters, Rita Ann Deets of Peoria; Maryalis (James L.) Burgess of Decatur; son, Clare Edward (Barbara) Burke of Peoria; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two great-grandchildren.

DECATUR -- Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Slagel Eubanks, 42, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Decatur, passed away April 16, 2001, in Dallas.

Cindy was a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 1980, and was a juvenile probation officer for Dallas County for 15 years.
Surviving are her parents, Gary and Pat Slagel; husband, Jeff Eubanks; children, Daniel and Hannah; sisters, Debbie Bradshaw, Kathy Slagel and Kristin Slagel; grandmother, Thelma Slagel Fairbury.
Cindy's greatest gift was her devotion to her children, her husband, friends and family. Her grace, courage and generosity will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Eustice
DECATUR -- Gloria Earline Eustice, 60, of Decatur died Monday (April 30, 2001) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Memorial services will be 5 to 7 Friday in Walker Funeral Service and Chapel.
She was the daughter of Earl and Jean Scarlett White. She was a member of AA for 29 years and made many lasting friendships there.
Survivors: daughter, Rhonda Halbrook Martin of Decatur; sons, Jason (Jackie) Auton of Decatur; Harold Eustice, Pontiac; grandchildren, Seneca Ray Bonner of Chandler, Ariz.; Mishari Halbrook and Savannah DeBerry, both of Decatur;
Samantha and Serina Auton, both of Decatur; great-granddaughter, Keissia Gully; special friends, Ragina and Betsy.
She was preceded by parents; her son, Gregory Halbrook; her grandson, Robert Keith "Bootsy" Martin, and by her beloved dog, Duchess.
