LINCOLN -- Harold Ray DeVore, 81, Lincoln, owner/operator of DeVore's Garage and Welding Shop, died Tuesday (May 1, 2001).

Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation: one hour before services. Burial: Kline Cemetery, Broadwell. Memorials: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Illinois.

Gallagher

LINCOLN -- Warren White Gallagher, 83, Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday (April 28, 2001) in Tucson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10,in Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. Entombment will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, in Hott Mausoleum, Monticello Cemetery. Evergreen Mortuary,
Cemetery & Crematory, is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to Lincoln College.

Warren was born March 26, 1918, in Lincoln. He attended the University of Illinois, Millikin University and the University of Colorado. He was a member of Lincoln IOOF, Lincoln Elks, Pima Air Museum, Mountain Oyster Club, Tucson Country
Club and was on the board of Lincoln College. He was a World War II veteran, serving as a B-24 navigator with the 392nd Bomb Group. He served four years with the 8th Air Force.

Mr. Gallagher is survived by his wife, Jeanne (formerly Jeanne Hott) of Lincoln; daughters, Lesliann Gallagher McKay of Evergreen, Colo.; Sharon Gallagher Smith of Sherman; grandson, Fredric H. Smith of Davidson, N.C.; stepsons, Charles
Michael Bennis of Greenwich, Conn.; John Maxwell Bennis of Virginia Beach, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David C. and Rose White Gallagher, seven sisters and one brother.

Guymon

MAHOMET -- Harry J. Guymon, 80, of Mahomet died 12:10 a.m. Wednesday (May 2, 2001) in Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with Masonic rites by Urbana Masonic Lodge 157. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton. Memorials:
Illinois Bell Telephone Pioneers All Gods Children Shall Have Shoes or donor's choice.

Harry was born April 3, 1921, in Springfield, the son of Harry J. and Mabel E. Powell Guymon. He graduated from Lanphier High School in Springfield and attended the University of Illinois. He was a central office foreman for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Springfield, Champaign and Danville for 36 years. He also worked at Lake of the Woods Golf Course as a starter and ranger for 15 years. He was a member of Urbana Masonic Lodge 157 and Illinois Bell Telephone Pioneers. He was
a Ham Radio operator who escorted the Olympic torch in 1984. He was an avid golfer and reader and was a radio operator in the Navy during World War II. He married Kathleen Louise Robbins April 10, 1949, in Springfield.

Surviving are his wife, Louise; sons, Gary Guymon of Decatur; Mark Guymon of Champaign; daughters, Kathy Lawson of Mahomet; Susie Cooper of Tolono; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Hahn

OLNEY -- Bernetta Hahn, 86, Olney, died Wednesday (May 2, 2001).

Services: 10 a.m. Friday, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olney. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, Olney, with 7:30 p.m. holy rosary service. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Stringtown. Memorials: donor's choice.

Joynt

CERRO GORDO -- William E. "Bill" Joynt, 78, Cerro Gordo, died Monday (April 30, 2001).

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Friday, Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home. Memorials: Macon County Humane Society or Hope Welty Public Library of Cerro Gordo.

Patten

CERRO GORDO -- Lora M. Patten, 93, formerly of Cerro Gordo, died 12:40 a.m. Wednesday (May 2, 2001) in Cedarwood Nursing Home.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: American Heart Association.

Lora was born Nov. 4, 1907, in Bethany, the daughter of James and Minnie Wagemann McKinney. She married Ralph L. Patten May 29, 1930, in Charleston. He preceded her in death July 7, 1988.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Lou Munson and husband Richard of Cisco; grandchildren, Gloria Litwiller and husband Rob of Atwood; Joyce Rogahn of Cisco; Brenda Love of Fort Worth, Texas; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; granddaughter, Judy; and grandson, Rick.
