Nelson

WAYNESVILLE -- Ina E. Nelson, 81, of Waynesville died 8:56 p.m. Sunday (May 6, 2001) in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Dan Sherstad officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wapella. Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Nelson was born March 31, 1920, in Waynesville, the daughter of Lester and Eunice Goodrich Wampler. She was affiliated with Waynesville Christian Church. She married Gerald Nelson Oct. 15, 1940, in St. Louis, Mo.

Surviving are her husband; son, Jerry D. Nelson of Decatur; daughters, Jeanette Forman of Hudson; Shirley Langhoff of Bloomington; Rita Heiberg of Bloomington; sister, Helen Mayfield of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

LINCOLN -- Virginia F. Ording, 83, Lincoln, died Saturday (May 5, 2001).

Graveside services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. No visitation. Arrangements by: Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln.
